Uffizi Gallery Small-group Tour With Optional Vasari Access

It was okay but I often found it difficult to understand the guide. Not really worth $75. An audio guide would have been just fine.

Would not recommend this tour - at least not with our guy nor when we went (noon mid-week in October). The gallery was so hot and full of people you could barely move, much less keep up with the guide. And, his accent was so think I caught maybe one in ten words. He dwelled too long on specific paintings to the exclusion of many others, making it boring overkill. Definitely don’t recommend.

Our guide was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. She kept us out of the thunderstorm too!

Excellent overview of the progress of art through the renaissance period. Our guide was fantastic. You will see the progression of the realism and detail in the art as the tour proceeds. You will see some rare early work by Michelangelo. This museum is a must-see in Florence.

Knowledgeable and kept my the tour interesting. He knows the history and back story of the paintings and the maestro’s that created the paintings and sculptures.

Crowds were insane, everyone wants to see these fabulous works of art..we waited longer than anticipated for a private tour.. no one's fault..Just super crowded. Tour guide was informative and great with the kids. Stunning corridors and breathtaking works of art..

We have now taken seven guided tours of various museums and cathedrals. The Uffizi Gallery tour,guided by Anna, has been our favorite. Anna Was very knowledgeable. Instruct the correct balance between explaining the history and the differences in the artist techniques.,

Good overview of the important pieces in the gallery. Small group very personal. Guide was very knowledgeable. Would have been long wait to get in otherwise.

We weren't able to find the guide and they started the tour without us. They told us to find their office which we finally did and then told us to go to the gallery and try to find the guide who had a blue ribbon around her neck. Good luck there. We never found her but enjoyed the gallery but we paid for a guided tour. We were not offered any refund.

Tour got off to a late start so not sure how much we missed. Suggest not waiting for people who are late. Not fair to the rest of the group. Otherwise tour was good.

We did the 9:30 tour. Our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable about so many artists! She was friendly, efficient and professional. I learned more than I expected, and I would recommend a tour with her ( I can't remember her name) anytime!

Fast track quick tour 90 minutes then we lingered in the museum for another hour. If you want a more intensive experience, get the long tour. This was a good download of the early renaissance works and historical highlights. Guide was good and skipping the line was super on busy Tuesdays.

Mirella was a great tour guide . She had great historical knowledge and it made the whole Uffizi Gallery experience come to life. Very efficient and detailed which I enjoyed

We booked 7 different tours and experiences through Viator in Rome, Florence, Venice and Como and all were excellent or exceeded expectations. This was the only one where the operator was unhelpful, did not have a sense of customer service, and made our experience worse and more costly. In retrospect, we would’ve been better off just getting our own tickets to the Uffizi and renting an audio tour which we ended up doing.

Guided tour of the key artworks in the Uffizi Gallery. Our tour guide Stephie was fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and stayed a further 2 hours to go through more of the gallery.

We had the pleasure of joining two small group tours in one day: the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery, both led by the exceptional Ilary. At the Uffizi Gallery, Ilary masterfully guided us through the highlights of one of the world’s most important art collections. Her ability to navigate the crowds meant we saw all the most significant masterpieces within just 1.5 hours—something that would have been impossible on our own. Her insights gave new life to the works of Botticelli, Leonardo, and others. After the tour, we had the option to stay and explore more at our own pace. Later in the day, we joined Ilary again for the Accademia Gallery and Michelangelo’s David. Her storytelling was exceptional—she helped us understand Michelangelo not only as a genius artist but as a man shaped by his time, his rivals, and his personal journey. She connected history to the present in a way that felt personal and meaningful. A delightful surprise was the collection of rare and precious musical instruments included in the Accademia tour—another layer of Florence’s cultural richness. Both tours were inspiring, educational, and deeply enjoyable. Ilary’s passion, clarity, and talent for connecting with her audience made this a truly enriching day.

Guide was knowledgeable and informed. Good tour. Would have been difficult and nit nearly as interesting to tour the museum without a guide.

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our guide knew a lot of information and was friendly and personable. Her English was excellent and she was easy to understand. We had been to the Uffizi before without a guide, and my husband and I agree that with a tour was the way to go. We learned a lot. Besides that, I booked the tour while jet-lagged for the wrong date. The office smoothly transferred our reservation to the correct time and day with no hassle.

Our Uffizi guide was knowledgeable and amusing. He covered an amazing amount of art in just an hour and a half. We spent another couple of hours in the museum with the same entry tickey.

So much beauty and history in one place. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the art, explaining to us minute details which made the art more memorable. Our guide’s passion for art came through and he taught me so much and explained details that helped me appreciate it all. I am delighted that we took his tour.

The tour guide was excellent. Knowledgeable and kind with a good sense of humor! The only trouble was finding the meeting point in the first place but after that, it was great!

It took 40 minutes just to get into the museum. This was not an enjoyable tour. The guide told us the same thing over and over again. I would not advise you take this tour.

Guide was good. Tour was interesting but Uffizi was crowded. Still fun. Not sure it was worth the price though.

It's all about the guide - Christopher was passionate about the work and he made the trip exciting - We were very happy and I would've liked to spend the day with him doing more than we did - it was only 2 hours - but we could've listened all day -
