The tour hit the highlights without taking all day. If you have been touring Italy this is the kind of tour you’d like as Evan combined the history, culture of the day and societal politics. Two thumbs up!

It’s a lot of walking about it is interesting for anyone interested in art and its evolution as the guide is very well informed
The Uffizi was very crowded today even earlier in the morning. Our guide gave a lot of information about the few pieces we were able to visit It was however disappointing to see so few works and unable to get closer I personally have taken several tours like this in the past at the Uffizi and unfortunately, this one missed the mark. I expected more. Accademia was good. I wish to thank the guide.
We were robbed by this tour. Although we paid for a small group guided tour we had NO GUIDE although we repeatedly asked about the guide we were told we were wrong-we want a total refund as we do not appreciate how we were treated
This tour was great. It was worth it to skip the regular lines as they were veryyy long. Our tour guide was amazing and was so knowledgeable. We spent a short time in the uffizi gallery and walking through we missed so many rooms and paintings. There was an option to be left there instead of going to the next museum. I’m grateful for the tour but wish we had more time there! If you are a gift shop lover like me we did not have time to visit the uffizi gift shop as well.
Great communication as to where to find the tour place. Guide (Ivan) was Exceptional. Very knowledgeable and eloquent speaker with a sense of humor. Truly Enjoyed our time.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we appreciated her insight on many of the pieces. The museums were very busy. The tour was a bit long and quite expensive, but it seems that the museum tickets are pricey. Overall we enjoyed this tour
Wonderful experience, relaxed and informative
The Uffizi Gallery/St. Mark's Basilica tour was wonderful! Our guide, Valentina was so knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was very engaging. My family and I came out of the tour with so much information, and had many discussions. thank you, Valentina!!!
We had a fabulous time with our guide, Guida. He was a passionate historian who brought many of these beautiful artifacts to life. There is so much art history here that you can’t even scratch the surface with just one visit but this was a great way to focus in on some key aspects and beautiful artworks. Definitely recommend this tour.
My apologies for my late review. But this tour was fantastic. The guide was knowledgeable and patient.
Francesco was great guide. Funny, charming, engaging. Liked art info based on politics, history- as impetus
Our tour guide Manuela was amazing ! She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and we really enjoyed her passion for Michelangelo and the artists. Excellent tour and it was worth every penny to skip the lines!!!
Great tour of 2 galleries - history was interesting. Highlight was seeing the statue of David - but worth experiencing all aspects of the galleries.
Tour guide Mary was very informative! She hit the highlights and educated us on things you would never know if you weren’t with an expert! Also skipped the long lines! Highly recommend!!
Short history of art, suitable for the whole family. You can spent days in Uffizi and Accademia, but the tour provided and overview which can be digested for adults and kids.
We learned so much about the art and the artists from our excellent tour guide Sophia. Sophia took good care of us and paced the tour well for the needs of our group.
I only had one day in Florence and was looking for a way to get an immersive experience in the important art museums in Florence. Both guides Mary in the Uffizi and Vera in the Accademia were well-informed and passionate about the art. Very good touring experience and an in-depth look at the spectacular art!
Both tour guides were very knowledgeable. They were amazing. They also gave us good recommendations for food and other tips for around Florence. I would 100% recommend this. Group one to the Uffizi had 9 people and group 2 had around 20. Still managed to hear the tour guides quite well. My family enjoyed the tour as well!
Great to get to important works without standing in long lines. Guide informative and friendly. :):)
Great small group tour, very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Tour was as exactly as advertised, I would recommend and would book again. Communication with and by the company was excellent!
Our group was made up of a mother & daughter, my husband and me and another couple. Marco was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable, kept us engaged, and tailored the tour of the Uffizi Gallery based on what we individually wanted to see, but also made sure to show us the highlights. We then walked to the Accademia Gallery where we viewed more art, a collection of pianos and then for the grand finale, The David! This is one tour that my husband and I can't stop talking about and referring back to. I would highly recommend this, Marco, and would likely do it again.
Been before but better this time. Franchisco was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable. This is a MUST tour
Our guide did a great job of blending history and interesting facts. Great pace to seeing both of these places. Highly recommend!
The tour was perfect. We had limited time in Florence and really wanted to see the Uffizi and the Accademia. Because of Mirella’s expertise and organization, we were able to see everything and also enjoy a nice, informative walk in between the two locations. Mirella is a wealth of information and has a wonderful flow in her tour style. We had the most amazing day in Florence because of Mirella.
The Uffizi was overrun with American tourists, and others. No one was intentionally rude, but it was almost impossible to view a painting or sculpture without having to stand on your toes, angle your head or squat. It was simply "unviewable" in the normal sense of the term. Mary, our guide, was excellent, and should be commended for making the best choices so she could isolate us as much as possible with selected paintings, sculpture, etc. We made a mistake in selecting the 12 Noon tour, where school children on tours, and tourists from around the world converge. This is my second trip to the Uffizi. I fell in love with it the first time; this was a stark reminder to schedule my next tour early in the morning or late in the day.
Need to walk about 10-15mins between the two attractions. Started as a small group of 7pax at Uffizi but increased to 16pax at the Accademia. Only small drink bottles are allowed into both places
There are a lot of people visiting the galleries and it is difficult not to get separated from the speaker and to look at the pictures/statues as she speaks. You should be made aware of what you are going to see and also what you are not going to see.
