Dream South Beach By Hyatt

Our stay was great, until checkout. I don't understand why lack of communication has become the norm and acceptable. The night prior we were told to scan our valet card to have our vehicle retrieved the following day. Before checking out we requested the vehicle assuming it would take a while. After completing checkout at the counter, we waited in the lobby for 25+ minutes before I went to grab my own vehicle. The garage is a two minute walk away. After talking to the valet, they told us that system wasn't working and that staff at the hotels were already tracking. This entire situation could have been avoided by asking whether we had valet a car. Mind you, you pay $50 for valet with in/out privileges. The room we upgraded to was actually decent! You can definitely tell the hotel has aged but the room was clean and well kept. We upgraded to avoid some of the noise but you definitely still hear everything from conversations to dump trucks in the AM. Location is perfect and you receive complimentary items part of the required resort fee you pay.

First time at Hyatt Dream longtime Hyatt member. Alex Drake and Tessa are the Dream Team….best at their jobs and deserves a massive raise. He was extremely helpful from explaining the parking to helping us with our luggage. Top tier service 100% and I wish I can give a 10 ⭐️ rating. Rooms are super cozy and very clean. Thank you Alex for making our stay here for my wife’s 63rd birthday great from the start. Amended review… when we came back to our room after my wife’s bday dinner it was very hot in the room and A/C was still saying 76 degrees… Antz Augustine handled the issue immediately and moved us into an ice cold igloo room lol. Antz is the man and made my wife and I extremely happy!!!! Such a kind and professional man,also comped our breakfast for the morning. The hotel is truly perfect, we stayed with my wife and daughter and found everything we were looking for: a perfect location, a comfortable environment, fantastic staff and a fantastic rooftop pool. The rooms are not huge but they are very well managed and very clean, for parking there is vallet but it is quite cheap, it is suitable all around restaurants. Mega recommended. I sincerely thank Rousseau who was very kind and made the service very fast and pleasant, the best.

Dream South Beach was the perfect choice for our special getaway with our 10-year-old granddaughter. Its location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach, Ocean Drive, and countless restaurants and attractions. As Hyatt Globalists, we were incredibly grateful for the generous upgrade to a beautiful Platinum Suite. Our granddaughter was thrilled, saying she felt like she was staying in a real "Barbie Dream House" with its stylish décor and rooftop pool! It made her first South Beach experience unforgettable. Despite the lively South Beach nightlife, our suite was surprisingly quiet. Our granddaughter slept soundly without hearing the street music, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches of complimentary earplugs and an electric sound machine, which helped us enjoy a restful night's sleep. The rooftop pool was a wonderful place to relax, and the complimentary beach chairs and towels made our beach days effortless and enjoyable. Above all, the warm, attentive staff made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Dream South Beach created memories our family will treasure for years to come. We highly recommend it for its exceptional service, outstanding location, thoughtful amenities, and memorable guest experience. We look forward to returning!
