We had a great time staying at 24 North Hotel with our family. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious enough for a comfortable stay with kids. The hotel has a fun, laid-back atmosphere with a lovely pool area that our children really enjoyed.
However, we did have an issue with the mini fridge in our room, which had a strong rotten smell that wasn’t resolved during our stay. That was the one downside to an otherwise pleasant experience.
I love this hotel! It’s in the last stages of refurbishment/renovation and it all looks so GREAT….. BUT I was given a room on the fifth floor and the elevator was not working Properly… I was up and down those flight flights of stairs several times the five days that I was there…… on the day I checked out I had to literally go down five flights of stairs with my luggage… Not fun! I was there for five nights and unfortunately the volume on my TV was not working and three people tried, and they didn’t understand the remote either… Thank God I brought my laptop. I was able to watch. other than that, I have no complaints. I stayed at this property several times and I’ve always enjoyed my stay. Props to the cleaning staff!
We booked two rooms—our friends got the pool view, and we had the ocean view. Honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect after reading a few of the low reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay.
Yes, it can get a bit noisy at times—either from the main road or the roosters (as others have mentioned)—but we didn’t find it overwhelming or bothersome.
The rooms were clean, and the whole place had an upbeat vibe. We spent time lounging by the pool and even played a few rounds of ping pong. There’s a shuttle service available, but we opted to rent scooters from a shop nearby.
All in all, we’d definitely consider staying here again!
Room was nice. The front desk staff made it seem spectacular. It was nice. We had to pay a $50 per day amenity fee, even though we knew we would not be using them. We were there for the Super Bowl that I planned on watching in my room. The hotel blocked the Super Bowl in the rooms trying to force us to a watch party in the bar. Unacceptable.
First off the room we stayed in had been remodeled. It was nice clean and new. I loved that it was laminate floors throughout. Service was great. The manager was so helpful and when we needed more coffee it was brought right away. Location was my favorite part. It was on the north side of the island away from the loud parties but had a shuttle option if you wanted to go downtown. Also the pools were so nice!
