We booked a beautiful room for the day with a washer/dryer so we could do our laundry after getting off a week-long cruise early in the morning with a flight out later that night. We discovered the dryer did not work after washing a large load of clothes. The hotel staff was amazing and ended up taking all of our laundry and washing AND folding it for us so we could get to the airport on time. It's a great location with plenty of places to walk like CVS and restaurants. We didn't hit the pool, but it looked really nice, too.
What a lovely stay, the beds were incredibly comfortable as were the pillows and the sheets. The room was spectacularly clean. The staff were extremely friendly. Very conveniently located in the heart of Brickell, I took a walk around the pathway and it was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!
Great rooms with balconies with beatiful views. Very clean and modern, with helpful staff. Great place to stay near the fashionable shopping area. The hotel "restaurant" , though, is really just the bar with a few tables next to it for a seating area. We had breakfast only; the menu was fairly limited and the food was decent but not exceptional. Worth it if you're in a hurry
Our stay at the Fortune House Hotel Suites in Brickell started with significant complications when we tried to change our reservation. Unfortunately, it was simply not possible to rebook, and throughout the process we had the feeling that there was very little willingness from the hotel to help find a solution. At the front desk, the staff also did not come across as particularly friendly or helpful, which made the situation even more frustrating. Aside from that, the stay itself was mostly good. The room was comfortable and the room service was actually very good. However, there was another unpleasant surprise at the end. The small cans of water provided in the room were charged to our deposit at checkout for $8 each, even though similar water costs around $1–1.50 in any supermarket. There was only a small sign indicating that the items were part of a “snack bar,” along with a humorous note saying the snacks have no calories—but nowhere was it clearly stated that the items would be charged, let alone at such a high price. Overall, while the room and room service were good, the lack of transparency about charges and the unhelpful experience with the staff left a disappointing impression.
