Captain Bill was great! He grew up here so knows all the ins and outs. Showed us everything plus added ecology notes and side stories. Such a splendid introduction to the Everglades. Worth every penny.
Capt. Bill is a wonder of info and history of the Everglades. Especially with the heat wave now the early morning trip was the only way to go. Alligators, hawks, egrets, herons, turtles, and others...wonderful, mystical adventure. Will definitely do it again with Bill and a small group.

Had a great trip guided by JJ. He was a very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting guide. He sensed that we were interested in the birds and plants and made an effort to tell us about them. The ride was tons of fun and so beautiful! Two hours went by quickly!
Captain JJ was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation and also knew where all the gators would be sunning themselves. This was a great tour and two hours was plenty of time. One caveat though, the airboat supposedly holds nine people...apparently four on each of the bench seats and one next to Captain JJ. We had eight average size adults and it was fairly uncomfortable for the seat with the four adults. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this tour.
Captain Bill Ferris was generous in sharing his deep knowledge of the Everglades. Three family members took a two-hour tour on one of the coldest days (30's-40's) in the Everglades, and therefore much of the wildlife was "hiding" despite the clear skies. This was not the fault of the captain. We saw three alligators, lots of herons, non-native but beautiful swamp hens, ibis, coots, etc. and a rare siting of an otter. In cold weather, dress for staying warm, with many layers, hats, gloves, and windbreakers.

We were celebrating my sons' 16th birthday and Captain Bill delivered far beyond our expectations, allowing us to see multiple alligators up close! Absolute nightmare scheduling something through Viator. They send me the ticket once I show up after driving 6 hours and paying two nights to stay in hotel owner told me it's overbooked luckily he called his buddy and he stepped in. for owner and his business five stars for Viator zero Stars .do yourself favor go to the owner's page and schedule your visit.
JJ was great! He managed to find a giant male as well as a couple females. We also saw alot of birds and ducks. The ride was smooth and quite thrilling as we glided over the tall grass.
We booked a 2 hour tour in October. This was our first ever airboat ride. So glad we went first thing in the morning. Sunrise was amazing and Captain Bill really took the time to show us the Everglades, alligators, fish, and birds. He was super knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He even took us on some grass runs when my wife asked if we could do that. The whole trip was amazing!
Great family friendly fun!! Captain Bill was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable, fun and safe! Our daughter ages 10 and 12 loved looking for gators and sliding through the Everglades! Next time we are in the area we will reach out to Captain Bill to do this tour or one of his other many offerings! Thanks for a great morning!
Captain Bill was amazing. He knew the area so well and taught us about water management as well as facts about the gators and other animals. Recommend this tour 100 times over. A person in our group was very reluctant to go, but by the end of the 2 hours, she was beaming and very happy she went.
Captain Bill reached out to us to start our tour earlier in order to beat the bad weather. He had great communication the whole time, and our entire family enjoyed experiencing the wildlife in the Everglades with him. We have already recommended him to many of our friends. Just finished our first experience in the Everglades onboard with JJ and my family and I had a blast! Not only were we able to see wildlife, capture wonderful photos and videos, but we also were truly inspired by JJ’s knowledge of the entire ecosphere of the Everglades. A truly magical experience made even more special when JJ spotted a Blue Heron who had injured its wing. We watched as he waded into the grassland and rescued the Blue Heron and secured it so that he could transport it to a wildlife hospital after our trip. Thanks JJ for a wonderful adventure and for your gracious and caring attitude. Highly recommend!
It was “ok”… some things were out of operator control, the biggest being the dry season drought did not give us much area to see. The owner did refund a portion of the trip as a result which we really appreciated. The 3 is based on our experience on the tour itself.. we felt like we were “the third tour of the day”.. no effort to slow or stop so we could take pictures of the few alligators we did see. Little enthusiasm… we felt like our captain did not really want to be there. It might have been a 3x a day thing for him but it was a once in a lifetime for us and pretty underwhelming experience.
Booked this last minute on our flying visit to Miami and Capt Bill couldn’t have been more helpful! Our guide was Capt JJ who was so friendly and knowledgable and we just had the most magical time. The Everglades are simply stunning and the birds and the alligators we saw were fantastic. Could recommend this trip more!

Couldn't ask for a better trip this morning with Capt Bill. He was funny, informative and really showed us a great tour. Lots of Alligators, some Rosette Spoonbills and lots of beautiful scenery. Definitely would recommend going on this private tour!
Our family was glad we did this instead of the more commercial boat tour with all the people packed on it. It was delightful having a private tour and we really had a great time. Captain Bill was a very knowledgeable tour guide and we felt totally safe. We saw many gators and beautiful birds and learned some interesting things. We did 1.5 hours which was just perfect. The ear protection kept the noise at a comfortable level. Highly recommend!
This was a great tour. Captain JJ was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable. Our route was different fr the more commercial tours. We didn’t see another boat in our two hours. Saw lots of alligators and birds. Highly recommended
We booked our trip as a birthday gift for our future son-in-law. Bill, the owner, was very good about keeping us updated on weather conditions as we had a two hour ride to the departure point. He also sent us excellent directions. JJ was our boat captain, and he was great. We saw lots of alligators (including Harold, a twelve-footer) and learned about their habitat, lifespan, etc. There were many birds as well; roseate spoonbills, herons, ibis, etc. He also shared information about the Everglades, showed us some of the private camps, and explained their history. A very interesting and worthwhile trip!

What I loved most this is a private tour boat so you aren't on a boat with 10-15 strangers like other tour companies.

Captain Dan knows the Eastern Florida Everglades like the back of his hand. He was able to Spot Alligators with ease and seemed excited as a kid when he spotted one. His airboat Provided a much smoother ride than i was expecting and the family had a great time.

We had an amazing airboat ride yesterday with JJ as our guide!! He was incredibly Knowledgeable about the area and made the experience both fun and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour private tour of the Everglades with captain Bill’s company. Our captain for the day was JJ and he found us 5 alligators including a whopper at about 12 foot long. We saw numerous birds on our trip including a couple of Osprey’s and other wildlife as well as the usual informative stops on the tour. We went at the start of January on a 12.30-2.30pm trip and I was worried beforehand that we needed to go in the morning to see lots of wildlife but that clearly wasn’t the case. We were advised by text the day before the trip by text that we could bring drinks and snacks with us and that we should bring sunglasses and long trousers (pants) and a sweater as it would feel chilly even though it was 24 degrees Celcius. Ear defenders are provided which reduce the noice from the engine and are also handy to keep baseball hat on your head when the boat is going at speed.

We were so glad that we booked this tour. Ellie was a great guide.... informative, fun, friendly, and professional. The start location was easy to find and it was fun to swim from the beach out to the reef. We even saw a nurse shark which made my daughter's day. I would definitely recommend this tour.
It was fascinating to be gliding across the grasses and water in the boat! We love to see wild life and we were lucky enough to see three alligators and many birds.
