Wonderful guided tour with Mirella, who was so knowledgeable about the art and the history of Florence.

I was a little upset with this tour! I was mislead into believing tour included seeing the David sculpture.
The guide was good. She was very knowledgeable but talked fast and with a heavy accent so was kind of hard to understand.
We totally missed our meeting point and circled the block and asked for directions and came right back to the same spot. The tiny office is situated behind an ATM machine and easy to miss. The check-in process went fine once there. Our guide, Rhetta, I believe was her name, was personable and knowledgeable. She took care of us well and although I have a hearing impairment, it was easier for me to hear her than my guide from a day earlier on a different tour. The Uffizi Gallery was beautiful and very crowded. Getting around to the various rooms and seeing the different artworks was quite difficult. I would have preferred spending less time talking about each piece we stopped at and covering more ground, instead. I also feel that the travel industry needs to do better for hearing-impaired people. Better headsets, Bluetooth devices or something that helps people understand more of what the guides are trying to convey.
Perfect pace for an otherwise overwhelming museum. The meeting place is easy to find - a business front on the street alongside the Galileo museum. The staff was very friendly. The walk through was thorough, informative, and engaging. There is freedom at the end to keep exploring. The tour guide Anna was excellent! I appreciated her taking opportunities for us to sit when able to and she was a great shepherd to keep us together in a hectic place. We went straight in with her from the ticket office.
The tour was excellent and our guide really did a great job sharing the history and catering to a small but wide age group! Highly recommend.
The Uffizi Gallery is very WOW! I really enjoyed this tour with our guide. She was able to navigate a very busy museum day which was appreciated. The pace of the tour was great with interesting stories and information shared about the pieces we stopped at.
The tour was well organised and well paced with time to explore on one’s own after the tour. Cafeteria was good with view.. meeting point was easy to find. Our guide Mirella was excellent - friendly , clear, and knowledgeable with the perfect amount of detail. Amidst a huge crowd of visitors to the museum , she helped our small group gracefully navigate to must-see works, providing valuable historical context throughout, and readily answering questions as they arose. Recommend.
Our guide was very informative and shared good knowledge about the works we were shown. I would pick this tour again with the guide we had. Well worth the expense.
This Uffizi Gallery Tour is my favorite tour in all of Florence. It is small enough to get up-close access to the amazing artworks and have any questions answered with the expert guide. Manuela was likely the very best, most informative guide I have ever had, and I have previously taken this tour and many others in Florence. She explained the reasons for many details in paintings, gave historical context to the artworks and their artists, and generally added so much to my experience that I wish I could have had her for more of my tours.
Excellent tour. Laura was very knowledgeable about the art and the gallery. I wish somebody had told us we needed IDs to get in!
Great small group tour with only 6 people. Start was delayed by 2 hours but we managed to fit it in. Our guide (Maria) was really knowledgeable and friendly.
Excellent tour with Natalia! Guided us expertly to the highlights of the museum. Very informative. Also, one person in the office made an exceptional effort to guide me to their office meeting point.
Beautiful artwork. Our guide Mirella gave us wonderful information on the main pieces and enough time at each without rushing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this tour so you can better understand the history of the building and the artwork.
Perfect tour to see the most famous parts of the Uffizi, and you can check out the rest on your own after the tour
We enjoyed our tour of the Ufizzi Gallery. I rated it a 4 out of 5, because I could not understand the guide. My headset had some static.
Very knowledgeable tour guide , Cris. City Tours staff, spoke excellent english. Took us to the highlights. Small group indeed, which we preferred. Also cute shops and bag artisans next to the tour office. Got great bargains there. That's a plus while waiting for the tour to start.
Short tour with guide but you see the important thing. guide was very helpful, knowledgeable and cozy
The Uffizi is beautiful. Packed obviously and our tour guide did a very good job at navigating the various stops along the way. Thank you for that. Unfortunately, the radio system was terrible and the fact that she didn’t hold it close to her mouth made it very difficult to hear. Combined with a thick Italian accent, the low tone, and terrible headsets made for a disappointing tour. As opposed to the visit into the Palazzo Vecchio, with a guide who spoke very loudly, and did not have a strong accent. Sad, because I’m sure some of the details of the most famous works of art in the world, would have been wonderful to hear. Unfortunately, we had to go back and read about them.
Great experience with an excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable guide.
Worst guide we’ve ever had. She seemed angry and frustrated by the delays getting in, despite telling us it was always like that at the Uffizi on Tuesdays. We spent much of the allotted tour time in lines so she gave us a perfunctory tour and said she wouldn’t give us the time we had paid for. Not worth the money.
Informative and well paced. Very beautiful sculptures and master piece paintings. Art affectation folks would love this museum.
An overcrowded day at the museum. Skip the line was a 30 minute wait in line. Guide gave us 45 minutes on 4/5 paintings, nowhere near what we thought it would be.
Our guide was excellent and knew her history!! The museum was so so crowded. We were prepared for crowds but not to the extent we experienced. Nothing can top seeing the statute of David!!
Good to do to get the highlights in what would otherwise be an enormous undertaking. If you get Francisco you’re in luck. He really knows his stuff and makes it all fascinating.
