Our tour of Accademia and Uffizi Gallery was perfect, made even more so by our wonderful guide, Kastania. She was so informative and so patient with the time we took to really see and enjoy the exhibits. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting an overview of the art history of Florence.

This is very much a "highlights" tour. You'll see the most important pieces, and you'll hear wonderful explanations of each piece you see. And they'll leave you in the Uffizi to explore more on your own if you choose. Lots of walking between the two galleries.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were a bit confused on how to exit the Uffizi at the tours ending but it all worked out well.
Our tour guide was awesome! She explained the history as well as extra facts and information about the statue of David as well as many other pictures, the city, and everything a tourist would enjoy.
Great experience! Our tour guide was very informative and was well versed about all the historical facts about the art and history. So amazing to see the art I had learned about in art history classes right in front of me!
Having a guide enables you to do more than just look at a painting or a sculpture; a guide educates you about what you are seeing and the history of the art and artist.
Unfortunately, I cannot give this tour a high rating. The time slot appeared to be significantly oversold. We experienced a 35-minute delay before being admitted, despite having a reserved time. To make matters worse, several groups that arrived after us were allowed to enter first. We were left standing outside in the sun for an extended period. Although the guide was knowledgeable, it was often difficult to understand everything she said due to her accent and the overwhelming noise from the hundreds of people crowding the area at the same time. Even with noise-canceling headsets, much of the commentary was hard to follow. The museums themselves were absolutely beautiful and well worth visiting. However, our advertised three-hour tour ultimately lasted only about two hours. The guide ended the tour approximately 25 minutes early and left us to explore the museum on our own. As a result, we received considerably less guided tour time than what we paid for. While the museums were wonderful, the overcrowding, delays, and shortened tour made the overall experience disappointing.
Our tour guide was fabulous! We enjoyed our tour of the galleries and would recommend to anyone who loves art history.
The tour was one of our best, mostly due to our fabulous guide, Mirella, who is both personable and brilliant in her knowledge of Art. She easily guided us through the most important works, pointing out details we wouldn't otherwise have seen or understood.
It was a remarkable tour of beautiful past history and art. The paintings and carvings were exquisite. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very kind. It was worth having a tour guide.
Constanza was absolutely wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and you could tell she really liked her job, which translates on the quality of the tour.
our tour guide was outstanding - she was very knowledgeable and engaging which made the tour so much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this tour if you have only a little time in Florence as youget to see and hear about the most important parts of the Medici and Renaissance
It’s a little tricky finding the starting place unless you have a good map. Bring water with you especially if it’s hot.
Laura is as great! She is obviously very knowledgeable on a broad range of topics, she spoke in an engaging manner (as opposed to robotic or rehearsed) and was able to involve our son. Would definitely do the tour again with her.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our guided tour. Would highly recommend this tour.
High hopes; terrible mics and barely understandable guide made this an awful experience. We couldn’t make it through Uffizi as we were too hot and tired from crowds, no AC, excessive extra walking, and losing our guide who wasn’t much interested in the tour herself. Suggestion: start at the Uffizi and golf cart to Academia. We spent way too much time in Academia and Piazza Signoria. Way too hot and too much walking in Uffizi and outside in blazing Italian summer heat.
Laura did great job explaining history and background of important pieces and eras of the artworks. It started on time and very professional. Timed entries without waiting was super nice. I highly recommend it.
Analisa was wonderful!!! Group of 10 and she knew so much and made the tour so fun! We didn’t know what to expect and we are so glad we did this tour!
Costanza was an excellent guide and helped us navigate only the best sights in two very large museums. 10 out of 10.
Very nice and informative tour. Our guide was nice and very knowledgeable but she walked so fast that we lost her between Accademia and Uffizi (though found her before entering Uffizi), wish she kept her identifying flag up regularly.
Our guide did a great job explaining what we were seeing and providing interesting tidbits of information. It was a rainy day so the museums were packed (mid-May) and she was able to get us around efficiently. The tour covers the highlights of the museums and you can spend more time at Uffizi at the end. Uffizi is huge with so much Christian art. Without a guide (and background knowledge of the art), you’ll be lost in hundreds of Mary and Jesus paintings. Our guide explained how the artwork evolved in chronological order pointing out the details. Highly recommend!
The address provided to meet was not correct! Personally, that causes anxiety! The directions is the text message were not consistent with the reality.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we hit all the interesting highlights! It was very crowded but we still managed to see most everything
Our guide, Annalise, was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable! The tour covered the highlights only at the Accademia and Uffizi which was perfect.
We took this tour last week and our tour guide was Renata. The tour itself was good but not special. We all had a hard time hearing with the headsets provided. They only had a single ear piece. Air buds were not compatible. I happened to have my 2 ear plug in style with me so I was able to cut down most of the background noise. Two other family members with me did not & really struggled. Another couple on the tour basically took there headset out 1/2 way through. Renata is knowledgeable but it was just not a fun or exciting tour. She seemed to be going through the motions. I think it was obvious everyone was done half way through due to the loudness of the facilities and crowds, she spoke softly & it just was not a good experience. Maybe was just not a good day.
