We rented a pontoon boat in April from Luther’s. The weather was a bit chilly and windy, but we still had a great time. Family of 4, plenty of room for others in the boat. The crew at Luther’s was great. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and helped us get in our way. We cruised through the harbor area then headed out to the bay. Our next stop was crab island where we anchored and enjoyed the atmosphere. Listen to the crew at Luther’s for the best locations to anchor. We also brought fishing poles and caught fish after fish along the coastline. Great day! Would recommend and return.

This is our fourth year renting pontoons from Luther’s, and we are consistently impressed by the professionalism of the entire crew and deck staff. Our boat is always in pristine condition and ready to go exactly when we arrive. The team is incredibly friendly and courteous, making us feel genuinely appreciated every time we visit. We rented for two days this year, and their service was exceptional. On the first day, as a storm was moving in, they proactively suggested we head back and offered us a credit for the unused time—a truly kind gesture. On the second day, when our pontoon wouldn't start while we were out in the bay, they arrived within 10 minutes with a replacement boat. They moved all of our belongings for us, handled the transition seamlessly, and even extended our rental time to make up for the inconvenience. I will always rent from Luther’s Pontoon because they truly respect their customers and prioritize providing our family with the best experience possible. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Destin!

We had an absolute blast and the staff at Luther's was fantastic! Their location is easily accessible and the boat was ready and immaculate when we arrived. The staff checked on us twice during a storm and allowed us to finish our day on the water once the storm passed. Can't recommend enough. Book directly through them for a seamless experience!

The staff were great. They directed parking and then loaded all our items onto the boat for us. The boat itself was well maintained and very clean. The process was quick and efficient. Highly recommend and will use this company again in the future.

So glad I rented from Luther's. Not only could the price not be beat.. but the team was AMAZING. They moved my reservation out one day for impending rain and even gave us a chance to return the boat because of extremely high winds and choppy waters on the actual day of rental. We even got a GREAT rec to go to the Gulf on Okaloosa Island for lunch. Will DEFNITELY be renting from Luther's on our next Destin trip!

We had an amazing day out on the beautiful ocean and Crab Island with 4 couples. The people at Luther"s Pontoon were great. They made it so easy to just have a fun & stress less day together. They were friendly and so helpful explaining the safety rules and etc. & even blew up our floaties for us. If you forget anything they have a selection of necessities right there to buy. We'll be back! Thank you for a GREAT day!

Great customer service from the entire staff - when we made our reservation at the booth and while embarking on the voyage! Efficient, knowledgeable, friendly. We had 9 guests /friends onboard for a birthday celebration and we motored out to Crab Island for the entire 4 hours, enjoying the sunshine and water. One friend missed the departure and subsequently was ski-dooed directly to our boat as the result of GPS coordinates for our particular vessel! How cool is that! It was a memorable experience and we would like to do it again in the future. The locals rate greatly appreciated! Thank you Luther's!

We had multiple stages of the experience: 1) the on line registration, documents needed and videos were great and easy to use, 2) arrival, was fantastic as one of their "dock hands" met us at the car with a cart to carry our stuff to the boat. They were very helpful and nice, 3) the boat performed well and the instructions were just right-get a 28 footer as you will use the space and it has a better ride on the water, 4) the boat return was good and the dock hand helped get unloaded and back to the car and 5) the bad stuff.... We forgot a few pieces of clothing and shoes in a storage hold under the drivers seat. We immediately (still in the parking lot) called the office however since they flip the boats so quickly, our boat was already back out on the water with another family. They told us that they would meet the next renter at the dock, get our stuff and hold it for us. We showed up the next day to retrieve our things and were now told that the items didnt show up. So, either an employee has some nice things or they did not meet the boat when the second renter returned the boat. Either way, they dropped the ball and basically doubled the cost of the trip. The worst part was how we were treated at the office. I am sure they are busy and lots of people forget things, but they basically denied any knowledge of our call back and dismissed us. Nothing I sad changed her attitude. Boat rental is a service business and good ones cant dismiss customers after committing to an action. There are multiple rental options in Destin and I cant speak to those companies but this one needs customer service training.

We rented a pontoon for 4 hours. I will come back on our next vacation. They were amazing. We pulled up and someone was there to help us park, grabbed all of our things and put them on the boat for us. We filled out some paper work and were on our way. They made this the best and easiest experience!! We had a great time touring the bay, and visiting Crab Island. Upon our return they took care of everything!! 10 out of 10!!

Excellent check in process. Followed the link and filled out all waivers ahead of time, as instructed. From the time we got out of the car until we were backing out of the boat slip was around 10 minutes. Dock hands were exceptional and courteous. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

Went with a party of 7 rented a platoon boat. The workers treated as soon as we arrived and helped us on the boat. We had one child in a wheelchair that was easy to put on the boat with the help of the workers they even found a life jacket that fit them. Gave us instructions and told us were to go Would rent from them again

I can’t compare to the other vendors, but we really enjoyed our experience. The seats were comfortable, and it was just enough covering to block the sun. We opted for add-ons: wave mat and basketball goal. Both were worth it. I would also suggest bringing your straw or beach hats. The company also sells them if needed. Life jackets were provided for the group. Overall great experience.

We have rented from other companies in Destin but Luther’s was the best by far. Their boats are the nicest, they run and drive great. Parking by the dock is so convenient. The crew is amazing. They have carts to help load and unload your belongings for you. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend. We will not rent from anyone else from now on.

Great time. Half day rental for us was plenty. Luthers is very accommodating in your preferences. Great location to take off from at Harbor Walk. Great personnel assist you with loading and u loading coolers, beach bags, etc both coming and leaving. Bay is beautiful to boat in. So big you have no problems avoiding other boating traffic. Whether Crab Island Party area is in season or out take advantage of anchoring to get out of the boat in the shallow waters. Few boating sites were rented from have ever included gas. This 1 does in rental price.

We love Luther’s! This is our second year to use them and will continue as long as we can. They are always so friendly, helpful and courteous to us. My 75y/o disabled mother went this year and one young man was so caring to her needs and when one of our grandchildren were having a reaction to jellyfish they were to helpful in getting us to what we were needing to get her care.

Luther's is the real deal. Super friendly staff, clean and well maintained boats, and very thorough in explaining the rules and boat. Reasonably priced. They'll bring a cart and help you unload your car and load your boat and upon return will do the same. They even inflated our 6 water tubes we brough. Book online to guarantee your boat, the time you want to leave and the time you want to rent the boat. Suggest renting early so you can anchor at your space of choice on Crab Island which is just a short 10 minute boat ride from their dock. Be sure to bring a cooler and snacks if you don't want to purchase the drink or food packages from them. I would not hesitate to recommend Luther's to anyone.

This experience was great!!! We rented 2 boats for my family to celebrate retirement, birthday, and graduation. Luther's was great! The boats were spacious, comfortable, and affordable. Everyone loved it!!! The whole process was first class, starting with the first initial phone call to book, the follow-up, the parking...everything. If you are hesitating...don't, call them. Also ask for Michelle and her husband if you need captains! Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

13 years of renting a pontoon boat from Luther’s without any problems. The best thing about renting is the consistency. We know what to expect and they deliver. From unloading our stuff and carrying it to the boat and then carrying it back to the truck. We will return.