We really enjoyed our tour of the Uffizi!! Our guide was 'SO knowledgeable about not only the art, but the history of the era and stories behind the individual pieces. We were amazed about how much we learned in our morning together! We appreciated our guide's enthusiasm and depth of knowledge. The smaller group format was perfect for our family; we could hear, stay with the group, and ask questions, which she happily and attentively answered.
This was an excellent tour. Francesco was incredibly knowledgeable and helped bring the paintings to life. I simply would not have the understanding of the artwork without Francesco generously sharing his knowledge and personal appreciation. Art can offer a wonderful glimpse back in time at the social and political environment and this was made real for me during the tour. Just amazing!
Excellent overview of the Uffitzi! Would have missed a lot were it not for our incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide Emmanuela. She was great! Had a lovely tour and the works are amazing.
Our guide was great! I really appreciated her knowledge and the size of our group. It was great way to maximize our time at the Uffizi.
Very well organized; the guide was excellent and very thorough in explaining the details of the various artworks in the museum; I highly recommend it if you want to get a comprehensive chronology of the development of Renaissance era in Florence and Italy
Very timely great experience. We had a great guide. The museum and the tour and skip the line was excellent! Book it trust me.
The tour guide was really organized and knowledgeably. Also , she kept things moving at a good pace and was easy to understand.
Nice tour of the highlights of the museum. Guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Was nice to skip the "non must sees" as we are not art aficionados.
Great tour, lovely host - Tom - who showed us all the key highlights in a fun way. This tour is perfect if you're a bit short on time but want to experience the gallery's best offerings.
We really enjoyed the way our guide placed the art in the Uffizi in the context of the history of Florence. It helped us appreciate the locality of the art, making it more than just a collection of Renaissance art but reflecting the history of Florence.
We booked this at the last minute - deciding the night before the tour to see if there was any guided tours of the Uffizi available. With six in our group, we were glad to get a spot. An unexepected traffic jam caused our guide to be late for our tour, but this was not an issue. The staff called us the morning of the tour to confirm that we knew where to meet them -- and that was a welcome change from previous tours with other companies. The meeting spot was next to a bar which allowed us to get breakfast and cafe before the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. She taught us about history and placed the art in context of that. She helped us see distinctive differences between pieces and artists - things we would not have been able to pick up on without her. We were able to ask a lot of questions and learned a lot in our 1.5 hours with her. She also made recommendations for other things to see after our official tour ended and shared some ideas about where to visit in Florence.
The day before they changed us the date. Fortunately we can do it the next day. The gallery is expectacular and our guida, Anna, was wonderful, she has a lot of knowledge ang do a great explain.
Loved that we had a private guided tour. She was amazing and very knowledgeable about all the artwork that we wanted to see
Short walk from meeting point to museum. Guide very kind and knowledgable. They gave us headphones that plug into a little radio so we could hear the guide perfectly. Tour covered one floor but you could walk to first floor if you wanted after the tour.
We couldn’t go because we got an email from the city that the gallery was closed due to a broken air conditioner. We were very disappointed.
The Uffizi is crowded, but don’t miss the opportunity to see this amazing museum. There are less expensive ways to visit this gorgeous collection, but I highly recommend taking the Viator small group tour. Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, Julia, brought the works of art to life. We learned both art and Italian history from her stories. She was very kind and inclusive with our grandchildren and tried to make certain they were enjoying and learning from the experience. The communications from Viator and their local representative, City Tour Florence, were excellent.
It was an excellent experience! I could not believe how fortunate I was to get a ticket to Uffizi Gallery just the day before the tour. Our tour guide Sylvia was knowledgeable and patient.
Our tour guide, Sylvia, did an excellent job explaining the history behind the Medici family and all the great pieces of art displayed inside.
Well organized. Wonderful and educational. Made the artwork relatable. Highly recommend. Enjoyed the storytelling.
Very informative. Guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the museum. We had the opportunity to see main pieces in the museum because we had a very limited schedule.
We booked from a cruise that was in a port 75 minutes away with typical traffic. We left from the port three hours before our scheduled Viator tour. Unfortunately, there was a multi-car pileup with three fatalities that completely shut down the highway. We called the Viator office to explain our situation, and they said to get there when we could. We arrived at 10:30 and they gave us our museum tickets but said there would be no tour. There was absolutely no effort to get us onto a later tour, nor would they refund any part of our payment, even though the reason we were late was no fault of our own. They were absolutely no help at all and we were out a significant amount of money. Needless to say, we didn't book any more Viator trips for the rest of the two-week cruise. They lost money on the deal.
The driver was waiting right outside of baggage claim. He was very nice and grabbed my bags. The trip to our hotel was quick and efficient.
There is some walking, but a lot of standing in one place. Crowded but lots to look at. Our guide was incredible. Very knowledgeable. I would book with this company again. So much information in a small amount of time. Can’t say enough about how much we learned.
A Very good guide and a very nice tour in the uffizi gallery , we enjoyed it very much. Grazie mille!
This was not the tour for me and my family. The guide was very knowledgeable but spent so much time on every painting that we were frankly turned off. I would rather have spent less time on each painting and seen more. The tour ended very abruptly and by that time we were all exhausted.
