Rumfish Beach Resort By Tradewinds

Not recommended and we will not be back! This resort is old and does not match the photos online. Whoever took photos of the resort for the website did a phenomenal job of overstating the quality of this resort. Do not trust the photos online. The rooms and furniture are tired and in serious need of updating. The staff was friendly, but not accommodating. We were a half hour early for checkin and the room was available, but they stated we could not check in unless we paid them an additional fee for early access. Additionally, we asked them to send someone to clean the room after we left for the morning and came back to a uncleaned room and they objected. They said that the cleaning staff hasn’t made it to our room yet. However, it was 4:00pm at this point. On another note, the main pool is under construction, which was not mentioned, and there are only two small pools to accommodate all the guests at the entire resort. Needless to say, they were overcrowded and not comfortable. The food was okay and the beach was nice. The free chairs and umbrella at the beach were a nice addition. Beware when booking!

Izzy was an amazing bartender! She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. The drinks were great, and her service really stood out. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and knows how to make people feel comfortable. Definitely ask for Izzy if you’re looking for a great bartender!

As soon as we arrived at the hotel late Friday afternoon, we went to check out the beach, and the staff member Jonel was making marshmallows by the fire pit. He was very attentive and friendly with all the children who were there, including my kids. We had a great conversation, especially because he knew a lot about Brazilian soccer, which made the interaction even more enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming. So far, we are absolutely loving our experience at the hotel!

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, Ana at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She made us feel right at home. The room was amazing, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The easy access to the beach and all the games and activities for the kids made the stay even better. A special thank you to Ana for making our experience so enjoyable. The kids had an amazing time, and we truly enjoyed every part of our stay. We will definitely be back!
