Exceeded our expectations on several fronts. Couldn’t identify hotel outside the signage is very small . Bed and pillows were outstanding. Air conditioner was great . Food and service in Dans restaurant very good - live entertainment. Isabella greeted us at the desk at later check in- very friendly and welcoming - then she was also there to check us out the next am for check out. We will be back .
I’ve been having breakfast at the hotel every day. The service here is amazing and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Very accommodating, polite, and always making sure you have everything you need, and coffee always full! Special thanks to the amazing Gabby and Stefany! Very hard working and helpful staff! Ulises and Mikesha thank you for driving me around! Excellent! And Abu, Jayda, and Jorge for the excellent service at the Dan bar! These guys make sure the bar works clockwork! See you again!
Sophia at Cass St Coffee made this the best part of our stay! Had the best cup of coffee (I wanted it strong, she recommended a shot of espresso in the drip, which I’ve never had before! Amazing!) of my life and she was so sweet, it made our morning of travel smooth and delightful. I don’t know if she was in charge of the music but she was only playing bangers lol. Thank you!!
We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown! The beautifully restored historic architecture gives the hotel so much elegance and timeless charm, while still offering all the modern comforts you could ask for. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, and the central downtown location made exploring the area effortless. Above all, the hospitality is truly top-tier. A very special, heartfelt thank-you goes out to Isabella—her genuine friendliness, incredible kindness, and infectious sense of humor made our stay absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, cared for, and right at home. Between the stunning property, fantastic location, and outstanding team (especially Isabella!), Hotel Flor exceeded all our expectations. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back!
We did not stay at the hotel. We came through the hotel to go to an event sponsored by Fever. It was a wonderful jazz music concert featuring the music from Louis Armstrong and New Orleans Jazz. However, beforehand lots of people were milling around and they had this bar upstairs which used to be beautiful, but they have painted it all black and it looked terrible. They only offered four drinks and there was no seating. There were elderly people who were attending this event who had no place to sit. One of the men in our group gave up his seat for one of the ladies that needed one. I just found it crazy that you are hosting an event and you only have four drinks available. It’s not a bar that can make other drinks so our friends had to go downstairs to get a drink and bring it back up and on top of that you don’t have any seating it’s stand only and there’s no chairs at the bar. This needs to be fixed because people expect more when going to a hotel like this, women in dresses and expecting a nice evening out and this bar is so limited in every way. Not to mention completely uninviting in the decor I don’t know why they painted it all black, but it really looked like it belonged in a haunted house other than that the concert was wonderful sponsored by Fever. And the Dan restaurant located inside this hotel had great food. This is the one area that I felt was really needing help.
