2 Hour Private Dolphin And Sightseeing Tour Shell Island

We had a great time on our boat today but what really made it the best was Dalton. He is a great young man with a lot of knowledge of the area and he’s just so laid back. What a joy it was to have him as our Captain. As soon as we left the dock, Dalton noticed a dolphin and off we went to explore the fascinating creatures. Then we went out into the Gulf and saw a shark, another dolphin and a Lamborghini jet boat. Then we headed back in but not without stopping in a little cove to do a little snorkeling. Even when we headed back in, we saw more dolphins. What a great experience for all of us. Thank you Dalton for a memorable excursion.

Captain Dalton was awesome. We saw more dolphins than we ever have before and enjoyed walking on shell island.

A perfect day with Capt Dalton and Beachy Boat Rentals! I have taken lots of trips with different companies and they were hands down the best. I had my 2 small children and my 80 year old Mother with me and Dalton helped out so much. We saw Dolphins and sea Turtles. Got to spend time on Sea Shell Island and find shells. I wish I would have booked 4 hours vs 2 hours. Will definitely use them again next year!

We had an amazing experience with Beachy Boat Rentals, and a big part of it was our captain, Darin! We took a private boat trip to Shell Island for dolphin watching and sunset views, and Darin made the entire experience memorable for our family. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, especially with our kids. He knew exactly where to navigate to give us the best chance of seeing dolphins, while making sure we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the trip. He also made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy Shell Island and timed the trip perfectly so we didn’t miss the beautiful Panama City Beach sunset on the way back. If you’re looking for a boat rental, Shell Island trip, or dolphin watching experience in Panama City Beach, I highly recommend Beachy Boat Rentals, and definitely ask for Captain Darin if he’s available!

We had an amazing time. Our captain was Captain Dalton and we also had the pleasure of having a second captain ride with us, Captain Skipper. Both were very knowledgeable about the wild life and the area surrounding the bay and gulf. We had 2 adults and 2 14 yr olds. We all enjoyed this experience. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, several verities of birds, and many different fish while snorkeling. All in all, a great way to spend a day or afternoon on the water in PCB. Be sure to ask for Captain Dalton!!

Our tour guide Dalton was great. He was extremely friendly and made sure we were able to experience exactly what we wanted with our time. I wish I would have booked a longer trip because 2 hours goes fast! But we were able to see Dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, and even found some cool shells. Dalton even got out to snorkel with us to look for shells. Great tour.

Had a fantastic time using Beachy Boat Rentals for a private 2 hour boat cruise. We saw multiple dolphins and had plenty of time to explore Shell Island. Our captain was very knowledgeable of the area and provided a great experience.

We saw dolphins, a turtle, and beautiful island, and received seashells as a gift from the captain. The captain was amiable and friendly. We enjoyed it very much! If you want to collect seashells yourself, it’s a good idea to wear a swimsuit under your clothes.

What an amazing, beautiful experience, peaceful breezy ride magical sunset the 5 o’clock ride was so dreamy. I do recommend. and Captain Dalton was the absolute best so much fun gave us a real local experience made us feel like home. I highly recommend asking for Captain Dalton for your ride. We can’t wait to book our next trip when we return!!

We took a tour with Dalton today. We had a great time! Our guide was friendly and knew the area well. He asked us what we preferred to do. He took us to see dolphins which we did. Then sea turtles which were more elusive. Then to snorkel on shell island. We found sand dollars and sea urchins! Our guide got in and helped us. We were a party of 4 and loved the privacy.

Great captain! Really informative and super friendly! Such a great experience, but if you have long hair I recommend to take a ponytail holder or something for your hair.

Loved it! captain Dalton was courteous and knowledgeable. We could see dolphins and sea turtles and the captain also got us beautiful sea shells as a souvenir to take home. Definitely going to do it again and highly recommended!

Last minute outing for FathersDay. Easy to book. Host was friendly and Captain was nice, informative and an all around good guide. I would definitely book again!

The private experience was well worth the money. The boat was very nice and comfy and is obviously well maintained. Dalton was our Captain and he was great with our young kids and made sure we saw plenty of dolphins and had a great time on Shell Island. We will for sure book with this company again! We certainly had a better time than all those people crammed together on the “cheaper” dolphin options

I enjoyed seeing dolphins, turtles, a sting ray, crabs, sand dollars, a sea urchin, etc. I walked across shell island (about 5 minutes). I enjoyed the trip without being around extra people. Captain Dalton was very informative and taught me how to locate marine life, which helped me to see a dolohin and several turtles from my beach front balcony for the rest of my trip.

Tanner didn’t even talk and acted like he didn’t even want to be there, I know we were late buy 15 minutes… I would not recommend him but we did tip him even though it was horrible and we didn’t even go to shell island…..

With an almost 5 star review on TripAdvisor we were disappointed by this tour. Mind you we were 10 mins late due to some issues, but our Captain just seemed annoyed and didn’t even really talk to us at all. He had called me at around 5 mins late and asked where we were. I told him we had just pulled in, but it turns out our GPS took us to the next parking lot which we did not realize so that made us a few more minutes late. We saw no dolphins which was fine, the water was choppy and I know the tour operators are not able to control that. The tour operator didn’t even point out Shell Island or anything as we were going around it. I do realize that he was there to be our boat driver and that he did, but that was all that he did. Nothing above and beyond that. We booked this thinking it would be cool because we never did a private tour before, but if I knew what I didn’t know I would have just booked with Sea Screamer.

The directions to the meeting place were not the greatest. When we did finally find the area for Beachy Boat Rentals it was not the same area where the parking area that our boat was docked at. Other than that it was a great experience. Our captain was Tanner and he got us to a pod of dolphins with babies. We followed them for some time. We also got to see dolphins playing in the wake of a large barge. It was a great overall experience. I would say for anyone that gets sea sick make sure you take something before hand because the water is choppy at times and you are in a pontoon so you really feel the ocean.

Our guide, Zach, did an excellent job bribing the dolphins to show up right on time. He also got us up close to Shell Island so we could walk on the beach and collect a few shells. This was a very enjoyable experience that we highly recommend!

We saw lots of dolphins! We were excited that our captain used to live in Fort Wayne, IN where we are from. He was great! We loved that it was just us and didn’t have a big boat with a large crowd. He made it more personalized to what our expectations were on the tour and we give it a 10/10!

We had a great time. The water was a bit choppy due to wind, but we enjoyed ourselves. The kids are still talking about how it was the best boat trip. We saw two dolphins and toured around the bay, it was great.

Great 2 hour trip. We saw the dolphins, and enjoyed the beautiful blue water. We traveled in March, so the water was chilly, but the kids still jumped in for a few minutes. This is private, with the entire boat for your group.

This was the best experience ever. Captain Harry was awesome and worked very hard to show us dolphins and other Marine life. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip! Derrick did an amazing job communicating with us on cold weather and helping facilitate a day change.

The boat ride was very relaxing. The captain was on a radio with captains of other boats to help insure that we were able to see the dolphins and we saw lots of them.

We got stuck in traffic and was late to our appointment time, and Zack waited patiently for us. It was a total of four of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The boat was very nice and clean. The Private Sunset cruise is relaxing and cooler. We saw some dolphins and a manaray jump out of water. It was a fun 2 hrs. Our guide Zack told us things about the area.
