2 Hour Group Surf Lesson In Miami Beach

Amazing experience ! Even if the sea was quite wavesless, “coach” Bryant taught us the base steps for surfer beginners. And he was absolutely able to live a great experience and let us having some fun. What I suggest instead to the back office is to find out the best period for surfing and considering the high tides (with whom there are no waves….)

Great location, no seaweed, clear water. Beware of crabs fish and stingrays, they are beautiful. The instructor was helpful, with zero prior experience in any kind of sport I learned how to stand on the board by the end of the lesson

I caught my first wave and had an amazing experience! The instructor was brilliant — very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything thoroughly, making me feel comfortable and confident in the water. The waves were very calm that day, which made it the perfect environment for learning. I never thought I'd be standing up on a surfboard so quickly. Highly recommend this lesson to anyone wanting to try surfing for the first time!

The instructor seemed annoyed that he was the only one teaching 6 of us. While I enjoyed surfing, I felt rushed and that the instructor didn’t really want to be there. It may have been more enjoyable to have had two instructors.

I had a fantastic time learning how to surf with Bryant! He strikes the perfect balance between clear, supportive instruction for beginners and keeping the experience fun and full of laughter. Surfing with Stephen was an absolutely amazing experience! He was incredibly informative, hilarious, and one of the best motivators I’ve ever had. We literally flew in from Georgia to do this, and it was worth every single cent. Stephen was always right there in the water cheering me on, reminding me that I’ve got this and that encouragement made all the difference. The energy, the patience, the laughs, and the confidence he poured into the lesson made it unforgettable. I learned so much, had so much fun, and would 100% do it all over again. If you’re thinking about taking surfing lessons, Stephen is the one.

Our instructor was super friendly and professional – we felt comfortable right away. The session started with a quick warm-up workout, and then we went straight into the water with the boards. Unfortunately, the ocean was completely calm that day – there were no real waves to actually surf. Of course, that's nothing anyone can control, but it meant we mostly paddled around and practiced balance without really standing up on the board. A bit disappointing in that sense, but still a fun and relaxed day with a great vibe and a cool instructor!

his was hands down one of the best experiences we had in Miami! The 2-hour group surf lesson was perfectly structured — we started with a fun and informative land lesson where we learned all the basics, and then hit the waves feeling confident and excited. The instructors were super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about surfing. They gave each person personal tips in the water and made sure everyone felt safe, even if it was their first time. The vibe was really relaxed and supportive, and the beach location was stunning — warm water, gentle waves, and great energy all around. By the end of the session, we were standing up on the boards and catching waves! We didn’t expect to learn so much and have such a blast doing it. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Miami — whether you’re a total beginner or just want to improve your skills. Can’t wait to come back for another session!

Unfortunately I have to leave a 1 star. We had booked our surf lesson a couple days in advance and confirmed the lesson the night before to make sure we were all set. She confirmed we were all set and sent me the direct contact for the surf coach should anything arise. We drove over an hour to Miami Beach for this lesson and didn’t hear any changes. When we arrived we sent our location to our surf coach Micheal to confirm we were in the correct location. He said he wasn’t able to coach us today due to a schedule issue that he made the owners aware of hours ago. I understand issues may arise, but if you knew hours before our lesson, why didn’t we hear anything? So my disappointment is the lack of transparency with the conflict so we didn’t waste our time driving so far for this lesson when they knew michael was unable to coach us.

The surf lesson was terminated early. It ‘s a shame. It’s a little bit expensive for the time . But the place is beautiful for surfing .

Since I booked the experience they were very communicative. IG was something totally new for me and I took the chance! My instructor was Sebastian, and he not only gave us a great introduction to what surfing really was about, but he was there making turns for every single one of us, helping us and sharing his with us important tricks to actually stand up on our boards! The experience was so good that I just bought my own surfboard! Thank you!

We booked this as a family activity, and it was a hit with everyone! Stephen’s tips made all the difference. My son stood up on his very first wave, which was an incredible feeling!

Stephen did a great job as an instructor. The whole group were beginners, and everyone was able to stand up and surf a little by the end of the lesson. With a small group, everyone had fun!

The experience is poor. I got to the meeting site on time and the instructor didn’t show up or respond to his phone. After a couple minutes of waiting, I was informed that there’s a incident and the instructor couldn’t make it, the operator offered me a refund and free lesson, yet they never contacted me again about rescheduling the lesson.

I had a lot of fun and learned some new tips. Waves in South Beach were a little small but good for beginner. Great instructor!

We were two first-timers, and were a bit nervous, but shouldn't have worried!! Our instructor talked about the ocean and gave safety instructions, and we had soft boards for beginners. Then we went to the water and boom! magic happened! Super recommended!

Trying to surf has always been on my bucket list, and now at 60 I took my first lesson. I had a blast and learned so much about the whole sport, felt very integrated in the group. Can't wait to do it again!

We took the 2PM lesson, the weather was fantastic and the ocean was warm - We had a great experience learning the basics and trying to catch some waves - it was our first time surfing! Patient instructors!

I absolutely loved this experience. The whole team was so nice and amazing! Perfect experience for beginner surfers! The waves are the perfect size, so you do not need to worry. Highly recommend if you’re thinking about booking.

Juan was an excellent instructor. He was very personable and gave good feedback. I’m a middle-aged man and had a harder time getting the hang of things, but managed to stand up and catch one wave. My 15 year old son learned very quickly and caught many waves. I would recommend the location and this instructor to friends and family.

The instructor was great and friendly but even putting in my height and weight when booking they had a board for me that was too small so it was very unstable and my feet were hanging off the back to try and keep the nose out of the water. Even the instructor said that board was a little too small for me so it made it hard. We were fine with the stretching and all but we also had to do workouts or “warmups” which consisted of push ups, squats, jogging, planks, sit ups and more. The meeting place is at least 1/4 mile from the water and the “cart” to pull the boards had to blown out tires so we had to help push the cart. The instructor said he had requested a new one or new wheels but hasn’t gotten any. The waves were almost non existent. Half way through they have you get out and do more exercises so out of the two hours you only spend one in the water.

Juan is my surfing instructor, he’s one of the best instructor I’ve ever met! He’s really patient, skilled, and knowledgeable. I had a great time practice my surfing skills and had fun in the sea!!!!

I had a reservation for 2 hours to surf lesson. I came to the place but the instructor never showed up. We called aviators and didn’t help us. I need the refund the money.

Super fun session! Would have been helpful if the tour operator instructed attendees to wear proper clothing but the instructor did have extra wetsuits for us. The instructor got us out on the water quickly and for a tourist-attraction (ie not super detailed instruction) the lesson made for great surf experience.

Just the waves and the conversation I had with the tour guide, for the most part the people are amazing to begin with
