Itinerary
Your Fort Lauderdale Reef Fishing Charter starts off with a 10-12min cruise out to the inlet, passing through "Millionares Row", where you'll see some of the most extravagant houses and yachts in the world. Once we hit the inlet it's another 10min out to the fishing grounds and then fishing lines in! The mates will come around and get everyone baited and hooked up with gear and offer advice on how to get bites. We'll usually have time to fish a few different spots (wrecks, reefs, different depths & zones). When it's time to come in, we'll return through the inlet where you'll have a chance to take some pictures with the fish. Upon return to the dock the mates bring all the fish to the cleaning table where they will do free fish cleaning and recommend some good restaurants that will cook your fish for you. This is a great trip to go out and try some deep sea fishing, enjoy beautiful views of the coast and have some luck catching some good eating fish. You will be fishing for snapper, grouper, grunts, porgies and other small game fish. The boat is air conditioned and very comfortable inside and out. It's fun for first timers and experienced fishers, and all ages can participate.

excellent guide - had great time on boat and took us to great locations - wish we had more time - would do again
My 9 year old son and I had soo much fun night deep sea fishing, the crew "mates" were welcoming, knowledgable, and great with kids! Lots of fish was caught ,and even a baby shark! Will repeat this activity next time we visit.
I highly recommend this experience. We were a group of 8. We were able to cluster together and share laughs while making memories. The crew was attentive with a good sense of humor as we jested with each other. Very affordable and they cleaned our catch. We were able to fish several spots and caught a variety of fish.
New Year’s Eve was absolutly fantastic caught a lot of fish staff was super friendly and helpful, and we even stayed out extra hr to see fireworks. I highly recommend this crew
Price was good. My son caught about 13 fish. I vomited the entire time despite my Dramamine but I believe I would have enjoyed it had I not been sick the entire time. Crew was helpful. Not a ton of people so you could spread out and not feel crowded. Would recommend.
Went on a night trip. Boat left over an hour late. Went out, they handed us a rig and a cup of bait. no variety lots of passengers up and down the sides, all fishing.. I don’t know where all those fish in the pictures were caught but the biggest caught on our run was a small baby shark. A few small reds.. and a few odds and ends. Strange thing is you aren’t allowed to fish off the stern. It’s like a buddy system back there where they do all the good fishing with great gear and bait. NOTHING at All like the customers up and down the sides. They were doing well while everyone else got bored very quickly. I’m not going to complain because it’s well worth the ride and adventure. But they never say a word about what goes on in the stern / rear.. If you are one of the bottom fishers don’t expect much. Anything good is a bonus. Also of note, there are no sanitary concerns. They don’t even give out anything to wipe or wash your hands. BRING WIPES. You are also pretty much on your own because the “Mates.. are always in the back with the “guys”.. might explain why they don’t cancel. I do disagree with my money being used for fuel and expenses knowing that the people in the rear benefit from it the most.
Was an amazing experience! The Mates helped everyone and was super knowledgeable. We caught a ton of fish. They even let my kid try to reel in a shark they caught. Definitely will do this again next time in Florida!!
It was really fun and the guides were very nice and helpful. Super cool ride through the millionaires row.
My teenager and I were excited for our evening fishing trip. 4 paying customers, so I’m surprised it wasn’t cancelled. Things certainly started off great with a sunset and a great view of the mansions and yachts as we left port. Then we hit open water. And the waves hit us back. Hard. I’ve been on cruises, ferries, and small boats. Driven a few boats myself, so I am not a stranger to the water or waves, but this was next-level rough. My teenager threw up. Then I threw up. Then another person too. The one (paying) customer that touched a fishing pole spent more time holding on to stay upright from the waves. Turns out, there was a small craft advisory that night. So, yeah, we probably shouldn’t have been out there at all. The 4-hour trip was cut in half after the other customers had enough and wanted to go back to port (and of course we agreed). We didn’t fish but were still reminded to tip (mind you there were 8 crew mates who were having a great time fishing on their own). I tipped—out of guilt, not appreciation. Knowing the conditions were that bad, why run the trip? No refund or rain check was offered. A responsible charter should prioritize safety and customer experience over squeezing in one more trip. If the only catch of the day is seasickness, maybe it’s time to rethink your business priorities.
