Captain James put us on the fish! Trout, Mangrove snapper, Snook, grouper, ladyfish, and redfish. Awesome fun but got pretty hot in the mangroves.

Cap. James was great. He didn't overcomplicate things and we had a great time. He took care of all the stuff you don't like about fishing and let us just have a great time catching fish. I highly recommend.

We had a great fishing experience with James. He was a great guide. He took us to great spots and we immediately started catching fish. He was great making sure my two boys caught a lot of fish. I highly recommend him if you are looking for an in shore fishing experience for you or your family. All equipment and bate was provided.

James put us on fish immediately. We caught so many fish throughout our trip. He kept us entertained and busy. He would bait our hooks, cast for us & release our fish. (He would let us as well when we wanted to!) My son is 6 years old & was happy and busy the entire time. As a family of 4 we all agreed it was the best part of our vacation.

Captain James was a great Captain. He was great with the kids (ages 8 and 11). He was both personal and professional. We caught a bounty of various fish. The whole family enjoyed the outing. I would recommend Captain James to anyone looking to book a charter.

Terrible time. My group was early, and the boat Captain already had a group on his boat to take out. He drove away and said to come back later. I took a late night flight the evening before and had to leave a hour before my trip to get there on time to be told we cant help you and still charged me for the trip. I would definitely use a different charter.

Captain James got us on fish from the very first cast! We got a number of snook and jacks to bite in the many areas he took us to in and around Sarasota Bay and Robert’s Bay. We had a party of four, including a six year-old and it was a great day. Lots of bait, no stress and easy going! It’s easy to find him at the dock at Hart’s Landing — there is free covered parking in the shade under the Ringling bridge if you are lucky enough to get there before a crowd — and easy guy to work with to get out on the water. A patient and professional guy who is punctual and flexible. Recommend!

James provides a great experience. He did a great job including everyone, directing, showing patience and providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. His boat is meticulous. We really appreciated his work to make the trip great and for taking us to three different areas to fish for a variety.

James took us to 4 different sites. With his kind help and instruction, kids caught 12 big fish in spite of the cold weather. James was courteous and knowledgeable. Boat was spotless and had all necessary equipment.

James is a FANTASTIC guide. Calm, experienced, smart, and funny. Two things that stood out to me about James was One; his preparation to give those with little to no experience fishing a memorable experience. Two, was the care he displayed for the bay, his boat, and equipment. He demonstrated a consistent, outstanding color, and I have no doubt that others would feel the same.

Capt Jim gave us a great day fishing. He put us on a number of productive fishing holes and we had a fun day. In addition, I am temporarily on crutches - he was helpful and cautious getting me on and off the boat. Also, when I had a fish that wanted to go behind the boat, he was quick to maneuver the boat to help me out. As I said, a great day!

Our family enjoyed a fantastic fishing adventure with Capt. James. He was very patient, upbeat and energetic with our family, including our 7 and 11 year old. Lots of smiles. Every one caught some fish (except me - how is that fair? Ha!). Did I mention the manatee? We are already looking forward to returning next summer and going on another adventure. Thanks, Capt. Captain James Gibson is a chilled dude, maybe 25 , ex soccer player, who loves to fish, works hard, had a cooler full of waters on ice, and a live well full of bait. We caught 24 fish, 7 species, 1-5pm, was awesome. Scale of 1-10? 11

What a fantastic experience, worth every penny!! Capt. James was great! Attentive, very knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to be around. Capt. James put us on the fish almost immediately, and kept it up for the duration of our journey. We caught several different varieties of fish, and the ones that were in season made it home with us. Every part of our trip with Capt. James was great and we hope to be able to do it again in the near future. The only part that wasn't great was the end, wish it could have went on for four hours more... Thank you so much Capt. for making our trip unforgettable!

James was very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. He made sure all 3 of our children (9 and under) caught fish and had a great time. Well worth it for anyone vacationing in the area.
