We had a beautiful morning on the water with Albie. The water was calm. We learned a lot about dolphins, manatees, mangroves and birds. We got lucky and got to see a mama and baby dolphin jump right next to our kayak. It was a quick hi and bye as they popped up far away after that. Very cool experience and enjoyed the tour!
Julie was a great guide! Knowledgeable and informative of the water, fauna, flora and area history. Nice paddle through the mangroves. Be prepared to paddle in the open water, against the breeze. Added $10 for better backrest was comfortable. Enjoyable and informative.
Had a great time, Albe was a fun guide and had tons of great facts and conversation. Loved learning things about the mangroves and other Florida biology!
The trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide, Julia, was very knowledgeable and made the 2 hours go by quick sharing details about the mangroves and all of the wildlife we saw. It was a perfect day on the water!
It was an outstanding adventure Our tour guide Albie was very knowledgeable, extremely professional realistic down to earth and extremely passionate about the area local ecosystems! Our 2 hour tour was amazing
This was a great trip! Seen bald eagles and stingrays and learned a lot about the plants and animals in the area!
Such a great experience. Julie is a steward of the mangroves and their in inhabitants. She helped us see a manatee mom and baby, dolphins, conches, bald eagles and so much more. This 75 year old was enchanted.
Nice easy kayak trip with knowledgeable guide. Occasionally the guides audio would cut out, but that was a bonus feature that was extremely helpful to hear the guide Julie. Julie was a 10 out of 10-she is very passionate about the environment and wildlife.
Expect to get your butt a little wet. Wear flop flops or water shoes. Julia was a great guide, very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about the ecosystem! Sadly we didn't see any manatee but kinda knew we would be lucky if we did. Would recommend for the price and took about 2 hours. There is free parking at the launch site.
This was a very educational tour of the area aquatic flora and fauna. I would strongly recommend this trip.
Julie our guide was so interesting and knowledgeable. I learned a ton about oyster beds and the nature we encountered along the way.
Excellent Guide. Very knowledgeable. When we come back to Florida in December we will do a manatee kayak tour with the same guide Julie
We had a fantastic kayaking tour with Albie who was very knowledgeable about the environment. The kayaking was at a good pace for us
Our guide was late to arrive, which meant nothing was set up. She did keep us longer at the end to make up for the very late start. She was knowledgeable but hard to hear if you were not one of the first two kayaks by her.
Beautiful experience. Alby was super passionate and knowledgeable about the marine life and mangrove's. Highly recommend!
Great time, totally organized, learned tons of stuff, saw some great wild life. Julie super passionate about preserving the ecosystem and how we can help. Highly recommend, don’t have to be an expert at rowing or kayaking
Thank you so much, Julie! We had an incredible private tour... we would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Julie is the owner and is so knowledgeable about all the marine life in area. She was also very patient with us, two inexperienced kayakers! We saw stingrays, a beautiful great blue heron, the oyster beds and so many other things up close, and it was so interesting to learn about how man and the hurricanes have affected local marine life and the mangroves. This is a don't miss experience for anyone interested in an eco-tour vs. the hustle and bustle of the beach scene.
Experience wasincredibly fun. We took it at a pace that anyone maintain after two hours. I was not sore. We had a great opportunity to explore the mangroves and see wildlife. The guide was amazing. I highly recommend her. Call direct for military discount.
Julie was our guide. Very knowledgeable about the area and the afternoon was very relaxing and enjoyable!!
Julie is great! She is super knowledgeable about all things flora and fauna for the region; we learned so much. She also gave great recommendations for where to stop for lunch and baked goods in the nearby Greek village. The paddling was very doable for any age (preteen and older).
Our guide Julie was friendly and very knowledgeable - we had a great time - i was surprised how affordable the tour was
Julie was an excellent eco tour guide! Thanks to Julie’s local fauna knowledge, we were able to enjoy being amongst friendly dolphins, flamingos, sandpipers, egrets and even tiny night bats. Also, a great shelling experience, but recommend you wear water shoes.
Awesome experience and very educational! Julia our guide is very knowledgeable regarding wildlife! super cool to see the area
The tour was a great introduction to the ecosystem and a fun activity for all. Our group included individuals from 10 to 70+. The paddling was easy for all. We saw dolphins, rays, jumping schools of fish, oyster beds and a variety of bird life. Julie was great! Highly recommended for all.
Don’t expect to see a lot of wildlife. We saw one dolphin and one mullet. It was educational learning about the type of wildlife that use the mangroves as their nursery. And it was an easy paddle, no current, no waves, lots of sun. Unfortunately, my kayak had a faulty seat support so I had a difficult time for the 2 1/2 hours without adequate support for my back. The guide noticed about a half hour before the end of the trip and provided me with a couple foam inserts to help my low back.
