This place is such a gem. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The front desk staff were extremely friendly. There was a good variety of options for breakfast (fruit, bagels, waffles, pastries, yogurt, meats & cheese, etc) and the bar on site was very convenient. It’s off the beaten path, yet still close to all of the key landmarks. We rented the bikes on site and used them to get around for our stay. The room was clean, but did have an odor to it. I get it — it’s an older building in a really humid location, but wanted to mention it for travelers with sensitivities.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing enough that we ended up leaving early. The room had a strong, musty odor when we arrived, and the overall cleanliness was not up to the standard we expected. The air conditioning was extremely loud and made it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably. The glassware provided in the room was not clean and there was visible mold growing in the walls you could tell was recently painted over. The hounds were nice, minus the Rooster. They also have live music on Saturday mornings starting at 9 am which I thought was weird. Breakfast was a nice perk but the cost for parking was high and didn’t offset. Unfortunately I would not recommend.
I was very pleased the moment I stepped onto this property. I was greeted by Johany when checking in and he was immediately so warm and welcoming. I had never been to Key West and he told me all the best places to eat and even gave good recommendations for what to do for my birthday. Once I was checked in, he walked me around the property and to my room to make sure it was to my liking (which it was). During my stay, Lee was also so amazing at the front desk. She was so so kind and helped me with questions I had about the area. Another great person was Lemi. When checking out I asked what bigger rooms they had to offer because I’m already wanting to go back and she kindly gave me a tour of the bigger rooms on property. Truly the best experience here at Winslow’s. The room was nice and comfortable, I loved our nice sized bathroom, and the pool was even better. So peaceful, relaxing and everything I was looking for. The free breakfast and bar area was also such a great touch during my stay. Duval Street was just two blocks away and plenty of restaurants, bars, stores and shops so close by. I definitely will be returning!!
Winslow's Bungalows is perfectly located a few blocks up from Duval Street on the quieter end of town, closer to the Southernmost Point. It's only a few minutes walk to many key attractions (Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, Hemingway's House, and the lighthouse) and plenty of amazing restaurants. The staff was top notch and the accommodations phenomenal. Highly suggest you take advantage of the concierge - she provided great recommendations for different tours, adventures, and restaurants. 10/10 recommend!
A charming and comfortable stay for our family of four (two adults, two young adult children). Concierge Johany was so thoughtful in having our room decorated to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the kids' graduations. The bungalows are cozy, clean, and comfortable. Ours opened onto the pool area. The location is perfect: centrally located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood within walking distance to Duval Street, many restaurants, and sites. The breakfast buffet was healthy and generous, and the coffee was good (not often the case in hotels). We enjoyed drinks at the Bungalow Bar, and our fellow guests were convivial and ranged from couples of all ages to families with young children. Highly recommended!
