This has been the most wonderful hotel experience. It was a celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary and the staff have been so accommodating. The views are spectacular and the hotel's Cuban restaurant, Cana, was literally...I am sincere...the best Cuban food I've ever eaten. This whole trip has been exceptional and I just want to say thank you for making this so memorable. Highly recommend. You are now and forever my Miami go- to.
Spent 2 nights at this property. Nice room and friendly front desk staff. Loved the rooftop pool with the view of biscayne bay. We could even see our cruiseship. Close to transportation. Took train from miami airport for $2.25 and walked to hotel. Came back to hotel for a midday swim. Enjoyed oranges at the pool!
Overall, a very good stay at Centric Brickell Miami. Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, large bathrooms, and very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The room could use a little more attention to maintenance — two sets of outlets didn’t work, the iron was damaged, and the flooring was noticeably worn in places. Service was generally excellent. The only small exception was at the pool bar, where the service felt a bit distracted at times, with conversations being interrupted to assist other guests before finishing with us. Nothing major, but a little more focus on one guest at a time would make the experience smoother. The food at the bar, however, was excellent. Overall, the great location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff made it a very positive stay, and we would recommend it.
Our stay was very nice. We booked this location for our 10 year anniversary. The location, the great pool & restaurant being top 25. Although the pool was closed our entire stay we didn't get the luxury of relaxing and experiencing the amazing view of the 19th floor. We explored the city of Miami and it was nice. The hotel was safe, easy to book ubers, and a popular food market next door. We will definitely visit again.
We chose the Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami specifically for the pool, as we were traveling with our kids and were looking forward to a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we've had. Pool Closure – No Advance Notice: The pool was under maintenance during our stay, and not once did anyone mention this — not during booking, not at check-in, nothing. For a family with kids who chose this hotel because of the pool, this was a major letdown. A simple heads-up would have allowed us to make other arrangements. This level of communication is unacceptable for a premium property. Room Condition – Well Below Standard: For the price we paid, the room condition was honestly shocking: The flooring was visibly worn out and in clear need of replacement The shower head pipe was loose, wobbling back and forth — a basic maintenance issue that should never be overlooked The AC stopped working in the middle of the night and did not come back on until after 3 AM, leaving our family uncomfortable and sleep-deprived The comforter and sheets did not appear to be properly cleaned — unacceptable by any standard, let alone at this price point No Follow-Up from Staff: At no point during checkout or afterward did anyone ask how our stay was. No courtesy call, no feedback request — nothing. If the hotel had asked, we would have shared all of this directly. Instead, we're left to post it publicly along with photos as evidence. We really wanted to love this stay, and the location is great — but the execution fell far short of what any guest should expect, especially families paying a premium rate. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues before other families go through the same experience.
