We did this activity right at the end of the Manatee season. We did see some but the water wasn’t very clear - you could see them when they surfaced. Our guides were excellent and very informative. We ended up seeing lots of wild life when we went on a boat tour. We really enjoyed our morning - thank you

What a great experience! Since it was late in the season, we only saw one manatee but our guide made sure we stayed with her for quite awhile. Such a gentle giant. The wet suits and snorkel equipment looked brand new and well cared for. With the free pictures, the price was well worth it. Only having 6 in the group made it easier to see the manatee without feeling crowded. We would definitely do this again earlier in the season.
We did the small group (6 or less) tour at 6:30am in mid-February. It was a fantastic tour! Starting out that early in the morning got us into the area where the manatees are with no one else around. The guide and captain were excellent. They were knowledgeable and accommodating, and the heater and hot chocolate early in the morning were much appreciated!

What a great experience. Captain Alan and Joanna, the “first mate, boat handler, photographer, etc” were fantastic. They were able to find manatees and give us a bucket-list experience. There were 5 of us in the group celebrating our mother’s 90th birthday. She had the time of her life. The quality of their wetsuits were first class along with their masks and snorkels. With all of us being scuba divers, we usually bring our own, but decided to take a chance and left our mask and snorkels at home. Glad we did. The day we went out was chilly. We appreciated the hot tea and cocoa when we got out. We loved the heater too! Alan was kind enough to help us into the boat if we needed it and also help us out of our wetsuits if needed. These people made the trip fun. I would highly recommend them.

What a great experience! Captain Al and crew were so friendly from my first phone call to exiting after the swim. Captain Al took us directly to the manatees. He provided great information and facts about them. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. The great pictures were an added bonus. Would highly recommend this tour and would use services again

Capt Al and his 1st mate Gabby were amazing. The boat was warm and comfortable and they were very gracious hosts. They took us to a perfect spot within minutes of boarding so we had a lot of time to enjoy watching the Manatees. Gabby did an outstanding job getting the perfect photos.

Great captain and guide. A plus! Albeit off season , we hoped to snorkel with a manatee and we did! Also, swimming in a spring that was full of sand boils , seeing a couple alligator and then a mama and baby manatee were definitely bonuses. Go, you will be glad you did.
I have loved Manatee’s since the age of 4 and have dreamt of a wild encounter with them since. Almost 40 years later my boyfriend wanted to make this dream come true and booked a private guided tour with Manatee Adventures. I had grown up in the Caribbean and was a Marine Park Ranger for years. I have swam with wild dolphins, sharks, whales, turtles you name it and I have swam with them. That didn’t prepare me for what was about to happen on this tour. I was hoping to see a manatee or two that would fulfill my bucket list dream but instead had the best wild swim of my life. The staff was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the manatee’s. They always answered all questions with a smile that let you know how much they really love what they do. From the moment we entered the water and saw these beautiful creatures I knew that this was going to be different. There were so many of them that everywhere you looked you saw two, three, four, five. These were the most curious and playful sea animals that I have ever been in the water with. The rule is that you do not touch them but you don’t have to. I was nudged to many times to count. The Babies would come over and suckle on my hand. I am even more in love with them than I ever was. This was absolute joy for us!! Honestly, I never wanted to get out of the water but it was cold and we had hot chocolate and coffee waiting for us on the boat when we got back on. I will recommend this company and this tour to everyone. We will definitely be back and ask for the same amazing team. When you book this tour, ask for Captain Cris and Guide Crystal. They made it amazing.
Amazing experience to swim with manatees. Highly recommend. There are quite a few operators running the same tour. But I'm so glad we picked this one. We left earlier. That gave us almost 40 minutes in the water all alone with the manatees. Once it got busy, other groups stir up the bottom and reduce visibility. Also, 6 people is really much better than a bigger group. Al (the captain) and Crystal (the guide) are top notch professionals and know the best spots. Also, no extra fee for photos, that's nice!
