Black Dolphin Inn

Spent four nights staying at the Black Dolphin Inn for the first time staying here for a girl's trip. We could not have picked a nicer cozier, feel at home atmosphere. Loved our rooms, lit up courtyard off our balcony at night, to sitting on the front porch with the nice fans to keep it cool. The sweet staff Audrey and Jessie were AMAZING! These two young ladies made our trip even more memorable. You are so lucky to have them😊

My family and I recently stayed there while our power was out at home and it exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent and staff were super friendly. Our breakfast arrived to our room and was delicious. The room was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. It really felt like a warm and welcoming experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with a cozy and romantic atmosphere.

My family and I just had a delightful and enjoyable stay at the Black Dolphin Inn. From the moment we called to book our reservation, Taylor was so kind and made us feel so welcomed. The property is absolutely gorgeous and so well maintained. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Audrey who made us feel right at home. Our room was so spacious along with 2 king size beds that were so comfortable and a large bathroom area. Everything was so clean! The breakfasts every morning prepared by the chefs were such a treat! My little one keeps asking me since we returned home to make her pancakes “just like she had at the Black Dolphin Inn because they were so good!”. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and hearty! Jessi, one of the employees, was a ray of sunshine the mornings that we saw her. She was so happy and made sure we had everything we needed. It was such a nice perk to have complimentary coffee and teas in the main lobby to enjoy anytime we wanted (plus the complimentary chocolates too!). The property is located in a beautiful area, so quiet and serene. We loved talking to the staff every morning over breakfast and in the evening. Taylor was excellent and took great pride in making sure our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Black Dolphin Inn. Thank you to Taylor, Audrey, Jessi, the amazing chefs, and the whole team for making us feel so welcomed in your beautiful Bed and Breakfast! Keep up the great work! We cannot wait to go back again!

I’m an NSB native and my husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary without going out of town. We booked 2 nights at the Black Dolphin during Labor Day weekend and had the most amazing stay-cation!!! We were SO impressed by the beautiful rooms, cleanliness, attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious, everyone was so friendly, we even enjoyed a double rainbow view over the river at sunset. Experiencing my hometown as a tourist was so much fun, I can see why everyone loves coming here. Would absolutely recommend Black Dolphin to anyone visiting the area or any local looking for a place to get away without going far!
