Very disappointed in this company. I booked this tour on July 12th as it was important to us. On the evening of September 22nd after they sent us the tickets earlier in the day they cancelled it for no reason given. At that point we weren’t able to reschedule and ended up having to walk around the museum without any guide whatsoever. Our money was refunded, but that was completely not the point. We booked this well in advance to make sure that we got the best experience while in Florence. Instead, we got the worst. Do not trust this company! Completely unacceptable!!!

Alex was exceptional in sharing her art knowledge and enthusiasm. Her sincere concern for providing a great experience was so evident. The gallery is extremely ceowded and she was most assertive but polite in ensuring our small group was positioned well to see wach work she spoke about. You won't be disappointed with Alex as your guide.
There was no tour. We were scammed. It was free entry Sunday. And skip the line was not allowed which is what we paid for. The tour guide DID NOT show up. Is and two other people were at the designated meeting place early and stayed late. Cost us a day of aggravation in Rome and we did not get on the Uffizi which was most important to us. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!
We had an amazing and engaged tour guide that took us through some of the main highlights of the Gallery. Though only 1,5 hours for a place that massive is a bit short, so I would recommend anyone to take a tour that's slightly longer.
The admission process was seemless. Our guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We highly recommend the Uffizi guided tour and Alex!
Don't take a risk with this tour! One minute after booking this tour I tried to contact Italy Pass Tours to make a change, but I never received a response. Extremely poor customer service. If their management is like this, I can guess how the tour actually is.
For a “skip the line tour” the guide was at least 30 minutes late. This delay affected the rest of our plans for the day. When the guide arrived she was frazzled. Headset didn’t work and when changed out, that one didn’t work either. For 3 of us, this tour was not inexpensive. Really wish I could get a refund or at least a partial refund.
The lady who took us around was probably an excellent teacher- she gave us very detailed information on each piece of art she showed us. I think it would have been helpful if she had asked what periods or artists we were interested in. She spent over a third of the time in medieval art, which the four of us were not interested in. I had to remind her that we only had an hour and a half, so she talked a little faster, but continued many details. We made it only as far as Michelangelo and Botticelli. If the original David was there, we never saw it. She also took very small slow steps, even though we left one member of our party, who had mobility problems, on a bench outside. This was my bucket list for Florence, and we were all very disappointed.
Administratively an absolute shambles- we arrived at the designated meeting point only to find a lot of other people waiting to go on tours and no rep!!! After fifteen minutes discovered the rep, standing 10 yards away with a tiny sign saying Italy Pass hidden behind his back! After a while we gathered that the guide had gone off with just 2 customers leaving 6 of us waiting around like lemons. The rep tried to phone the guide but it took him a good 10 minutes to even get her number- and then she didn’t answer anyway. Our tour was meant to be at 11:05, and we had all been there since at least 10 minutes before. Eventually the rep did some sort of deal with another guide operator who offered us the tour at 12:45, which we did. The museum is absolutely enormous, and so an hour and a half barely scratched the edges, though the guide was knowledgeable, and ran us swiftly through medieval art through to Leonardo da Vinci and Michealangelo , where our meter ran out. Will probably have to go back quite a few more times. Semi private is a misnomer- there is nothing private about it, as you are there with the rest of the hoards, and as it’s via a radio linked earpiece it could have been for 30, instead of the eight and it wouldn’t have made any difference to what you, the customer got. All in all a stressful experience that cost a lot for what you got. If it had started on time, there might have been a chance to carry on round the museum, but e had to leave as we had other commitments
My tour was set for 11 o’clock, but I received an email if I could come at 10:30 and to arrive 15 minutes early. Got there at 10 o’clock and waited and the tour didn’t leave till 1045. This was supposed to be a quick entrance and took 40 minutes to get in. People within individual tickets got in a lot quickerThe person with the tickets had to run back and get more tickets for other members because she didn’t have enough.
The Uffizi gallery itself was overwhelming so I’m glad we had a guide to see the highlights. The Birth of Venus was amazing. Unfortunately our tour guide spoke very fast and it was difficult to understand him and appreciate what we were seeing.
Was nice to have someone to guide you through the museum which is very large. Tour guide was a little late from her earlier tour and rushed through her spiel, nothing terribly interesting.
Our guide was great and the tour was the right length of time. I felt like we were able to see the highlights and learn quite a bit about the history and significance of the art there.
Get a guided tour, then plan to stay and go back to certain areas again, and especially explore the first floor offerings. After my informative tour, I spent another 3 hours at the museum.