Very knowledgeable guide. Excellent way to see both museums. We toured the second floor of the Uffizi together, then were free to wander the rest after. Perfect!
We did a morning tour. The Accademia part of the tour was comprehensive and the context of Renaissance art was well explained. We felt the Uffuzi gallery deserved more time, as there is so much to see, but the crowds were huge and it was difficult to see and hear about the highlighted works easily. The very knowledgeable guide did explain and point out key aspects of the various works though, which was very interesting. Apparently the Uffuzi is less busy around lunchtime or later in the day.
Laura was a fantastic guide with lots of energy and clearly explained the various artists and highlighted many pieces of work that we saw. She really packed in a lot in the 3 hours and was so helpful to understand the background of all the pieces of art we saw to appreciate in more depth. Such a memorable experience and would highly recommend her!
Mirella was an excellent guide. She explained everything in detail while making it interesting and fun. She answered all the questions. Had alot of knowledge and knew history and art exceptionally.
Our guide was wonderful. We enjoyed how the tour showed the highlights at both museums while also teaching the history of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore on the walk in between the museums.
This tour was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our time in Florence. Visiting both the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries with a guided experience made all the difference, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Our guide, Annalisa, was outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, professional, and wonderfully personable. She brought the art and history to life with engaging stories and insights that we never would have appreciated on our own. Her passion was evident throughout, and she struck the perfect balance between informative and enjoyable. The entire experience was seamless, well-organized, and incredibly enriching. Seeing masterpieces like Michelangelo’s David and the incredible works housed in the Uffizi with such an expert guide made it unforgettable. If you’re visiting Florence, this tour is absolutely worth it and highly recommended!
Very good experience but far too crowded at the gallery . The guide was fantastic would do it again….
Great, kind, and knowledgeable tour guide. Well organized. Showed us main pieces plus extra. Glad I booked this tour because I was short on time and this was packed with everything I wanted to see.
We had a wonderful guide today! Very knowledgeable and very professional! She showed us things we would never have seen without her guidance! Exceptional♥️🇮🇹
Terrific tour, expertly led by our guide Annalise. She tailored our tour to our varied levels of knowledge about the Renaissance. Well worth the time. Certainly 5 stars.
Our guide, Mateo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time, and we learned so much on our tour.
The tour operator was knowledgeable. She was familiar with the museums and a master of italian history. She answered every questions precisely.
Very interesting and informative tour. Our tour guide Camilla was able to pick pick out the highlights of the museums and pass some great insights to the group
Professionalism. Costanza was so good and made this a must do experience thar was more than we could have hoped for.
We had a terrific guide who is very knowledgeable and engaging. (I am sorry I did not get her name when she introduced herself to us, but it began with a C.) The tour of the highlights of both museum was very well planned and informative. We highly recommend it.
Unfortunately-we had to stop halfway during the tour because our friends had mobility issues but the first part was great!!
Wonderful experience, our guide Castanza was knowledgeable, organized and a delight. Highly reccomend!
Our guide Mirella was very informative…..obviously she has a great background in the history of Florence and the history of its artists and masterpieces. She made the tour very relaxed and interesting. Really learned a lot!!
Tour leader was fantastic. Camele was knowledgeable and very engaging. Wee did have to wait on line at both museums at least 30 minutes
Knowledgeable, and enthusiastic guide. Did a great job of giving us the highlights, and getting us around the thick museum crowds.
This was the most disorganized, unprofessional tour I have ever been on. The title "skip the line" is not really "skip the line" First off the directions on the ticket to pick up your ticket at a different spot was incorrect. After much running around trying to figure out an employee from the Academia stated the directions were incorrect and sent me to the 2nd meeting point where I was to meet my guide. Once there I was told to sit down and wait. We started around 30-45 min late. We waited at least 45 min to get into the Academia where we only saw the music room and the David for a total of a round 15-20 min. Then off to the Uffizi where we waited 2.5 hours and never got in due to our guide having another tour at 2pm. We were offered to come back the next day but we had to pay. If you are thinking about this tour think twice. The title is misleading as "skip the line" to me it's understood I actually skip the line. Don't waste your time or money. Buyer beware!
Our tour guide, Camilla, was wonderful! Her knowledge and presentation of the art was superb. Being able to skip the massive lines and see the major works of art was worth the price. The only regret is more time at Academia would have been good and there was still some wait time. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to not spend all day at the museums or waiting in line all day. And if you can, ask for Camilla!
There are still lines to get through security, took maybe 30 min total. A little crowded inside, but you can still move around. The guides show you all the hilites
We had to take a cab to get to Florence and there was an accident on the highway so we were scheduled to arrive after the tour started. I contacted Vidor. They reached out to the Tour Guide and they helped us finding the directions and waited for us. we got there at 9:15 and they were very supportive and helpful and they made the whole trip very agreeable in addition Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable in the history of the art which made the tour fascinating.
My partner and I joined Helena and about 16 other people on the Highlights Tour of Accademia and the Uffizi Gallery. She was an incredibly informative and knowledgeable guide who helped us digest some of the art found at in Florence. She gave us context and was quite funny. We had a blast. 10/10!
