The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the price is great, but unfortunately, the upkeep is extremely disappointing. I requested a room upgrade and was charged what seemed like a random amount, with no clear or standard upgrade fee. Upon check-in, the room was absolutely filthy! The floors were covered in dirt, the dishwasher had eggshells and straws inside, the kitchen baseboard was falling off, the bathroom doors were smeared and dirty, and there was mold in the bathroom. Several fixtures in the bedroom were also loose. I went to get ice and when I opened the ice bucket there was a piece of food in there dried at the bottom and it smelled disgusting. The pool area was equally disappointing. The jacuzzi was filthy, with hair, leaves, and dirt at the bottom. The beautiful pool was freezing cold, and someone had left a T-shirt in the water that nobody bothered to remove. There wasn't a single employee around the pool area to assist guests or maintain cleanliness. What's most frustrating is that **this hotel has SO much potential!** The rooms are spacious, the property is beautiful, and the location couldn't be better. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and attention to detail really takes away from what could be an amazing experience. Such a shame because with proper upkeep, this hotel could be fantastic!

Room was given to us dirty. Bathroom full of hair in the tub, hair tie with hair in the shower. No wash cloths, no hand soap, AC barely kept drink cold, kitchen utensils dirty, no sponge in the kitchen. They charge to clean the room after check out yet they knew they gave us a dirty room; that should have been waived. We had to pick up the toiletries after we called the front desk several times to alert them we were missing them. We were so tired from driving from Tampa so we waited to pick up what we needed the morning after... Horrible care to detail. This is the second time this has happened to me. Never again! Furthermore, $17 a day to park in a hotel you already pay a daily fee is insane. Ridiculous!
20/10. This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean and so much better than the photos. The pool was as warm and clean. The food was superb. I would have been fine spending 24/7 at the Provident Doral. They had everything and much more to offer
I genuinely cannot understand how this room was considered clean or acceptable for guests. While the staff at check-in were pleasant, the condition of the room itself was absolutely disgusting. Easily one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. The room was old, poorly maintained, and had a strong, unpleasant odor from the moment we entered. The air-conditioning unit was leaking, the floors were visibly dirty, and the bathroom appeared as though it had barely been cleaned. There was hair in the bathroom drains, grime throughout the room, and everything felt unsanitary. It honestly looked and smelled as though the room had been wiped down with water and nothing more. The bedding was especially disturbing. The sheets looked extremely old and did not feel fresh or clean. The following morning, when we inspected them more closely, we discovered BLOOD on the sheets. That immediately made us question whether the bedding had even been changed before we arrived. To make matters worse, there was also a used Band-Aid which absolutely did not belong to us, stuck to the headboard. Finding another person’s blood and a used Band-Aid in a supposedly cleaned hotel room is beyond unacceptable. These are not minor cosmetic complaints or issues that come with an older property. They are serious sanitation and hygiene failures that create legitimate health concerns. Guests should never have to examine their sheets, bathroom drains, and furniture to determine whether a room was actually cleaned before checking in. The entire experience felt incredibly disrespectful. We paid for a clean, safe place to stay and instead were given a room that was filthy, unsanitary, and completely unfit for guests. Pleasant staff at check-in cannot make up for the lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance inside the room. Management needs to investigate its housekeeping procedures immediately, particularly how linens are changed, how bathrooms are sanitized, and how rooms are inspected before being released to new guests. Based on the condition of our room, it appeared that no meaningful inspection had taken place at all. This was an absolutely horrific experience, and I would not recommend staying here unless the property makes significant improvements to its cleanliness, sanitation standards, and quality-control procedures.
Extremely disappointing experience at Provident Doral at the Blue. My stay started with being assigned a room that was visibly dirty and not properly cleaned. The condition was so unacceptable that I had to request a different room immediately after check-in. The bigger issue happened during a later stay. I accidentally left my AirPods charging on the sofa in my room. As soon as I realized it, I called the hotel and reported exactly where they were. I was assured multiple times that housekeeping would be notified and that someone would get back to me. For days, I called twice a day asking for updates. The same employee repeatedly told me that housekeeping had been informed, yet nobody ever called me back. Meanwhile, I had the location of my AirPods through Apple’s Find My network and screenshots showing their location. After receiving no assistance from the hotel, I was eventually notified that my AirPods were no longer at the property and had traveled to the Melbourne, Florida area—approximately three hours away from Miami. At that point, it became obvious that someone had taken them. When I contacted the front desk again and explained that I had location data and screenshots, I was told that housekeeping “didn’t find anything” and that items go missing there all the time, including wallets, computers, and phones. Instead of addressing the situation, the response was essentially that they are not responsible when guests’ belongings disappear. A hotel that openly acknowledges that guests regularly lose valuable items, fails to investigate reported theft, ignores repeated follow-up calls, and leaves customers on hold for an hour without assistance is not providing an acceptable level of service. I would STRONGLY recommend that guests think twice before staying in this hotel. Very disappointed with the service after staying for 2 weeks. This should definitely not be a 4 star hotel.