I am frustrated because of the unsympathetic response I was given by your team. I was told to go to a certain statue to meet for the tour. I researched the statue since I was not familiar with the one spoken of. I ended up with a bad recommendation of which statue it was and therefore ended up being seven minutes late for the tour. I asked if I could catch up to them and they said no. I asked if there was another tour or another way to help this be sorted out. They said no and just gave me my ticket with no tour. So, I am very disappointed with this experiences and treatment. I, at least, would expect a partial refund for all besides the ticket price itself. I was really looking forward to this tour
Extremely knowledgeable guide who ensured we saw the highlights at the Uffizi. We could have wasted a lot of time aimlessly wandering around. Very enjoyable tour.
Great tour. Guide Angela was informative and very personable. She managed the huge crowds and found a way to move us around them.
Andrea was an excellent guide, so knowledgable of history, art and Florence. We could not have asked for a better experience. She invited and responded to our questions and drew our atttention to aspects of the art that we would not have noticed. Andrea was a 10 out of 10! Thank you.
Fabulous visit to the Uffizi this morning. Sadly I can’t remember the name of lady guide as we were switched group at the last minute (she had long dark hair and is a friend of Mohammed’s) She was great, talked us through the most important pieces of art and navigated us through the crowds really well. Everything was explained really well and she kindly answered questions. Fully recommend visiting the Uffizi and a guide is essential in our opinion.
The guide was a lovely, friendly lady but her English accent was difficult to understand and she spoke very quickly, therefore I understood very little of her commentary
Guide was fantastic and knowledgeable and we saw the highlights of the museum with great explanations
Fabulous tour. Freddie was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of info not contained in guide books. Highly enjoyable and informative.
The trip provider said initially they cannot do the guided tour and only provide entry but when I insisted they arrange another tour for me they were able to. It turned out ok but did cause a lot of anxiety as I wasn't sure till a day before if my tour will work out or not.
Francesca Ciaopi was very knowledgeable and explained very nicely! I will book my tour again! She was puntual and always with a smile …….
The trip was canceled as we were only people who showed up . That’s not fair for us since we made an effort to show up … so they should have gone ahead with the trip rather than canceling as it wasn’t our fault and they should have understood that it’s our first time and probably last time in Florence and we shouldn’t have to miss the experience….. rather they should have made sure we get our tour as we were present !
We were so very lucky to have Vittoria as our guide. She was fantastic - knowledgeable and enthusiastic about art, and an expert on the Uffizi. We all had such a great time, our only regret is that it wasn't a bit longer. The Uffizi gallery us fantastic too, but Vittoria added another layer to this already great museum.
Olga was absolutely amazing! I learned so much from her, she made it awesome! Loved her. All the art was so inspiring, gave me chills to see it in person. Books don’t do it Justice.
Our tour guide Olga was wonderful! She did a phenomenal job of guiding us through the Uffizi (which is just massive and can be overwhelming) to the most beautiful works. She knew the history of the pieces, the artists and Florence and did a wonderful job of explaining them along the way. You also get amazing views of the Arno River, the Ponte Vecchio, the Cathedral etc from this gallery. Seeing the Birth of Venus in person is a life experience I will never forget! I am so glad I got to show my children!
We enjoyed our tour of the Uffizi. Very crowded museum and we felt fortunate to skip the line and get the highlights of the museum with our guide. I appreciated that our guide was perfectly on time. There’s so much to see at the Uffizi. I felt content that we got to see the highlights and would highly recommend.
Our tour was nice. They met exactly where they said they would, our tickets worked and gave us access to the museum for the remainder of the day. The only reason I did not give a five star was that our guide's English was a little more broken than I would have hoped. But she was kind and our group was very, very small so we were able to help her find the words she was searching for. The tour only highlights a few pieces in the museum, so it felt a bit rushed and did not touch on a few of the artworks we hoped it would. But since we had more time after the tour, and our tickets were still good for the whole day we found the works we wanted to see and visited them on our own.
It was so crowded in the Uffizi, we would not have been able to see anything if it was not for the guide, ticket provided and choice/explanation of most important exhibits. An experience not to be missed and well worth the price paid.
Alex was our tour guide and she was first class. If she is not an art historian, she would definitely qualify as one. She knew her material inside and out and very much made our experience at the Ufizzi the highlight of our trip.
I loved seeing the magnificent paintings. Olga did a wonderful job of explaining the art and time period. She explained the differences between the famous artists. The whole museum was fascinating.
The only thing that could possibly be better than experiencing the breathtaking magnificence of some of the world’s greatest masterpieces, is to do so in the company of a guide who brings both knowledge and passion to a tour. Alex was just such a guide. She provided insight that vastly exceeds that which comes from a fine arts education. Bravo.
