It was a very good tour. Camilla had a lot of knowledge about the museum. I personally felt she walked way ahead of the group. Other than that I would definitely recommend the tour of the Uffizi Museum

Reviews
Laura was very knowledgeable, interesting and engaging. She talked about the art and the history of Florence.
See old masters paintings. Wonderful museum. Camille our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable with great communication.
Hard to understand guide. She was lovely but seemed anxious - maybe a smaller group would be better. After information from guide a chance to view gallery instead of moving so quickly.
Debora did a great job of explaining the whole context of art as it evolved up to and through the Renaissance so we understood what we were seeing. 5/5 stars!
Excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable. However it was frustrating as there are now so many visitors to the museum you can’t really stop and take in the art - which is the whole point! There are also less chairs which is difficult as it’s a huge museum and takes hours to go through. They need to restrict the numbers and provide more seating.
Great way to learn about the history of the passageways and the significant art works. Debora our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting
Camilla was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable and fun and guided us expertly through a very crowded museum.
Deborah was very knowledgeable and also very concerned that we were well taken care of. And she had a nice sense of humor. Great tour.
Great tour. Tour guide Deborah was very knowledgeable. It was great being able to access the corridors.
Lovely guide with great knowledge about art and museum! Wonderful experience and awe inspiring art.
Deborah did a wonderful job she explained so many things gave us all of the feeling of history. I would definitely recommend Deborah.
We had a wonderful tour of the Uffizi Gallery with Camilla! She was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job taking us through the highlights without making the tour feel overwhelming. She answered all of our questions, navigated the crowds seamlessly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend!
A great introduction to the uffezi museum. Camilla knew her stuff and managed to take us on a journey in the development of renaissance art. Whole heartedly recommend.
Camilla was a wonderful guide to our small group of 5. Great English, very knowledgeable and passionate about the artwork and history, making the tour highly interesting and engaging. Would highly recommend her!
Laura was a wonderful guide. She was kind and shared so much information about the artworks. You can tell she truly loves talking about the history and story behind the art pieces.
Our original booking time was cancelled due to unforeseen emergency with guide, but Walks in town were quick to offer alternative time which we could do …with an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. We learnt a lot and it was lovely to have things explained with such enthusiasm
Camilla was extremely knowledgeable and a lovely tour guide of the Uffizi, she made the experience personable & bought a great energy to our tour!
Camilla was excellent guide easy to understand unitedly and spent our time on the most important works of art covering more than 500 years of history. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful tour of the Uffizi and Vasari Corridor. Our tour was booked for morning, but our guide was sick, and we were offered several options for other tours. We really appreciated the professionalism and ease with which they solved this! Our guide, Francesca, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the art and history. We would never had seen so much in depth without her insights. Despite the crowds, we felt like we were on a private art tour. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!
Debora was absolutely incredible! Her knowledge is outstanding. The art is so much more meaningful when you understand it. Absolutely recommend you do this tour!!!!
Debra was lovely, very informative and made the visit very enjoyable.
My experience was good, Micheal was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide!
A big thank you to Walks in Town who were very helpful in placing me last minute into a tour round the Uffizi Gallery. Loved the tour - our guide, Camilla, was very knowledgeable and I saw the paintings in a different light by the end of the visit. She's definitely inspired me to look more into art history for when I return to Florence again!
This was an amazing morning!! Meeting place was so easy to find. Our guide was awesome and the art incredible! Visiting the museum with someone explaining the major paintings was pretty awesome. Walking the corridor was pretty cool too!
Our guide Debora Fiaschi made this trip well with the money! Her enthusiasm, explanations, and descriptions not only covered what were looking at but also putting the art into historical context as it evolved. I would have never gotten as much out of this gallery without a guide.
It is a great tour of the Museum. There’s lots to see and take in, with so much history of Florence, and of art. Our tour guide Deborah was fantastic. She has a wealth of knowledge and was great at explaining the historical significance of all of the exhibits as we moved through the museum. And she was very nice and fun to learn from. She made the experience for us very accessible and interesting.
Camilla was EXCELLENT!! Even though we were exhausted, she made facts interesting and engaging. Highly recommend her! Thank you, Camilla! We would have ranked this a 5-star experience but the Vasari Corridor Guide was terrible. She didn’t speak up so many did not hear what she said. She seemed annoyed to be there. Also- the her co-workers didn’t respect our tour because their voices carried and drowned the guide out - we couldn’t hear her already but their background conversations made it impossible. Please let them know they can be better. Camilla… 5 stars! Vasari Corridor Guide- 0 stars
Well worth the money. Nice to have a guide explaining what we were seeing. Our guide Deborah was very knowledgeable and fun.
Camilla was fantastic Very knowledgeable and terrific at imparting that knowledge as we visited key paintings Also very good at navigating the people traffic and making space to get up close
This was one of the best tours I’ve been on while I’ve been Italy. Our guide Debra was excellent, an obvious passion for art which was contagious. Highly recommend this tour!
