Captain Mark was awesome and was enthused to charter us around. He seemed ti be just as excited as us to see the dolphins, which speaks volumes. Worth every penny!

Itinerary
After boarding your cruise, you'll travel out in the bay to see pods of friendly Atlantic Bottle-nose dolphins. Your captain will bring you to areas where these dolphins spend their day feeding, playing and raising there young. Just outside Tampa's downtown is the nursery for Tampa Bay's dolphin population where mothers and calves frolic the day away. Your guide will explain the daily life and habits of the dolphin on this 1.5-hour cruise. When your guides spot the pods of dolphins, the boat will stop within 30 feet (10 meters) or less as the guides have ways to get them to come right to the boats. Keep your cameras ready as you will see dolphins closer than you ever thought. You will be a master of dolphin spotting by the end of your cruise! After seeing the dolphins you'll head back to to downtown Tampa, cruising the channels and river and learning about the great city of Tampa.
Our tours are a once in a lifetime experience. The captains spot the dolphins every trip. Keep your cameras at the ready as the dolphins will be closer than you ever thought. Your tour starts out taking you past the homes of the rich and famous on you way to the bay were the dolphins live.

Mark was so amazing. He knew so many interesting facts about dolphins and the area. I had a genuinely amazing time. We were able To stumble upon a group of 4-6 dolphins due to Mark's amazing, tracking skills. It was breathtaking!
Directions are nebulous. No identifying #3 dock where you are to board. Worse thing was it was cancelled due to weather and VIATOR did not inform us
What a great experience! Our guide Mark was so knowledgeable and was so great about getting us the best views of the dolphins!
Did not attend the dolphin sightseeing. It was canceled by your own company, I assumed due to weather.
You have to really look. These are dolphins in thr wild so they don't jump out of the water next to the boat, but you see them at a distance frolicking around in the water.
To be patient and enjoy the outing! Mark was very communicative throughout the trip. He was very knowledgeable where the dolphins will appear. Be very patient and I’m sure he will find an area where you able to see these fascinating creatures in there inhabitant
It was very good Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful. He supplied water and looked for dolphins. It was very enjoyable
Mark told us all about the beautiful houses. He stopped at many little dolphin alcoves. He never gave up trying to find us some wild dolphins. Then we saw a mom and baby. I’m pretty sure he willed them into existence so we could see them .
This was a lovely experience. Mark was such a nice tour guide and shared some fun facts along the tour. We were able to spot a few dolphins, and he was patient to stay in that one spot so we could continue to watch them. Of course you are not guaranteed to see dolphins, and even if you don’t, it’s worth just a chill boat ride.
Amazing, I missed the schedule during the morning while the captain accepted us during the afternoon. Very nice view and experie
Our guide was absolutely amazing! We had dolphins actually come right up to the boat. He knows exactly where to go and makes the ride so fun!
Due to the rain our boat tour was cancelled; and we were all looking forward to doing this tour , we travelled from Arizona on a family vacay, and this was on our agenda for the day, hopefully we get a full refund being there was no error on our part.
Hard to find and hard to park location. Only saw a dolphin from about 100 yards away.
Guide had a lot of knowledge about dolphins. He knew points where dolphins converged. He also pointed out historical points.
Well the dolphins didnt really cooperate, but our guide was really great and the tour ended up being the highlight of our day. Loved it.
Mark are guide was amazing and we saw lots of dolphins jumping and playing !!!
We had an amazing trip seeing the dolphins today. Mark was an amazing captain! We saw dolphins so many dolphins
What experience the cruise was canceled
A really nice day out on the water. Great views and Mark the captain/tour guide brought a lot of enthusiasm and knowledge on the trip. A true value tour
It was a Great dolphin cruise to take because it had a top for shade on a hot day. Mark was our Captain and made it very interesting. Even though we just saw a baby dolphin from afar, and no dolphins wanted to play in thr boats wake, if was a very nice day to be on the water. Thank you Mark for the warm welcome and narrated facts and music!
We enjoyed the tour with our grandchildren great memories
It was good. Wish we got to more dolphins
The captain was very entertaining. Gave us some history of the surrounding area. Showed is some sites. Explained a lot about dolphins. We actually saw about 10 dolphins.
I had such a great time on the dolphin watching cruise. The guide, ( I can’t remember if his name was Mark or Martin), was very nice and knowledgeable. I learned a lot of interesting facts about dolphins. The boat ride was really relaxing and it was nice seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat :)
Captain Mark is wonderful! Whether you see dolphins or other marine mammals or not, it's a wonderful and relaxing boat ride with interesting facts and great music!
It was a great experience we will do it again my kids had so much fun .the gentleman was very nice too we enjoyed the music too.thank you very much sir
Mark has a great playlist… and he was right! The dolphins 🐬 love Earth, Wind, and Fire 🔥 The kids enjoyed themselves as well!
