Wife and I booked a spur of the moment cruise…was not disappointed! We moved to the area in April and today was a bit cooler so it was a perfect opportunity for this. Sage, our captain was awesome and gave us the lowdown on the local ecology, history and other sights. Will take the 2 hour cruise next time and include the Harborside restaurant as well.

Had a gorgeous afternoon learning more about the lakes and wildlife with our fantastic 'Captain' Sage..very relaxing, comfortable, safe and enjoyable..if you have some time to spare..well worth the money. Oh and lovely quick lunch at Harborside to finish.

We were looking for a close to home day trip and found this tour of our local lakes and booked a morning cruise with Captain Randy. He arrived right on time, was friendly and was genuinely interested in what we wanted to see. The boat was comfortable and Randy was very capable and very knowledgeable of the history and wildlife of this chain of lakes. We saw an alligator, great egret, great blue heron, and several ospreys. The lakes were also great and helped us to stay cool. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who enjoys our beautiful lakes and abundant wildlife. The cost was very reasonable.

Captain Bryce was fantastic! Super friendly and provided fabulous detailed information about the lakes and wetlands surrounding the area. Loved his identification of the birds we saw and the behind the scenes of Cypress Gardens.

My name is Stephen. I researched activities to do in Florida on my vacation and this was one of the recommended activities that came up for me. I decided to do this boat cruise with my mom. I did the 1 hour tour and it was a great experience. I believe the price for the tour is very reasonable. The tour guide that took us out on the boat is named Sage and she was very professional. She is very knowledgeble about the lakes and the history behind it. She made the atmosphere of the entire tour very positive and heartwarming. I would definitely recommend her for a tour guide. If you are looking for fun outdoor activities with great scenery in Florida, I would definitely recommend this place.

One hour tour was such a great experience. Captain was so pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. He seemed as excited as we were with every discovery. The boat was clean and Captain was very aware of our safety and comfort. Would definitely go again and recommend this tour!

Bryce did a great job showing us the area and pointing out so much information and wildlife we would have missed without a guide. He helped my 5 year old granddaughter feel comfortable on the ride and even near an alligator.

It was so nice to see the wildlife. The only problem was since we were seated in the back next to the motor, we could not hear anything that was said and missed a lot of information. We let the person know but we still couldn't understand what was said.

Great experience. Learned a lot about the orange industry and how the lakes were used to ship them. Guide made sure we saw plenty of wildlife and let my grandson drive the boat!

Fun, informative and relaxing! Our Captain (Bryce, I believe) was great! He was very knowledgeable and had great interaction with the group. It was obvious he loves his job! When booking, I didn’t see there was a 2 hour tour offered so we only did the 1 hour but would absolutely recommend 2 hours!!

Our guide, Roe, was on time, extremely knowledgeable and a 5 star wildlife guru. We were a party of 4 on a tour of 8. Plenty of room, nice boat, neat and clean. Highly recommend this tour.

took the one hour tour . all the two hr tours in our time frame were sold out. the pontoon boat was comfortable . saw lots of animals gators turtles several different birds . we didn't see them otters are often seen . the captain was knowledgeable and informative . ten or eleven is the capacity of the boat. would do the 2 hr next time

Boat ride was great. However, you need to be careful. Trip advisor has misleading info. Clicked on 2 hour tour but somehow only a 1 hour tour was found.

Captain ‘D’ provided an excellent trip for the one hour cruise. We saw a lot and absolutely enjoyed the tour. He added humor and jokes along the way. He showed us photos of Dick Pope, Legoland, different shots of the pool in the movie ‘Easy to love’, etc. it was enjoyable, fun and entertaining. Weather was perfect. Boat was comfortable. Highly recommended!

Captain Darrel was great, very knowledgeable, fun, friendly. the boat was clean and well maintained. We saw several bird species I've never seen before, 4 alligators and got a great history of the area. Cruised past several sites that were used in Hollywood movies, the former Cypress Gardens, now Legoland.

Bryce was fabulous! Very knowledgeable of area. He did a great job. Answered all my grandkids questions. Loved him.

It was a beautiful day for a 1 hour boat tour. Our captain/tour guide, Sage, was great. She pointed out many different birds and told us about them. We saw nests and flocks. She took extra time to show us alligators and turtles. Cypress Gardens now Legoland was so beautiful. We'll will be going back for a longer tour.

Our boat tour was led by Bryce a nice and knowledgeable young man. He was very accommodating. The tour was just the right amount of time and information. It was relaxing and peaceful. The boat was comfortable and easy to get in and out for older folks. We enjoyed our one hour tour immensely!

My wife and I had an exclusive boat tour of 4 lakes with Captain "D" (Darrell). Captain D was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable. The day was perfect and no breeze at all. Lots of beautiful birds, alligators and other wildlife. He talked about the wealth of history in the area and all of the amazing people who lived there. We found that a number of television series and movies were filmed in the area as well. What a great time!!!!!

The boat captain was incredibly nice and very informative. The pontoon was very comfortable to ride on and a great way to slowly enjoy the beautiful nature scenery as well as the houses in the area. We all had a wonderful time and would absolutely do it again.

My Sister and I lucked out by being the only ones on the cruise. Rue was great and amazing at spotting the wildlife. We saw many gators, Turtles and several bird species. He was informative and made the hour fly by. The weather was absolutely perfect, made for an amazing experience.

We saw different birds and an alligator. Our guide Sage did a great job identifying birds and giving some history. It was a little chilly, but there were blankets on the boat.

It was a great way to learn a little about the lakes and how so many are connected by tunnels, also the wildlife and history of a few of them.

I booked a boat cruise for 8 for my husband's birthday celebration. Our Captain Sage was awesomely amazing! 2 members of our party was stuck in traffic and wasn't able to get there in time. She immediately called the office and got me 2 rain check gift cards that my guests could use at a later date. Not only was she a great navigator, Sage's knowledge about the wildlife that lives and migrates the lakes that we visited was uncanny! She is a great historian narrating how Cypress Gardens came to be put on the map telling us all about the great events and famous people who made it what it is today. I was so captured by her storytelling. I went home and watched the movie "Easy to Love" starring Esther Williams who was dubbed the "Million Dollar Mermaid" because of her unparallel water synchronizing scenes. She helped made the Florida Panhandled shaped pool located in Cypress Gardens famous! We will definitely be repeat customers!

We had a nice but cold,windy day on the Chain of Lakes Tour. Thank goodness our guide provided fluffy blankets and bottled water. She was very informative and patiently answered questions about the many types of birds and other animals and plants we saw. I will take family on this tour the next time they're in Florida!!!!

Wildlife rescue! We were in the fourth lake when Randy noticed an anhinga doing something. The anhinga was trying to help another anhinga whose head it could no longer keep up out of the water because the anhingas beak was tangled in a frayed end of rope in the water. Randy immediately circled back and carefully pulled the exhausted anhinga from the water where he worked to removed the many fibers from its beak that were tangled in the frayed rope. It was such an incredible experience to see him care so much for the wildlife and we were able to see an anhinga up close. Randy also scooped trash out of the lakes. Under Randy’s watchful eye we saw otters, an alligator, eagles, osprey, turtles as well as flowers and trees. We recommend Randy 💯