The guide was very knowledgeable and unfortunately due to crowds and a time line was a little rushed. Really cool to walk the corridor. Guide did a great job of explaining everything
Camilla was very informative, taking us to the highlights in the Ufizzi, without overdoing the detail, and was clear when answering our questions. Thank you Camilla, for a very memorable tour.
Fabulous guide! Very knowledgeable on art, charming and showed us the highlights. The Vasari Corridor is a must do! Walk in the steps of the Medici.
This was a small group tour of the Uffizi gallery and walk through the Varassi corridor over the ponte vecchio. Michael’s was an excellent guide who was generous with his knowledge and both friendly and precise with his content. The tour touched on all the highlights of the gallery and left us feeling as though we had learnt much about Florence and its great artists. The walk also ng the corridor is a must do. Incredible to think this was were the Medici once walked too.
Duccio was incredibly knowledgeable about the styles and details of the art! The corridor, as others have said is really not worth the extra cost.
Debra was an excellent guide- very knowledgeable and good about corralling the small group. The headsets worked well to hear everything.
Camellia did a great job. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the art and did a great job navigating the crowds with us. She made sure we saw the really important “musts” at the Uffizi and delivered us right on time for the Vasari Corridor tour,
It gives you an understanding of Renaissance art. Avoids wandering aimlessly and skips the huge queue. The guide was not only knowledgeable but passionate about the subject and ensured we were up close and personal to the individual works. With the huge crowds that proved invaluable.
Our guide, whose name escapes me at the moment - sorry - was EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable, and very charming. She helped us see the art with new eyes, and we learned a ton. Thrilled that this tour was skip-the-line. Florence has become a very popular destination, and the Ufizzi is a MUST. This is definitely the way to do it.
Very skilled and dedicated guide.
We had a wonderful tour of the Uffizi, which gave us great background, history and stories about the collection.
Francesca was a great guide, the tour wasn’t long, but it was packed with local history and information about the development of western art. She kept my teen engaged and I appreciated seeing the development of perspective and subject matter from the 12th to the 17th centuries. The Vasari corridor add on wasn’t worth a the cost, but it did get us priority entry and saved 30 minutes entering the gallery.
Anastasia was a fantastic tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the artwork in the Uffizi and told us many details we would not have picked up on our own. The only reason this is not getting 5 stars is that the tour company, Walks in Town, changed the time very late the night before. Since we also did the Vasari Corridor, the end time was very close to our next booked tour. No time to get a decent lunch.
Great tour. Exactly as described with clear WhatsApp messages on the day confirming meeting point, ID required and tickets for the corridor add on. Ivano was an excellent guide getting us in smoothly with effective head sets and delivering interesting details with great knowledge throughout the morning. The tour ended with us being dropped off to join the Vasari corridor walk over to Pitti Palace. Really great start to the day, thank you.
This guided tour made the museum visit so much more meaningful! Wandering on my own would have been just way too overwhelming. Deborah, our guide was excellent and was able to explain everything. Her observations made this tour a much richer experience. She didn't take us through the Vasari Corridor; we were under the watchful eyes of Uffizi staff for that. The corridor itself is plain and unremarkable except for one section with a collection of Roman busts. It opens into a courtyard of Pitti Palace.
Our guide was great and very into his job. Best perspectives to appreciate the museum . We would do it again
Duccio was one of the best guides we’ve had - and we’ve traveled a great deal. He gave us perspective on the artworks and artist that transformed our understanding of the many beautiful and famous paintings and sculptures. Specifically, he helped us view paintings from different angles to uncover hidden characteristics such as movement and focus. He tailored his commentary to our experience and perspective which further enhanced our time in the museum. Conversely- after we left Duccio we went on to the Vasari Corridor. While the story surrounding its creation is interesting, the experience of walking through it is not worth the price of admission. It is mostly a simple hallway with some views of the Arno. There is a long section with antique statues. The walk is escorted but there is no commentary. It ends at the Boboli gardens and unfortunately on a rainy day we had to walk outside all the way back to the Uffizi to collect our umbrellas - note they don’t allow long umbrellas in the gallery.
The tour of the Uffizi gallery was very interesting and educational. Our guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable and taught us much about the development of art over the relevant period. The visit to the Vasari Corridor was disappointing because there was little to see and the Uffizi guide provided little information.
The tour was supposed to be at 9am and we were supposed to be there at 8:45. The morning of the tour, an hour before , while we were eating breakfast and not looking at our phones, they sent a text changing the tour to 8:30. We almost missed it. My son was walking around early trying to kill time that we thought we had. I just happy to hear a guy calling out names and he started walking away. I called my son and he ran and caught up with us. We had a prior bad experience with the same exact tour. We signed up and paid for a 1pm tour on NEW YEAR’s day. We structured our day around it and we were excited to see the UFIZZI on our last day in Florence. When we got there we found out the tour was cancelled due to New Year’s Day as the museum was closed. We had to pay to stay another night in Florence in order to see it. They should know when the museum is open and not book tours on that day as it altered our plans and cost us money and time. The tour guide Ducho was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job, however, you had to keep an eye on him as he walked quickly and was easy to lose in the crowd.
