We had a wonderful stay at this Marriott. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and updated furnishings. The view from the balcony really made for the perfect vacation. The pool area was well maintained and a e enjoyed the resort amenities like frozen smoothies, beach towels and chairs as well as complimentary snacks and champagne.
I am a travel agent from Global Travel and I am rating this review 5 because of Front Office Manager Natasha Joseph and housekeeper Nazilia, wonderful customer experience and interaction. She was attentive to my request and understanding to my issues. Hotel wise, very average. No microwave and you have to pay for parking onsite. They gave me a bad view from my room although I paid the normal rate and when I asked a separate agent advised they had better rooms that they were saving to charge higher rates. If you want a convenient spot, this is ideal due to the beach but you do not get much bang for your buck.
The room was nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Location was perfect. Food at the beach bar was absolutely delicious especially the ribeye and yucca fries. BUT I leave this review because of Sharon at the front desk. From the moment we walked in, she made me feel like I just walked in to her home and she was excited to host us. She was kind, friendly and very hospitable. She was definitely the "icing" to our stay there.
The location of this hotel is perfect. So many restaurants within walking distance, but also a bit away from the busy broad walk. The included bicycle and beach chair rentals are great - my wife and I used them everyday. We did run into a small issue with our air conditioner unit in our room, but the front office manager, Natacha, and technician, Jimmy, went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved promptly. They both provided excellent customer service and really made sure that our stay was comfortable. We will definitely be back!
We stay here often on our trips to Florida. The hotel staff is one of the friendliest staffs we’ve come across, and we are regular Marriott customers. The rooms are good size, and while older, are well maintained. There is a nice bar on the beach for drinks or lunch. The front desk provides water bottles and snacks for guests during the day. Location is nice because you can walk to a lot of restaurants on the boardwalk and of course the beach in front of the hotel. Highly recommend. The staff even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion!