It's a small fish trip. We didn't realize that if you want to catch something bigger you need to do a sport fish trip. The staff were all great. We did have fun.
Deckhand spent most of their time helping frequent guests. Fishing was good in 2 of 3 spots. Spent too much time in locations where fish were not biting.
We went for an afternoon drift fishing trip on Catch my Drift. Hector and Jesus were the mates. They were professional and courteous! We fished near the PortEverglades buoy. We caught a Filefish as well as other species. we had a great afternoon and look forward to our next trip! We are enjoying a unique dinner of Filefish in a tarragon sauce with Spanish rice.
We had a fantastic time. Brian and junior did a great job. Everyone had fun. We learned a lot about types of fish
The men were great ALL OF THEM! They were patient and kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Were they very quick to help when in need. Thank you Jesus and Mike
Horrible weather. The trip should have been cancel. The ship left the dock I. Very strong tide and waves. Everyone extremely sea sick. The trip wasn't canceled because they want to refund passengers. The life of passengers was put at risk due to greed.
Although we didn't catch anything, a lot of others did. The sea was rough and windy but the crew and captain were very knowledgeable and kept us all safe and comfortable. We will go again!
Fishing is good, even when its bad. We noticed there was literally no instruction from any of the deckhands. They just brought the bait around and put it on the ground next to people and when the boat stopped the captain said, "Okay, drop your lines." People were getting tangles and knots in their lines left and right. Luckily, we had been ocean fishing multiple times before, so we kind of knew what to do. But a little more guidance would be nice. They had multiple types of bait, but only ever brought around squid. Some guys on the back of the boat had sardines and other bait fish to use and they caught sharks and other cool things that no one else ever caught. When you did run out of bait, you had to search around for more. The customer should be able to fish and have fun, not be trying to figure out what to do, or how to do it, and have to look for your own bait.
Awesome experience. The guys put us on some great fish. Caught grouper, mahi mahi, black fin tuna, bonitas, mackeral, etc. Highly recommend.
This was an amazing trip. The mates were very helpful and tried very sure to make sure you were having a great time and catching fish.
Very helpful guys . Very patient for us woman that didn’t know what to do. Very informative. Cool and chill guys. Thanks Mike and Josh
Did the night trip this week and it was really good. The crew worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed, getting us fresh bait before we needed to ask for it. Also helped quickly when the line was stuck, or we had fish on. Never tried night fishing before and this made me want to do it again.
Wonderful day ! Jeff was great ! We caught several fish in which they scaled or would filet for you at the end of our trip. It was a great way to spend a day off!
Will & Logan was phenomenal. We had a great time. My 12 year old son caught a 50 inch Barracuda. He was so stoked. If you are looking for something to do I highly suggest you do this!! Super fun.
Josh was the first Mate (I think that's what it's called lol) and he was AWESOME! It was my first time EVER actually fishing and it was a great experience that even though I got seasick I will be definitely doing it again! Upon arrival on the boat the Captain greeted each guest and he was VERY personable it made the whole experience just that much better! Thanks guys for the AWESOME experience for me and my associates!
Although I got seasick and couldn't fish the last hour everything else was fantastic! The staff was amazing with helping with the bait and teaching how to fish, which you will get don't so quickly as it is very easy and kid friendly too! I caught at least 3 fishes in a row ! Definitely nice to do just watch for the weather as I went during the windy times so it was rough out there!
The deep sea fishing trip was amazing. The Tour guide and captain were hilarious. Everything is included so it was definitely well worth it!
Catching a lot of fish! Me and my daughter each caught 5, all different kinds. The workers on the boat were very helpful and fun.
