What a great day! Julie was a very friendly, helpful and entertaining guide. The two wineries were lovely - one a little fancier, one more scenic and rustic. Delicious wines and more food than we expected! Beautiful views from the 2nd winery as well as on the drive there. Overall a highlight of our trip!

Itinerary
Meet your English-speaking guide in central Florence, where you'll board a comfortable coach for the day. Your sommelier briefly introduces the two family-run estates you'll visit and walks you through what to expect from each tasting.
Tune in as your guide points out medieval towers and century-old estates as you wind through the heart of Chianti. Then, about an hour after departing, arrive at Fontaleoni, a family-run winery founded in 1959. Follow a sommelier into the cellar and learn the estate's evolution from mixed farming to producing some of the region's finest Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti. Next, settle in for a traditional Tuscan lunch. Taste four estate wines as you work through a spread of appetizers, handmade pasta with tomato sauce, and cantucci biscuits dipped in sweet Vin Santo. It's unhurried, indulgent, and exactly what wine country afternoons were made for.
After lunch, hop back in the car to head to the next vineyard estate (30-minute drive). Arrive at Poggio ai Laghi, a winery located on the plateau between two lakes. The microclimate here makes it ideal for growing Sangiovese, Merlot, and Vermentino. Your second sommelier-led tasting includes six carefully selected wines that showcase the estate's signature elegance. Between sips, you'll sample their rich olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar, cured meats, and brushetta.
Board the coach for a scenic, 50-minute return through the Chianti countryside to central Florence, with vineyard rows and terracotta rooftops giving way to the city skyline. Your guide is on hand for wine shop recommendations and aperitivo spots before you head off.

Very friendly guide (Victoria). Comfortable bus and good driver. Good mixed of vinery. One more modern the other a family owned with good view of Tuscany wine country. The first stop offered was excellent. Lunch was simple.
I love everything, the guide Julia Andrade was amazing. We are from PANAMÁ 🙏🏻🫶🏻🇵🇦
A good day out, with a good selection of wines.
This was a fantastic experience. Our guide Barbara was so lovely and knowledgeable of the area and the history of wine in Tuscany. The wineries we visited were gorgeous and we got to try so many amazing Tuscan wines! It was the perfect half day in Tuscany and I would recommend this to anyone who hasn’t been to Tuscany before as a great intro to wine in this region.
Lovely wine tour! It was very nice to get out of the city and see the countryside with good food and amazing wine!
Top notch guide! Great visits, tasting, views, driver and comfortable bus. Highly recommended!
Amazing experience! The tour guide was lovely, the winery visits were so much fun. We learned about wine, we tried delicious food and had an amazing time. I recommend it 100%
Unassuming, very personable tour guide. Everything was explained clearly. One of the better wine experiences I've had. Very good wine. Authentic and even entertaining hosts at the wineries. Food complimented the wine.
The first stop was too much of a sales pitch by the local winery. And if you weren’t American , they just wouldn’t give you the time or day.
Very nice tour. Glad we did it. The scenery was lovely. The views stunning. Lunch was nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Views were amazing hostess Victoria was absolutely adorable and sweet. The 2 wine lunches were amazing and full of knowledgeable information. We had a lovely time. Thank you so much for a fascinating tour 5 stars
We loved Victoria. The food and wine was delicious. We learned history, and wine making and enjoyed making new friends on the bus. I would recommend 100%
Victoria was a great guide. Very friendly & knowledgeable. The wine & food offered were top quality & generous. Lovely scenery too.
We had a wonderful day on our tour with Victoria. She was funny and knowledgeable. She was engaging and kept us laughing. The tour was great. Beautiful countryside and great wine!
Victoria was a great host. She made us feel welcome and gave us super great information about the tour and the wineries we visited. Awesome experience!
Victoria was very knowledgeable, nice, and sweet. We all had a great time and both wineries had amazing food and wine
Great experince and learned a lot about tuscany wines
The guide was fantastic, really fun and knowledgeable, and gave us lots of interesting context about the region and its wine. The two wineries were quite different. The first felt very commercial and salesy, which wasn’t really the experience we were looking for. The second winery, where we had lunch, was much more charming and felt local and authentic. Definitely our favourite part of the day. The bus was also packed, with around 20 people, and we ended up squeezed into the back row, which was pretty uncomfortable. For the price we paid, we expected a bit more comfort and a more personal experience overall. The guide, lunch and second winery were great, but the overcrowded bus and first stop were disappointing.
