What a fantastic experience learning about the history of Florence, visiting some areas we would never have seen & enjoying various wines. Vera was an amazing guide, thank you! Highly recommended
We had an outstanding time in our wine tasting - wine window tour of Florence! We had the best guide who was knowledgeable and full of so much extra information that we frankly didn’t expect. We had a blast and would highly recommend it to anyone!
This was a wonderful way to experience a part of the story of this beautiful city. Our guide was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and made the navigation extremely easy.
Gracious guide; very knowledgeable; added a huge element to our 1st visit to Florence; loved the history element and personal touch; Highly recommend.
We ended up being the only 2 people for the tour. Isabella, our guide, is very good at what she does. We had a great time and enjoyed all of the extra knowledge walking through the city center. We ended at Vino Tasting which is located in the heart of San Lorenzo. Super nice Enoteca and staff. Vinci, the sommelier, was a super star. Very knowledgeable and very easy to talk with. We highly recommend the tour and Vino Tasting
Our tour guide was fantastic. A great history of Florence tour while seeing the wine windows. Wonderful time!
We had an amazing tour guide who walked us through the history of the city, wine, and wine windows!
Great tour, not only to see wine windows of Florence and try its delicious appetizers and wine, but also to hear about its history told by a very amazing guide
The tour was great! Really liked it
Vera was incredible. It was raining but that didn't stop us having a great tour of Florence. It is a great walking tour, so you get your bearings, with Vera sharing history and architectural insights. The wine windows were fun and the wine was good. The tutored tasting at the end was was also great. This is a perfect way to start your visit to Florence.
Walking so wear comfortable shoes. Goes rain or shine so be prepared if chance of rain bring umbrella.
Super educational, both about the history of Florence, its wines, and its merchant families! A great introduction to the city
We loved the wine window tour! Vera was a wonderful tour guide! We had so much fun! Highly recommend.
This tour was such a fun and informational experience. I felt like I was walking through Florence with a new friend, who shared lots of fun facts and history about Florence. The wine windows are such a cool tradition, and I love them many of them are operational once again. I would highly recommend this tour!
Vera was an excellent guide! We were a group of 5 and she navigated us through the busy streets with ease! She is a great storyteller and has great knowledge of the history of the wine windows . We loved ending at the tasting room and bought several bottles to ship home. Highly recommend Vera and the whole adventure!
Vera was a knowledgeable guide, our group had 10 people, enjoyed meeting them. Lots of walking on uneven streets. Enjoyed the appetizers and the wine at the end.
This was a last minute add-on for us but we’re all very happy we did. Vera, our guide, was excellent and it was a great mix of information on wine and the history of wine windows as well as history of Florence in general. The tasting at the end was also excellent. I forget the name of the sommelier, but she was also very knowledgeable and flexible with the requests made by our group.
The wine walk was a great way to learn things about the city! Our host was so knowledgeable & friendly. The walking tour and wine window participation was followed by a lovely wine tasting & appetizers. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Grazie!
We walked through the streets of Florence with Vera our tour guide. She was knowledgeable about the city, its history and wine!!
The guide was wonderful We saw the entire city and the guide explained everything Would definitely recommend to anyone
Excellent experience. Super fun tour and the history lesson was great. Guide Laura was amazing and so interesting.
We have been wanting to experience this tour for so long and it did not disappoint. The history behind these windows is fascinating! Our tour guide ( can’t remember her name! Young woman, long brown hair) was incredibly knowledgeable of this history and of the Duomo and surrounding buildings. Small group fabulous tour!
We very much enjoyed the wine windows tour. Our guide was excellent. She gave us some interesting history of Florence and took us to see several wine windows. Most were closed but we got glasses of wine from 2 windows. We ended the tour at a wine shop where we did a tasting of 3 wines. The sommelier , Vinci, did a great job choosing wines based on our favorites. We really enjoyed the tour.
The experience was very educational regarding the sights in Florence. We didn't realize there are over 100 wine windows around Florence. We noticed them even after the tour. I would highly recommend this tour during the first couple of days of your stay in Florence.
This walk was a pure joy —so much rich history and a wonderful guide!! The stops were well planned and the final tasting was a perfect end to our adventure!
Great way to see a few One windows and taste some excellent wine. Our guide to a great deal and was very personable.
Our tour guide Laura was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and fun! She showed us parts of the city we otherwise wouldn't have seen. She taught us about the history of the wine windows as well as historical buildings and sights along the way. You could tell she loved Florence and was super proud of the history.
There was only one window wine tasting that actually happened. We were expecting at least 3 or more. We were showed a few windows but no wine tasting. The guide left the tour when we sat down for the wine tasting and appetizers which was just subpar.
Our experience and tour guide was amazing. She answered all questions that we had asked and was very welcoming and positive. I suggest this experience to anyone that is interested. Unfortunately I do not remember her name, but she was an amazing and made us feel very welcome and actually like she wanted to be there and enjoyed what she was doing.
Our guide was very nice and interesting She gave us a lot of information. Since we were only two people on the tour, she gave us extra information. Thank you!
Really enjoyed hearing about the history of the wine windows and also seeing some other interesting places such as the hospitales of the innocents etc Chiara was a really good guide who showed us many interesting places and stories
A passionate tour guide and a very walkable tour through the main parts of Florence. Come ready for history of the Medicis and excellent appetizers and wine at the finish.
