1-hour Sunset Airboat Ride Near Orlando

This was a magical experience! The sunset ride was amazing. The captain was wonderful. We saw the most beautiful sunset ever, several gators, and gorgeous wildlife!

Just got home after 2 weeks doing universal and SeaWorld parks with my daughter.. last night before we went home we had a dusk hour boat ride at Boggy Creek... I know it's a different experience to the parks but I'd go as far as saying this was the highlight for me. Seeing all the wildlite in its natural habitat and watching the sun set on the boat - was amazing. Apologies to him but I forgot the man's name who was in charge of our boat but he kept us informed of all the living things we saw along our way! This includes alligators, some great birds, some Deer and the amazing sunset! We were lucky apparently to see the Gator so close and they can be hard to find but even without that, i really felt I was in their (wild birds/creatures) habitat. Added just few pics of a great experience thank you Boggy Creek.. If I come back to Florida, I'll definitely be back here!

If you are on holiday in Florida, you should absolutely book this sunset trip. It was absolutely stunning. My two children aged 10 and 16 loved it as did we. The guide was really knowledgeable, and the crocs were out for us to see. My favourite part was the sunset behind the tree of life. Breathtaking views. I got photos I’ll treasure forever. Booked the same day and all instructions emailed across. Super service ❤️

Sadly, our tour was canceled due to lightning, but the staff was very friendly. I appreciate that they put our safety first. I also appreciate that I had a refund from Viator within a couple of hours. If I am ever in FL again, I will definitely try this boat tour again.

Great fun! Weather was great doing it at sunset…not so unbearably hot. Saw 3 alligators and a ton of birds. They give you hearing protection which is nice because it’s loud. Would definitely do it again

I selected a platoon sunset cruise and got Boggy Creek Airboat which I did not want. Also my ticket price was $44 pp and I ended up paying $159 (the math is way off). The boat ride was too noisy. Didn’t enjoy

Friday afternoon traffic “is tricky at best” from Orlando. We made it per the 1 hr arrival in advance request. Brandon and his father were great tour guides. Appreciated their efforts to stop fjr wild life and their personal history. An ideal sunset cruise and fun way to experience a airboat too! If they can make access to beverages prior to boarding an option - it would complete the “10” rating!

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. We booked a 1-hour sunset airboat ride, but the second staff member who was supposed to be on the boat never showed up. We waited over 20 minutes while the employee present kept trying to call him, but it became clear he wasn’t coming. According to their policy, one operator can only take up to 6 people. After making everyone wait, the employee offered to take just 6 people, but it would not be the full 1-hour tour. Since it was already sunset, it would get dark within minutes, which also raised safety concerns because the boats do not have lights. This meant the tour would be shorter and potentially unsafe, and there was no clear indication that customers would receive a partial refund. What made it worse is that there was a family visiting from Australia who had already been canceled on once before. This was their second attempt, and it was likely going to be canceled again. They ended up taking the ride since they were a group of 6, but it was still unfair, they received a shorter and riskier experience. We are now waiting for a refund, but we wasted about 2 hours driving there, plus part of our vacation time (we are not even from Florida). When we arrived, there was no manager or anyone in charge,just one employee waiting and multiple customers left in uncertainty. Overall, extremely poor organization and lack of responsibility. I would not recommend this place.

My husband and I had a few hours to spend and we reserved this experience. I am so glad that we did it. So peaceful. The beautiful sunset, the war breeze, the baby and adult gator, so many birds and the sky. Thank you!

Billy was amazing at setting our group of 19 ages 2-51 up with an amazing time. He even met our group in the park and made sure we had the best time and experience. Our captain Jeff was great! Very informative showing us native and endangered birds and found us several large alligators and several babies. So much fun, beautiful sunset pictures , smooth as glass ride. This was our third visit over the last 20 years and each time was great! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Orlando area!!

We used our Gocity pass for this and it didn't disappoint. It was a cool evening so there was hardly anyone there. While we waited we went into their butterfly garden and fed them. Such a wonderful experience. They also has gators in a pond to see as well. Due to the weather they combined our 30 minute ride with the hour long sunset. There were 6 of us so we had a great time. We got to see some big gators, bald eagles and their nest and an amazing sunset. Despite the weather it was great! We had a rental car so we drove the 40 minutes to get there. Would definitely do again.

