I stayed at the hotel in late June. The hotel itself was very nice—comfortable rooms and beds, a nice creek view, and pool area. I did wish the breakfast had more variety, especially for a multi-night stay. Unfortunately, I had a very difficult experience with my luggage after checkout. I left it with the front desk, and it went missing, apparently due to a mix-up with another guest. It was recovered about a week later and shipped to me, but it was not secured properly and went missing again with the carrier. I finally received it about a month after it first disappeared. I appreciate that the hotel helped recover and ship my luggage, but the situation was extremely stressful and costly, as I had to replace essentials while it was missing. I also felt that I had to reach out repeatedly for updates rather than receiving proactive communication. I hope the hotel improves its procedures for handling and securing guests’ belongings. Update: The hotel assured me that the incurred expenses will be reimbursed, unfortunately, they did not follow through on that.

אוקיי, הנה נוסח מעודכן באנגלית. I’d like to share some feedback with genuine respect and care. The hotel is very convenient, and for religious guests, having a kosher breakfast and a synagogue is truly valuable. However, there are some service issues. Doors that don’t close properly and staff who sometimes seem unfriendly or tense. I’m sharing this only because I care. People have invested so much here, and with just a bit more focus on guest experience, it could greatly benefit your business. This isn’t personal, it’s simply a suggestion for your continued success.
This was easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Non-stop Noise: Zero soundproofing. It was extremely loud 24/7, making it impossible to sleep. Broken Plumbing: The toilet in our room was completely out of order. We reported it immediately, but management ignored us and never bothered to fix it. Disgusting Service: The staff is incredibly rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. They simply do not care about guests. Dining Nightmare: The dining room was filthy, poorly managed, and the staff there were extremely hostile. Horrible attitude, zero hygiene, and total neglect. Avoid this place at all costs!
Stuff very nice Regis helped us to get our passport back from Orlando what we left in another hotel, three hours away from Miami Without him I miss my flight. He organised in 10 minutes everything he called up the Hotel that’ll be left out Passport he or with the security they Driver to pick it up and bring it over to Miami 2 hours before check in He also upgraded our room to water view The hotel rooms are very basic. They have a lot of space but they don’t use it . The gym is nice facing to the river that’s why it could be nicer if the gym is nicer. They have a beautiful Settings facing to Miami downtown and very close to Miami Beach Short walk to Bal Harbour shopping That is amazing. Have a beautiful View day and night facing to Miami Downtown and the River. ! The rooms are too basic. It could be a five star hotel, Very unique hotel.could be with this settings River the Bal Harbour shopping Centre The View , make it very special but too basic rooms have not even little spoon for the cafe or glasses All facilities are lower the standard Hope they do some changes as services and design and i will be back ! They have an amazing settings with very nice staff
I stay at the Altier Hotel in Bay Harbor twice a year whenever I come to Miami for business, and I can honestly say I would choose this hotel over any other. While it may cost a little more than some alternatives, the experience and value you receive are simply unmatched. The complimentary kosher breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. One of the biggest conveniences for me is having morning and afternoon prayers right in the hotel. It creates a wonderful atmosphere and saves me the trouble of looking for a shul elsewhere. The coffee available near the shul and the friendly guests make it feel like a true community. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, many with gorgeous views. I especially appreciate the peaceful environment. If you want to enjoy Miami without staying directly on the busy beach, this is the perfect place. The dinners at the hotel are absolutely outstanding. Although they are not included in the room rate, I would honestly say the food is better than many restaurants in Miami. I have brought business associates with me, and every single dish we ordered was exceptional. The atmosphere is elegant, calm, and enjoyable, making it a pleasure to dine there. I have also spent Shabbat at the hotel with my family, and the experience is truly unforgettable. The meals are delicious, the atmosphere is warm and uplifting, and the sense of community is something special. The Shabbat morning Kiddush is always beautiful, with singing, Divrei Torah, and everyone enjoying the experience together. Shalosh Seudos in the shul is another highlight, bringing guests together in a warm and meaningful setting. I would also like to mention the Mashgiach, who is an important part of what makes this hotel so special. He is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. He takes his responsibility very seriously, ensuring the highest kosher standards are maintained, while at the same time making every guest feel comfortable and appreciated. His warmth, dedication, and genuine care for people truly enhance the atmosphere and make the hotel feel like a home away from home. If you are looking for the perfect kosher hotel experience in Miami, make sure to stay at the Altier Hotel in Bay Harbor. For me, it is much more than a hotel—it is a place I look forward to returning to every single time I visit Miami.
