Stayed here for a week and had an amazing experience. The shuttle drivers were so sweet and, both ways from the airport, I was the only one in the shuttle. The staff here are very friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. The restaurant also exceeded my expectations - the highlight was the bread pudding, which is the chef’s mother’s recipe!
When you enter the lobby of the hotel you instantly think, “wow this is a really nice hotel.” As soon as you get to your room, you will instantly take that statement back. The lobby is very nice and up to date. The rooms however are the complete opposite. The rooms look very old and look like they haven’t been updated since the 90’s. Each room is a connecting room which I feel tells you how old these rooms are. The bathroom sink is for whatever reason extreme short and comes to the beginning of your thighs which is weird. The bathroom tile was literally hanging on for dear life. There are holes in our curtains and the entire room smells like mildew. Please do not be fooled by the nice lobby, this hotel is extremely old, falling apart, and is not taken care of at all.
Very quiet even though my room (715) being next to the elevator shaft. Some light bleed under the door. Room is clean and cool. Air quality is very good inside the room. Water is not the hard water, no weird taste either. No visible molds.
A really comfortable stay from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had an incredibly comfortable bed which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were all lovely, polite and very helpful when I had a small issue that they sorted quickly. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and everything tasted good, although I do think the presentation could have been a little better. That aside, I really enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
My ratings are based on doing research beforehand and already knowing it was not expected to be a luxury hotel. The airport transportation service was on time. The staff were fantastic from communication to service. Our event was held at the hotel. My hands were full while making my plate during the lunch served. One of the staff walks across the room and offers to carry my bags. Another staff member noticed some members were looking for an additional chair, the staff immediately retrieved one- without being asked. The room was clean and roomy! The food was great.