It was canceled due to weather I was really excited to go I hope my money gets refunded like I was told it would’ be
Fun trip out looking for dolphins! Captain Mark was very knowledgeable about the area and dolphin life and very entertaining! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great experience. Tour guide was great and loved seeing all the dolphins in the bay. Wish it was longer but that was partially due to a marine warning that day.
What a beautiful sight!!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. I got to see dolphins close up for the first time. Price wasn’t to expensive and just well worth it for my family.
There were not many dolphins out at this time too many boats around was able to see one while it was by the sea wall
That the pick up place is at #3 across from the Colombia Cafe. There was no definitive signage for the Dolphin Cruise.
We didn’t get to see many dolphins. We did see one at the beginning of the trip. We a a good guide who did well in narrating the trip. We expected to see a few more dolphin.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic dolphin tour! We saw so many dolphins throughout the trip, which made the experience truly memorable. It was also a great way to see the city from the water and enjoy views you simply can’t get from land. Our captain was professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job navigating the boat. You could tell he was very experienced and knew exactly where to go to give us the best chance of seeing wildlife while ensuring a smooth, comfortable ride. This tour exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience on the water. Definitely a five-star experience! 🐬🌊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What s fun day. Mark is a fun loving guide, who provides an educational & joyous experience to his guests. His knowledge of dolphins, their lives & how they enjoy playtime too is not only entertaining it's a very uplifting afternoon. I enjoyed learning about the Tampa Bay area & the dolphins that inhabit the bay. Mark has a professional attitude. He keeps his guests entertained. He manages his duties as captain & guide very well. This is a great way to spend an afternoon with family & friends. Shane
We were disappointed to find that the boat never leaves the industrial areas of the shipping wharves. Of the 1.5-hour journey, close to an hour is spent just getting out of the inner harbor area and back. The remaining half an hour or so is spent boating around the extremely not-scenic backdrops of the industrial areas. Whilst you do see dolphins, it feels very far from nature and doesn’t present much opportunity for nice photography. The boat was very old and clunky, not particularly comfortable, and certainly not quiet, and the constant blasting of music to try and artificially hype up what could have been a more relaxed experience did not help the overall sense of ugly industrialism and human interference with nature. Nor did the heavy focus on billionaire real estate that features repetitively throughout a large portion of the trip. You never get anywhere near the open water of the Bay or the Gulf. We later went swimming at a beach and had the pleasure of encountering dolphins up close, swimming and playing with us. Maybe try a late afternoon beach trip instead of this tour - you might find yourself getting a lot closer to the wildlife, and without the decaying industrial backdrop of Tampa’s old wharves and tacky billionaire mansions fouling the whole thing!
It was a beautiful day and it was a nice outing but we didn't see any dolphins. Just a few glimpses off in the distance.
Mark was great and we learned a lot too! We even saw baby dolphins!! Thanks for a fun day out on the boat!
It was an unforgettable experience. We saw a handful of dolphins and our guide was thorough and great.
A great time with a knowledgeable and friendly guide and captain. The whole family had fun out on the bay.
Enjoyed the atmosphere, however, wasn't able to see many dolphins. Not the fault of the tour, just the nature of the situation.
We had a very nice guide, named Mark. He tried his very best for us to find dolphins. Yet, the dolphins were not cooperating and I think they out-smarted our driver! Yet, our guide was informative and we were able to learn more about the history of Tampa Bay, the habits and physiology of dolphins, the shipping container yards, and we saw the mansions on shorelines. It was unfortunate for the children on board. They were disappointed and a lityle bored. I think if this were to happen again, especially for the young sailors on board, maybe make some games....such as how many green/blue/red shipping containers can you count, or every time you see birds skimming above the bay's waters - point and shout, "Flap, flap"! That might keep the kids interested in the tour. It was nice that the guide offered us a free ride the next time we booked with the company.
We were not able to complete the tour due to weather. The company had our safety as a concern so I respect that. They did provide a full refund which most companies would not do. I appreciate that.
Our guide (Mark) was top shelf; engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. Conditions were not optimal for dolphins sightings (hence the 4 out of 5), but the overall experience was well worth the time and cost.
My favorite animals are whales and dolphins. This experience meant everything to me plus it was my 49th birthday weekend. It was so awesome. He played good music. He had cold water for us for free and he took us right to see the Dolphins. We got to see the Dolphins play in front of a ship, and that was the most amazing experience of my life. Thank you so much. I will be doing this again with my children.
It was a great experience to see in person. Me and I enjoyed ourselves! It’s a great location right off Tampa river walk
My wife were visiting for our anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. The boat was nice and clean, our guide was a super friendly and knowledgeable guide too. Just a nice, enjoyable experience.
We had a great time out in the water. The boat captain/ tour guide was very knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure we had multiple dolphin encounters. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and provided lots of information. We highly recommend this experience.