Good tour and great value for money
Had a great time led by our guide Barbara! The two wineries were gorgeous and some of the best wine tastings I’ve done - there was also balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting along the way, as well as appetisers and pasta. Perfect experience to earmark our time in Tuscany and see the difference the soil of the region makes to its wine. We left with 12yr aged balsamic to take home!
Barbara took us through lovely wineries and gave us a pleasant wine tasting experience
The small family winery was personal and lovely. Spending time there was like a warm hug and wonderful break from the city hustle and bustle. Tasting was well rounded and delicious. The second winery was great also but truly more commercialized. Both great experiences, I had wine shipped home from both places.
The tour was very good, felt it was quite worthwhile, and our guide, Shirin was excellent!
Julia was a wonderful guide to both of our sights. We had a great time with the group, bus travel, wineries and all of the other experiences. Food was good wine was better.
What a wonderful and fun experience! Thank you, Julia!
A great way to spend 5 hours. Julia & Massimo were great guides. Included breakfast, lunch and 10 wines, fabulous!
Great experience. Sit down wine tasting and meals. Recommend 10/10
Awesome, great day at great vineyards
Shirin was lovely, very kind, super accommodating and informative. Would %100 recommend booking with her.
Great experience. A lot of food and wine included. There is not as many views of vineyards as expected, lunch is outside which is nice however the second location is all indoors. Met at 1.15pm and was back by 6.15pm.
It was a lovely tour, two very different experiences in the wineries. Our tour guide Vitoria was very nice, polite and friendly. Would do it again!
Victoria was great and very friendly. Would 100% book again
A well executed and organized half day trip. Perfect if you want to experience Tuscany but don’t want to commit to a full day. Our guide Giulia was personable; we went to two wineries with very different vibes and the food was great. A lovely morning!
The guide Lorenzo was the best guide ever. He made the trip so much more fun and easy
Shirin was amazing! Very knowledgeable and educational.
Definitely worth the money. Shirene was lovely and pointed out several interesting landmarks during the ride. The first winery was lovely with very good wine. The second winery (and lunch) was situated in an idyllic setting. Overall - very good experience.
Excellent day out. Vineyards were lovely with great food and wine, of course. Perfect choice if you can’t do the full day, but still want a wine tour experience! Highly recommend.
The Guide Barbara was fantastic, friendly, well spoken (english). The pick up was late by 13mins which is why I removed 1 star. Overall I would recommend this tour. The first vineyard is rather commercial and pricey to buy bottles especially to take away, as they are the same price as shipping direct. Although there were lots of outdoor seating and a sunny day, disappointingly we were sat inside. The second vineyard I loved, all organic wine and much more affordable. We sat outside and enjoyed the views and food on offer. However overall it was s great experience. Wifi on bus didn’t really work.
Wonderful experience beginning to end. Victoria was an amazing tour guide whose knowledge about the region added so much to the day and being able to trust our safety for the drive to Simone was so relaxing. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a shorter winery tour.
I enjoyed my experience at both wine tastings! I loved learning about the process of how the wine is made in different regions. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Great tour with Victoria. Both vineyards were gracious hosts. Food and wine was plentiful and delicious. Bus driver was great. Would change nothing.
Good value, fun tour, lovely guide, informative. Half day tour.
Victoria was amazing & so knowledgeable! Amazing to have someone so welcoming & that knows all of the history behind everything.
A great experience and especially for the value!!!! I would really recommend doing this wine tour. Our host was fabulous (Victoria) and all the hosts at the wineries were lovely. Very substantial tasting pours and the produce was great too.
Our guide Victoria was amazing, she explained everything very well and had such a friendly demeanor. The vineyards were gorgeous and the food and wine was incredible. Highly recommend!
Scenery, tasting, education, comfort. All excellent. Skip breakfast to save room for the multiple eatings haha
We had a wonderful time! The tour guide was very informative and the experience was wonderful.
Great day. Barbara our guide was very informative, and staff at both wineries were very friendly.
Grazie a Barbara! Everything was exceptional. Definitely bring your favourite home.
