Westin Lake Mary Orlando North

Overall the hotel is solid and the staff are super friendly and had a nice gym and pool. I don’t want to nitpick too much but the rooms themselves have a few minor flaws such as poor shower curtains that flood the bathroom when you shower. (Which happened to me and other members of my party in which we stayed here in their room). Room decor is non existent almost felt like a hospital room, and no real easy plugs for charging in the room. Overall I lt was a good stay but probably a little underwhelming for the price. I think a little modernizing would really go a long way.

I absolutely love this place. It’s a great stop for a morning Uber to the Sanford airport. The night manager when I’ve been (Howitt?) is incredible at making you feel like a distinguished guest and she is completely attentive to detail. 20 out of 10 on her level of service. The bar does close early if they’re not busy, but the hot tub doesn’t. If you’re an adult and you’re being quiet, they’ve yet to forcibly remove me. Speaking of Hot Tub, this one is actually hot. Maybe one of the last remaining literal hot tubs left in the wild. Most of them seem to be like warm these days. Maybe it just takes more to soothe my older colder soul. Either way, the pool area rocks. Beds are great, pillows on the softer side. Restaurant is incredibly accommodating with interesting fare. I highly recommend it.

We have stayed at this Westin every year before our cruise, and over the past several years it has become a tradition for us to stay here twice a year—once in the summer and again in the winter. Our experiences have always been wonderful, which is exactly why we have continued coming back. We have always loved the beautiful property, the convenient location, and the welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, this most recent stay was incredibly disappointing and will likely be our last. Our room was not clean. The furniture was ripped and damaged, there were water stains on both the ceiling and the walls, and the bed linens did not appear to be fresh. While these issues alone were frustrating, I chose not to spend time complaining because we were only staying one night before boarding our cruise. What was even more disappointing was our check-in experience. In the past, the guest services team has always been warm, friendly, and welcoming. This time, however, the associate who checked us in, Destiny, was indifferent and noticeably unfriendly. She seemed bothered by having to assist us and made no effort to provide the level of hospitality we've come to expect from this hotel. It is truly unfortunate because we have been loyal guests for years. We continued returning because of the consistently positive experiences, but this stay fell far below the standard we have always associated with the Westin. We are very disappointed and, after this experience, will be looking elsewhere for accommodations before our future cruises.

Loved our recent stay at the Westin! Spacious, clean, and quiet in the lobby, halls, and rooms. We stayed for a very large softball tournament and despite that it was a peaceful stay! There was an issue with having our room ready upon arrival (which was well after check-in) but it was courteously corrected and made right by the two desk staff Spencer and a young girl I cannot remember her name unfortunately. Guest rooms are a great size and doesn’t feel as small as most other hotels do with your family and equipment! The management had nothing to do with not having the rooms cleaned but they did apologize and gave us an additional room at no charge since we did have to compromise on bed size. This was a considerate gesture, as the alternative could have negatively effected my daughters play the next day. Great location in town also! Plenty near to see, eat, and do.