Good for those looking at the main points of interest in the 2 museums. Perfect for us as we had limited time. Well worth it!
It was what we were looking for. It’s a quick run through both museums. If you want to spend more time and go into the individual rooms, this tour is not for you. But if you want to go to both museums in a short period of time and hit the highlights then this is perfect. You do get to spend as long as you want in the Academia.
Well worth the money to have a guide and to be able to skip the lines. The guides are so knowledgeable and are eager to answer any questions.
Fantastic tour. Great historical lessons of Florence, the Medici family, Art History and the Renaissance. Sylvia was particularly amazing as our tour guide in both locations.
The guide was very educational about the evolution of art/history during the Renaissance. We learned a lot, however we would have like to have seen more pieces, there just was not enough time for both the history lessons and the art viewing. And then there was travel time between the two museums. I would recommend separating these into two separate tours, in order to devote more time, especially in the Uffizi .
This was a fabulous tour of Uffizi and Academia. The art of Uffizi did not disappoint, masterpieces. Mariela was an excellent guide. Thorough but not overpowering. Highly recommend.
Francesco was an amazing guide! We learned so much about the art and the history behind it. And the walk between the 2 museums allowed for an abridged walking tour as well. And he didn’t leave us without giving us recommendations for food in the area.
Excellent tour. Very informative with history and meaning behind the museum , the art, the city. Highly recommend
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, especially given the huge amounts of artwork. We experienced the highlights while keeping to a tight schedule. True art scholars would want to spend hours in each museum, but for those of use with limited time in Florence, this was perfect. I only deducted a star for City Florence Tours. One person told me to return for the noon tour at 11:40. I waited in the otherwise empty waiting area until 12:05. When I inquired, I was told by another rep that the time had been moved to 12:30. Why didn't the first rep have this information? I might have used the extra time differently.
Must see! Our tour guide was phenomenal! David up close was amazing. Touring with our guide made our experience effortless.
Practically a private tour for our family. Guide was engaging and informative. We hardly waited in lines, and she knew how to get around crowds and encouraged us to stand closer to each painting.
Wonderful tour! Manuela was very informative, engaging, and fun. Her passion for Florence and its art was delightful. Highly recommend!
The exhibit was beautiful. I wish we had more time to see the artwork. We felt a little bit rushed. We did wait 45 minutes in line even with our tour prepaid. It was a little challenging, finding the meeting spot. But overall a wonderful tour and exceptional tour guide
Very good tour good information. Small Tour was perfect way to see the gallery. Lots of great stories behind the art
Although it was crowded and we could not move fast, the amount of information was overwhelming. I am sure there were some in the group that enjoyed it, but to us it was too much. Three hours of facts with a whisper system that did not function properly is not fun. We stopped in front of too many paintings and received information that artists would love but is not for the general man in the street. Our guide certainly knows her art but it is not necessary to do the complete course of Art 101.
This was a really great experience with Francesca. The two museums are chocked full of georgeous works of art, and we could spend days enjoying the artwork and the two respective buildings. Given our limited time, this was a resourceful way to see the highlights in the two galleries without feeling overwhelmed. My family and I enjoyed this guided tour very much.
Christina our guide was so knowledgeable about the art and history we were seeing. The art we saw at the Uffizi and the Accdemia was the best of Italian art. Small group was absolutely a necessity as the crowds were extreme in both museums.
Probably the best tour of our trip! Guide was extremely knowledgeable and the Accademia Gallery was my favorite, but very crowded. Uffizi also amazing. Tour guide was the key!
The tour guide was fantastic, but it is very fast paced. You will only see the major highlights at the Uffizi. If you like to lollygag and contemplate specific paintings and or the environment, I suggest booking a longer tour at the Uffizi.
We were given a high-quality tour of the gallery and museum. Information was interesting and informative. We highly recommend this tour.
If you love art history but don’t have a lot of time, this is a great 3-4 hour tour! Our tour guide Laura was very knowledgeable!!
This was one of the most disappointing tours I’ve ever taken. We were instructed to arrive by 11:45 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. start, but the guide didn’t even pick us up until noon. Despite having “skip the line” tickets, we spent nearly 30 minutes waiting before entering the Uffizi Gallery. By then, we were already running behind, and the entire experience felt rushed and disorganized. The guide spent too much time asking open-ended questions instead of providing concise explanations of key artworks. Given the limited time, it would have been better to focus on the major pieces and allow for questions at the end. His delivery also felt somewhat disengaged. We had booked a combined Uffizi and Accademia Gallery tour, but because of the delays, we were already 20 minutes late for the Accademia portion. When we asked if we could just have our Accademia tickets to explore on our own later, we were told that was not an option. We ultimately decided to skip the Accademia entirely so we could spend more time in the Uffizi — which is much larger and filled with many of the masterpieces we came to see — and to visit the gift shop at our own pace. Overall, this tour felt poorly managed and not worth the money. I recommend skipping this company altogether and purchasing your tickets directly from each museum. Both offer “skip the line” options with audio guides that let you explore at your own pace and actually enjoy the art without feeling rushed or restricted.