We had an amazing time on our family kayak adventure. Our tour guide Julie was the best- fun, super knowledgeable and made our experience a time to forever remember. Highly recommended
I went kayaking today with Julie and a small group. It was amazing! We learned about Tarpon Springs and the history of the sponge industry, and we also got to see a whole lot of manatees. Julie is a great leader and tour guide. She’s a lot of fun, but she make sure that you Are safe. It’s obvious that she really cares about the ecosystem and knows a lot about the flora and fauna. I would go again! You don’t have to know too much about kayaking, but we did kayak for about two hours and went 3 miles. I am definitely tired, but the pace was slow and we had very little wind.
Julie was a wonderful guide! She even allowed me to bring Cedar Ann! We had a great time! She was very good with a lot of local information about the mangroves and seagrass and the wildlife that lives there!
Julie was an amazing guide. Her passion for the exo system was thrilling. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone of any skill level
First off we got to experience a once in a lifetime! It was only my husband and myself with our wonderful guide Julie. A passing boat informed us they thought there were Manatees nearby so we paddled to the spot. We saw many manatees who were mating(?) or something and we couldn’t tell how many were in the frenzy. Many times they came up to our kayaks even passing underneath as if checking us out we saw 1 or 2 with their babies lifting their heads above water. It was such a Magical experience that the rest of the ride seemed uneventful. We circled around the mangrove and When we got back to the same spot, there was not a manatee in sight. I believe things happen for a reason, and for some reason we were put there to witness the spectacular event.
I love it, the views were gorgeous, are guide Julie was amazing, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this eco tour in Tarpon Springs and warmly thank our guide.
Great echo tour on the Anclote river. Julie, our tour guide, was exceptional. Highly recommend this tour The scenery and wildlife were beautiful
We had a great time. We were a little nervous at first but it turned out to be a great time. Polarized sunglasses recommended.
Very peaceful and educational experience. Julie did an amazing job. We were able to see stingray. I’m definitely coming back.
Took this tour with my husband and our four teenage kids. We all had a lot of fun and saw so much wildlife! Julie is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, as well as the wide variety of plants and animals we encountered. We were fortunate to see some rarely-spotted birds, and even some tiny bioluminescent jellyfish! Highly recommend this tour!!
An enjoyable leisurely amble around the river, whilst the host pointed out the various wildlife and shared her local knowledge. Saw some mating sting rays and dolphins close up.
Very relaxing experience. Loved learning about the local ecosystem. Julie did a great job. Would have loved to see a manatee.
Very wonderful. Julie was an excellent tour guide. We saw dolphins, manatees and an eagle among other species.
The weather was cooperative, and Julie our guide was knowledgeable and excellent with managing our small group of 6 (ourselves and 2 other couples). The parking area was great as was the private launch area. We saw the sponge docks on the water away from the tourist crowds as well as abundant aquatic life. The mangrove areas were quiet and the power boats at a minimum as this was a Tuesday morning excursion. Learning was also achieved as a result of the experience of our guide Julie.
Our guy Julie was great with a great sense of humor and it was such a fun experience. Thanks Julie 😊
Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. The trip was beautiful. We saw dolphins, a stingray, a bald eagle, a great blue heron and many other birds while learning about the ecosystem. Take this trip!
Our guide Julie loves and lives outdoors. She has acquired a lifetime of knowledge about the environment and easily relates it to us yakers on the 2 hour tour among the Anclote River mangroves. Travel was at an easy pace with time to ask questions.
We enjoyed the unrushed relaxing paddle around the bay. Very informative experience regarding the history of the area and sea life.
Amazing paddle. Coco and I had a blast. Thanks so very much. Our guide was exceptional knowledge about our FL eco system.
Seeing dolphins and jumping fish and a knowledgeable and down to earth trip with Julie. I would recommend and Julie gave us a great regal to Rustie Belly’s for a marvelous seafood dinner
Fantasic tour. We saw a variety of birds and were fortunate enough to see two dolphins. Our guide Julie was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out many little things about our surroundings. Her love for the space was evident. It was a beautiful leisurely paddle that I enjoyed and would highly recommend.
Warm, cloudy day with light winds was perfect for a paddle. Pace was easy enough for me to handle a single kayak. Julie is a great guide!
Austin was a great tour guide. excited and full of eco info we went thru a dew different channels to see the different types of mangroves an many oyster beds. even dolphin! lots of flying mullet as well. fun stuff
Easy to find launching location and park safely. Jules is friendly and knowledgeable guide. She realized we were all seniors and kept the pace accordingly. She pointed out wildlife and plants along the way with info about environmental concerns of the area. Since it was an evening tour, we were able to watch the bats take flight under a bridge which was very exciting. The kayaks used was of good quality, clean and well maintained. Definitely good value for the price.
