We had an amazing stay! The place was beautiful, and everything exceeded our expectations. We had a small issue with one of the curtains, but the staff responded right away and came to fix it immediately, which we really appreciated! One of the coolest parts was being able to see Tropicana Field right from our balcony. The pool was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the highlights of our stay! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
This was so much nicer to have a large room with a kitchenette than a stay at a typical hotel or motel. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We loved being close to Tropicana Field and all of downtown St. Petersburg! The balcony was also so enjoyable, as was the pool. Everything was so clean! We highly recommend this Mint House!
HORRIBLE. I’ve never stayed in a hotel this bad! The bed was genuinely the worst mattress I have ever slept on..please look at the photos for reference. Completely sinks in with no support. The photo I took was after I had been out of bed for hours already and you can see how warped the mattress is. On top of that the mattress was YELLOW so disgusting. The room was dirty there was hair and other debris in the opening of the washing machine. Dirty bathroom. Door handle was falling off. They switched us to a new room after we complained only for the mattress to be the same quality as the last one and for the room to be hardly any cleaner. They make this place look so nice online and when you get there it’s gross and falling apart. For the money I think any other hotel in st Pete would have been better than this one.
I loved my stay here. The room was very nice and spacious with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. I was able to walk to the Rays games and nearby bars, including Fergs. The bed was really comfortable. The pool view isn't much, but you can see downtown St. Pete and Tropicana field which is even better. I wish I had known about their parking policy beforehand, as it was expensive. You could save a little by parking down the block and walking with all your luggage. Besides the parking, everything else was great!
My family and I stayed here for four nights on a little fall getaway. The location was fabulous and we loved the pool and outdoor grill area. Parking at Central garage was super easy and close, just check the Rays baseball schedule as we were unprepared for that and how it affected traffic and parking. The room was comfortable although the floor could definitely use a good scrub. That really is my only complaint. Would definitely stay here again!