Wanted something new and fun to do with the family and my little ones loved it the crew was super friendly and helpful they constantly checked if we needed help i totally recommend
It was a lot of fun fishing, although I didn’t catch anything, others did. The captain and crew were very helpful and friendly!
The ride out was most memorable. I had a problem with being scheduled to leave at 7:30pm for a 4 hour trip, but leaving at 8pm and coming back at 11pm. The spot we were at had smalller fish catches eating us dry on large hooks. Other deep sea fishing charters Ive been on would move to a new spot when nothing was biting or small catches. The mates were pretty cool guys, but the experience was ….meh.
Jesus and Jesse are fantastic. They were so attentive, helpful and enthusiastic during the trip. My husband caught a red snapper during our experience!
Was a great experience really enjoyed it my family loved it and wants to go again. The fishermen were great and very helpful.
Amazing trip! Absolutely would recommend to anyone! Guys are great and so helpful. We are looking forward to the next time asap
The crew was amazing and always helpful. It felt wonderful fishing again nothing like getting back to the calming waters. Caught lots of fish and enjoyed every memorable moment.
The crew was fantastic very helpful The boat was clean, but it was really really hard to catch Crewmembers did everything they could to help everybody
Best experience! We went on the 1:30 charter. Captain Billy made sure to angle the boat out of the sun when fishing. The mates Josh and Bryan were so attentive during the experience. My 11 year old had someone helping at all times. Fishing poles were easy to use. Fish were biting all day! We will be back!
The gentleman who staff this boat are Amazing at ensuring that even someone who is not a fisherman has everything they need to have a fun experience.
This fishing trip was awesome! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and easy-going. My husband unfortunately got sea sick for most of the trip, but our fishing guide, Josh, was really nice and kept checking in to make sure he was doing okay. All in all I’d say the price point is right and the trip was exactly what we expected. I’d definitely recommend it.
The water was really choppy, but the experience was amazing. Jack the mate was amazing and was a joy to talk too. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He alone made the experience much more enjoyable. I'll be back forsure. He told us he recently got his capitan license and I hope he names his boat in the future the Sparrow because capitan Jack of the Sparrow would be a great selling point!
The condition were terrible and the majority of the boat was very seasick the entire time - but the attention and kindness of the crew was not lost on us. They were super helpful and made the experience as enjoyable as possible. They can’t control the weather obviously - but I would recommend going out with them for a fishing excursion.
Great day fishing with fantastic crew, didn’t set any records with the fish we caught but it was a terrific day
Amazing trip and great crew. Andrew bent over backwards to land my catch. Highly recommended!! And to witness the catch of a sailfish as well was breathtaking.
a lot of people on the boat ,53 (average is 20-30) no drift fishing as announced on web site , anchored fishing. bad fishing day but that is not the captains fault. Locals fishing on back on boat with different lure and own material, supported by "private deckhand" catching more fish. Thanks to our hard working deck hand.
The ocean was ruff, we were advised and the crew Ace and Chelsea ( her first day) were very attentive and constantly helping any way they could. Fishing was OK what we did catch and kept was delicious. Ace was from Jamaica served in our US Navy and is a first class guy. Very knowledgeable. I would do this again with better sea conditions.
The captain and helpers were not very friendly and easily annoyed by people needing help. Two of the 4 of us were extremely sick along with many others on the trip, but too be expected. There weren't many "keepable" fish. As the trip was ending and we were headed back to shore, the captain kept announcing how they work for tips, how much to tip divided by number of crew on the ship, all the forms of payment they accept, oh and again how they work for tips. Went on his tip spiel multiple times through the last 15 min or so of the trip, it was sort of rude, tbh.
Captain and crew were great! The fishing wasn’t terrific but the captain kept moving us to find a better spot!
The view at night was beautiful!!!! Not as many people on boat. Got in later but well worth it. They will fillet any fish for you but where to cook I wasn’t able to find.
I caught a fish! Captain Billy was awesome and his Mates were extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome and safe.
Wife caught a parrot fish and a trigger fish. Wish I caught 1 but maybe our 3rd time will be my charm...