Lunch at the winery was one of the highlights. Getting out of cityscape and into the landscape Was worth the trip.
None. I would rate you ) (zero) but your survey wont allow it. Poor equipment - the audio kept cutting out. We only heard 1/3 of the tour. Useless. The guide didnt us the microphone properly - he kept it hanging around his neck/chest and we had to constantly tell him to hold it.
Queues for the Galleria degli Uffizi and the Accademia can get long and bookings with the official site difficult. So we decided to go private. This tour was simply fantastic. A professional guide was waiting for us at the door, we were led straight into the museum, and experienced hour and a half of good art. I highly recommend this operator. Thank you.
We were very lucky to have Olga lead our tour of the Uffizi as she was so enthusiastic about the paintings in the museum. She gave us so much extra information that we would not have gleaned without her and this made it a great experience
The woman meeting the tour group was also distributing “skip the line” tickets to others and was preoccupied with that task. The radios the tour company uses for the tour guide to communicate with the tour attendees are of very low quality, prone to significant interference and broken signal. The tour guide herself was very impersonal and never even provided a name. She presumed extensive knowledge of art and art history by the attendees and was very rushed. The tour only focuses on an incredibly small part of the museum and effectively ends without warning. Very disappointing. Highly not-recommended. Save your money - we miss ours…
A nice museum but after touring the Academia gallery beforehand, it just didn’t measure up. The tour guide was terrific for Academia but also the Michelangelo, David, the paintings were phenomenal and set a very high standard Ufizzi didn’t meet.
My tour was guided by Miss Lopez whom was very knowledgeable and experienced in the history of art, I loved the way she explained with stories and history of Italy the meaning of every piece of art work.
On the way to the museum, I tripped and fell on the curb, hurting my knee, head, and hand. I had to return to my hotel and remained immobile with ice packets all evening and night. The tour guide called me at 3pm to ask if I was near and explained my situation to her. There was no way on your website to inform the tour or to cancel my reservation. I am asking to be reimbursed the cost of my two tickets.
Our guide was great and very knowledgeable, but the gallery was incredibly busy on a Sunday afternoon and we had a hard time getting close to some of the more famous works. I definitely recommend booking on a slower day. The tour only lasts for about an hour. After that, you have to navigate on your own.
Picked this tour for a small group experience after being on private tours before this in Rome. We knew it wouldn’t be the same but what was supposed to be a MAX of 9 was 14 as they booked more than they advertised the tour for. It is done with a headset and that was an ordeal as many of us had to keep exchanging them to get a working radio set. The museum was very busy and it was not an enjoyable time. Basically trying to keep the larger group together to see just a little bit of the Uffizi. Our guide was very nice but she didn’t deal with the crowds and people walking near our group, through our group or even behind her while she was talking very well. She was very knowledgeable and I’m sure in a private tour she would be awesome! I would not do this tour again.
Magnificent Medici and Renaissance Art on the second floor. Knowledgeable guide. Does not include first floor tour which includes art of Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and other notables. Skip the line was still an hour wait but Uffizi was extremely crowded that day! Can’t imagine the wait otherwise!
Spectacular! The tour was great, but overall what we've seen can't match anything existing. Renaissance was the most beautiful era of human history!
Jessica was a wonderful tour guide. She was Knowledgeable and I really enjoyed her perspective and observations about the paintings. sculptures and artists. She pointed out things I might have otherwise missed.
I was unable to take the tour because there were too many people out and the line was very long and crowded. Hopefully I can take it the next time I visit Italy and skip the line is avaliable . Thank you and have a good day.
We had an enjoyable tour of Uffizi with Victoria. She did a great job of taking us through and explaining the most significant paintings and pieces of history. She was very personable, quite knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we posed. The Uffizi his historical and magnificent and is a must tour for any visitor to Florence. Thank you Victoria!
Contact ItalyPass and buy directly from them to save money. This would have been great, our tour guide was pretty knowledgable. However, less than an hour in, the Uffizi staged a fire drill and we had to evacuate. They made us wait outside for 25 min. They said we could go back in, but the tour guide said she didn't have time to finish the tour (another 40 min) before needing to be ready for her next one. I explained this to Viator and asked for a partial refund (less than 50%). They responded with "we've conducted a thorough investigation and can not refund any money." It was really frustrating because we spent $48pp and didn't get a full experience. Entrance with an audio guide would have been $12+$6. This is more of a review of viator than ItalyPass (the local tour company)- know that it's cheaper to find the tour operator and just purchase directly from them.
