First time in Key West and I just want to say everything was perfect and convenient for my stay. Clean rooms, perfect location, nice staff, convenient to book shuttle transportation, excursions & golf carts. I did not try the food on the resort but the drinks at the pool bar were great! Will definitely recommend & consider for my next visit!
Nicely renovated rooms. Clean, friendly staff. If you are planning a beach vacation to Key West, be sure not to come during the Key West seaweed season. The beach is unusable and the smell of the hydrogen sulfide gas (rotten eggs) is unbearable. Obviously, that is not Hilton's fault. The reason for the loss of 1 star is the coffee station in the room. You are provided with K-cup coffee but the K-cups do not fit in the coffee maker provided. Not well thought out.
This review is for a family resort day pass here ($45!). Folks at the front desk were so kind and stored our 4 big bags (and backpacks) all day for free. We were able to enjoy the beautiful freshwater pool and loungers and access to the pool bar/restaurant and AC bathrooms all day. They even gave us complementary cookies, bottled water, and on-request free shuttle to the airport! Simply lovely😍!
We had a great time at this resort and will definitely come back, but I am a bit concerned about a couple of things. The pros: 1) Concierge service was great. Lots of services available! 2) The pool and bar were awesome! I had a great time. 3) Staff were always helpful and kind. 4) The beds were super comfy! 5) The shuttle service to the airport and downtown were convenient and easier than taking taxis. The cons: 1) We left our room at 11 am for checkout but the cleaning staff were standing outside of our room waiting for us to leave. We left on time and I felt like it was a bit of a privacy issue. 2) There were charges to my room that I did not make. I spoke with the hotel staff on the phone and they were unable to find the source of one of the tips I had apparently made. I had left a tip on my bill, and an additional separate tip was added. The hotel refunded the difference, but this is sneaky and wrong behavior. Please check your receipt for hidden charges…it was kind of annoying and sneaky. I’m hoping it’s just one bad employee doing this or a system error that can be quickly resolved.
We came down to Key West for a spring break vacation, and our experience was amazing here at this hotel. I really loved the coastal style architecture of the lobby, and the pool area was very quiet and relaxing, and the bar was a very nice addition that adds the cherry on top. I felt very safe here and I could tell that it is kept up very well and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