The views and gators were amazing but Captain Steve was super disrespectful. He was being rude to my mother for being slow down the ramp. He ruined the whole vibe for my family.

The sunset airboat ride was a total blast. Seeing alligators and blue herons definitely made for a great experience. The sunset was absolutely amazing. You could not ask for a better view of the setting sun. The boat pilot was fun and friendly. The facility includes a butterfly house, an alligator viewing area, and even a sluice to pan for gems and arrowheads. I saw a number of families enjoying themselves. This is definitely worth checking out!

Brandon was an excellent Captain/guide! We saw a few Gators, lots of different varieties of birds. Experienced a beautiful sunset! We Highly recommend for a fun trip!! Coming from the West Coast, this was a bucket list we are happy to finally check off!

Crazy to make people come an hour early because you are afraid they can’t figure out traffic or because you want them to spend money there. When I asked the girl why we had to be an hour early, she basically said so that we would spend money in the restaurant, that she admitted was closed. Be there 10 minutes before and you’ll be fine. But keep a close eye on the traffic…

When we come to Florida we always come to Boggy Creek for an airboat ride. The evening cruise is such a beautiful way to see the wildlife in the area and the sunset is stunning out on the water. The guide is very knowledgeable and knows the best places to take us out on the water to find some alligators. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

what a beautiful place , worth the ride out to the venue from orlando as it’s at 7pm, the traffic was awful so leave plenty of time

It was Breathe taking!! I went by myself on a whim and found this to be one of the best things I did in Orlando! The guide was amazing and wonderful! The airboat was so fun! I felt like I was in a picture everywhere I looked!! It was the sunset ride and the weather was perfect! ❤️❤️❤️

I have done several airboat tours and this was by far the most boring. We saw alligators and birds but the guide was inexperienced and didn’t say much on the tour. Honestly there were awkward moments.

This is the best Airboat ride we have done in Orlando. The captain was v knowledgeable and gave a good tour. we all enjoyed the ride and got to see plenty of alligators. A must do for family fun.

The boat tour was awesome the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Views were beautiful. I advise to go directly to the site to book. We were over charged. Viator charged us for 3 people and we we a party of 2.

We had an amazing time! We did the sunset ride. The weather was perfect and our guide was very knowledgeable about the Lake.10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience! We've been to Florida several times and always book to go on an airboat ride however this was by far the best one yet. Captain Steve was really engaging and knowledgeable and we managed to spot at least 4 large alligators (2 around 10 feet!) The boat ride was great and all 15 of the passengers were totally enthralled by the sunset as well as being very happy at the wildlife we spotted. Would highly recommend and we will do this again! Remember to tip your guides as well xx

I’ve done a few airboat tours in the past and always found them to be both exciting and educational — but unfortunately, this sunset tour was a huge letdown. The operator showed almost zero interest in engaging with the group. There was barely any interaction, hardly any stops, and no effort to share information about the wildlife, the area, or the birds, which is usually one of the highlights of these tours. It felt like the operator was just going through the motions and counting down the minutes until the hour was over. Compared to other tours I’ve experienced, where the guide would share fascinating stories and point out wildlife along the way, this one felt rushed, empty, and honestly, boring. A very disappointing experience — I definitely wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone.

The guide did not engage with the group limited information on wildlife or information on the Everglades Seemed like an alligator hunt. You do not need to turn up one hour before. That is a ruse to make you spend money Food available was good for fast food, facilities are good plenty of seating and chilling places while you wait for your timeslot

Want to go back for a morning ride!! The captain of the boat did a great job of taking us to picturesque locations as well as searched for an alligator sighting even though the cold weather made it hard to find any out of the water

While visiting Orlando, we were looking for the fun and unusual things to do; came across what sounded like a fab little adventure and oh my goodness, it certainly did NOT disappoint! Beautiful sunset, excellent guide, once-in-a-lifetime memories made… An absolute MUST for anyone visiting the area, can’t recommend highly enough-the surroundings, staff’s knowledge and customer care, good value for money too-all helped to create an amazing unforgettable experiences. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!
