I stayed here over the weekend while celebrating my wedding reception nearby and I was really disappointed. The hot water system broke, and I understand that things happen, but to not be able to take a hot shower for two days and have the hotel do absolutely nothing for the guests is insane. This is not a cheap motel. You should be discounting stays, offering breakfast, SOMETHING. Second, I was reviewing the list of amenities that they charge an additional $40/night for, and none of the things were explained or offered to us upon check in. If you're going to advertise things like welcome drinks, then provide them. Last, I booked an ocean room with a balcony, but they allow people to party during all hours of the night in the lobby area and outside near the pool. I woke up to drunk people screaming at nearly 4am. Why is no one enforcing quiet hours? The check in person was right there watching it happen while they disturbed other guests. Again, really disappointing for the money I spent and the relaxation I was looking for was simply not there. The one highlight was the valet team who was friendly and did a great job.

2nd stay at Dune House. 1st was back in March during the renovations. They've done a wonderful job. Lobby is super inviting. The staff though sets Dune House apart. From the front office to housekeeping to the pool and beach staff ( I didn't have any interactions with either the bar or restaurant folks this stay) very accommodating and helpful. Amber and Debra from operations were great resources during the stay. Always smiling and happy to assist. Looking forward to returning, Dune House has become my hotel of choice whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend.
I went with 4 other women for a spa day and was so disappointed with all the renovations that were done that changed a beautiful spa experience to just a service. My facial was wonderful with Nina and Lauren was so nice and wanted to do anything she could to make us happy. The decor in the spa area was awful, spare and so strangely appointed with Mustard and Brown that were so dreary in the rooms. The waiting area in the spa was so small with tiny furniture. I'm 5'3" and it was so low and small for me. The outside waiting area with the beautiful ocean view was so weird outside with a pool table, big screen TV and some more bizarre furniture. It's just obvious thst the relaxing spa experience wasn't what anyone was shooting for. The Spa at One Ocean was a wonderful setup with a large changing area with showers and a hot tub and a beautiful relaxation room overlooking the ocean with water, snacks and Preseco available before the service. Now its water and tea in a room with a TV and people working on their computers. Not the Spa experience my friends and I are used to. I actually liked One Ocean better than the Ponte Vedra Spa and Inn, but Dune House Spa is like a serve in a strip mall. Again my facial was wonderful but I won't be going back. It's more just a service for people staying at the hotel.
Had a great experience! The bartender, Anna, was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable. She was professional, welcoming, and really knew how to take care of her customers. The drinks were great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was even better. Ana recommend a rice bowl and it was delicious. Definitely someone who deserves recognition — I’ll be coming back!
An Amazing Anniversary Weekend at Dune House From the moment we pulled up to Dune House and valeted our car, the hospitality was exceptional at every turn. The entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and the level of service throughout our stay was outstanding. A very special thank you to Debra, who was an absolute standout. From the moment we met her at check-in, she was gracious, warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and Debra went above and beyond to make the entire weekend feel special. She truly treated us like royalty and is exactly the kind of person who turns a great hotel stay into a memorable experience. We also had an amazing experience at Coastal Farmer, Dune House's restaurant. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and once again, the service was top notch. It is definitely the place to be! Every person we encountered at Dune House was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The property is beautiful, but it was the people and the hospitality that really made our anniversary weekend something we will remember. Thank you to the entire Dune House team, and especially Debra, for making our anniversary weekend so special. We can't wait to come back!
