The Westin Tampa Bay

Tanja at the front desk was amazing. We have been traveling frequently for relocation and this was our second stay here. On both trips she was extremely accommodating and was able to give us an upgraded room at her own suggestion. The pool is wonderful and watching the dolphins every morning was incredible! Excellent stay at The Westin. We arrived in a ride share and were greeted at our vehicle by Matt, and check-in was smooth and pleasant. The room is immaculate with a great bay view. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool and cocktails and dinner at the restaurant. Tanja at the front desk was very friendly and helpful to navigate a late check-out. Excellent stay, definitely recommended.

There is a reason why my wife and I have stayed here 3 times in the last 5 months. The staff is AMAZING!!!! The front desk manager Angel Vega is the definition of what hospitality service should be. The room attendants do an outstanding job before your stay starts and during the time you are on property. The rooms are always immaculately clean, smell wonderful and are picture perfect. The on premise restaurant has a variety of tasty dishaes at affordable prices. The restaurant staff are attentive and friendly. The two ladies in the morning who are cooking the breakfast do an amazing job with the flavors, presentation and plate arrangement of the food. The lobby bar is the happening spot throughput the day. Outside of the bartender, the staff in the area need to be more astute of customers as they enter the lounge area and to have a time sensitive measure when they enter in the customers order.

The hotel was beautiful and, most importantly, incredibly convenient for everything we had planned during our trip. The location was perfect for all of our activities, and we especially loved having a beautiful bay view to come back to. I also really appreciated all of the accommodations and little conveniences throughout the hotel. Having a Starbucks right inside was such a nice bonus, especially when getting ready for a busy day. There were a couple of minor things worth noting. The self-parking cost was a downside for me, especially since it adds up quickly when you’re staying multiple nights. The valet was only a little more than self-parking, though, so that was at least a nice alternative. Our bathroom also needed to be serviced when we first arrived. However, we completely understood that this was likely because we had requested an early arrival at the last minute, and we really appreciated the hotel accommodating us. Housekeeping also serviced our room daily throughout our stay, which is always a huge plus for me. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The pool was also a nice feature, and the hotel made a great home base for our Tampa trip. We’d definitely consider staying here again!
