Islander Resort

Overall lovely stay. Pools were well kept. Room was spacious and clean. We stayed over in the 500s room area and we appreciated how quiet the area was. Stay by the pool area for more excitement. The food at the resort was above average for our trip. Hospitality staff were kind and attentive. Shout out to the front desk staff as they were the best. I think the only complaint would have been the lack of good direct ocean beach access. There were a couple spots to enter, but I think with the time of year and winds a lot of seaweed was blown ashore. Would come again!

What a beautiful place! My wife and I attended a wedding at the resort and decided to stay for the whole weekend. Best decision ever! This place is amazing! The staff were friendly, welcoming and always helpful. The location and resort was stunning! Felt like a true tropical paradise. Beautiful rooms that felt modern with a twist of the island tropical life! Pool and bar service was top notch and the food was mind blowing! Then the wedding itself, by far the most memorable I’ve ever been too. The picturesque view behind the couple as they said their vows, the banquet that the resort serviced was insanely good and they attention to detail the staff took was beyond anything I’ve experienced. My wife and I immediately said we will be back again for a nice romantic weekend away by ourselves or with the family! If you are going down to the keys this resort is a must!

We had the best experience at The Islander! We had a beautiful ocean view room that was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The resort amenities were wonderful. The staff went out of their way to pamper us with a reserved cabana, champagne and poolside food. We had a small problem with the WiFi in our room and Nixie at the front desk immediately responded took care of us. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The property is just gorgeous with beautiful pools, an amazing view and many activities. There are also many great restaurants and shops nearby. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The rooms were cool and clean and prime for relaxing after a long hot day in the Florida sun. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Every single staff person we interacted with were wonderful. From Sarah at the front desk to Danielle at the pool and every helping hand delivering cool (ice!) towels poolside - we were met with smiles and and a suggested hand or guidance. The complimentary laundry each day is also a fantastic bonus, as is the free shuttle that takes you across the street to Lorelei’s to watch one of the best sunsets in the keys. The little beach bar right behind poolside seating was such a wonderful and convenient offering providing free cold water and delicious adult beverages. The two on-site restaurants were great - friendly staff and delicious food. The claypot chicken at the beachside restaurant was incredible! And the complimentary coffee station they put out at the pool restaurant was such a great perk - my husband took advantage every day of our weeklong stay! My only two drawbacks are the temperature of the second pool being more hot tub than pool, but I get it - August in Florida will cook a pool, and the fact that on-site activities like bike rentals (but free) and putt putt closed down at 8 pm. I highly recommend this place!
