Tuscany Vespa & Wine Tour, Lunch, Medieval Villages, Wine Tasting

The whole experience was amazing. The guides are so friendly, funny, and make sure you are really enjoying and feeling comfortable. You can tell they really take safety seriously and lookout for the group but also want everyone to have fun. The amount of riding time was perfect and views were beautiful. Around an hour in San Gimignano was perfect to explore a bit and try world famous gelato. Then unexpectedly, the lunch at the end was so very wonderful and the cherry on top. Lots of everything included. The whole experience was charming. We would definitely recommend this experience.

You have to practice driving the Vespa before you can take it out, very understandable! They don’t tell you that you are practicing on gravel! They also don’t tell you they give you about 2-3 min to get it and if they don’t think you are good enough, you have to ride in the back of a cart for your “Vespa” experience! I did not pay all this money to be a “princess passenger” as they called me! Was that supposed to make me feel special? It made me cry! I paid to ride a Vespa! I know I would have been fine if I could have practiced on a paved surface and been given more than 2 minutes to practice! I am perfectly capable of driving a scooter, riding a bike and doing anything I am given a fair chance to do! They set up cones about 30 feet apart and you don’t have time to drive straight before you have to constantly be turning 180° to go back! You don’t have time to get a feel for the hand control. My husband “passed” the test and was given the option to ride the Vespa or ride with me in the back of a cart! Being the gentleman he is, he rode with me. If he hadn’t, I would have been sitting there alone with a stranger driving me, how uncomfortable! So now, he, too, missed out on this experience that we paid hundreds for! Nothing about this was a “Vespa” experience for us!

What an amazing way to see the beautiful country side of Tuscany. Daniel was incredibly welcome and made the Vespa driving a breeze. The lunch was incredible as well and they sang happy birthday to Michele. Best birthday ever ! Amazing day!! Love love loved it !!

Our whole family had an incredible day! Our adult children explained the day as a bucket list adventure they didn’t know they wanted. Josef was a great driver, getting us to and from San Gimignano, and then also as the driver on one of the vespas. Stefano was great, providing a bit of Tuscan history and information about the agricultural environment, while also driving one of the vespas. The whole team was professional, concerned about safety, but really fun to spend the day with. We highly recommend this tour to groups of all ages.

Highly recommend booking!! We are so happy we chose this experience. Our guides were nice and made everything easy. The ride through the country was beautiful and the lunch was delicious! We had our own private deck at the winery, where they brought out our food and shared the story of the vineyards. We got delicious gelato at San Gimignano, then got to shop around a bit. They also made sure we got lots of great photos!

The ride is fun, sights are amazing and the guides Daniel and Marco were increíble, very fun, helpful and made the trip even better.

This was a really great day--well planned, courteous guides, and an incredible lunch. One note: the tour title may suggest most of the day on a Vespa. In fact, less than an hour in total--this was plenty, but worth noting.

This was a really fun tour, Lorenzo and Stefano took great care of us, the lunch was awesome and was bigger than we expected.

Everything was as described. Pick-up, drop-off all smooth, the Vespa part was SO fun, SG was beautiful and the lunch was fabulous. The crew really did make sure you were ok driving the Vespa, or offered an alternative. Daniel made sure we were safe, happy, and very well fed. The van ride back was 8 strangers all singing together, great day!

The Tuscan Vespa & Wine Tour was spectacular. We got trained on our Vespas and then we took off for a wonderful ride around the hills of Tuscany. We were so well taken care of, the team made sure we were all safe and happy at all times. They took photos of us while we were on the road, so that we didn't have to fumble with our phones. It was a great ride to San Gimignano. Once there we were given a short tour and time to walk around. And then we returned for a great Wine Tasting and Lunch. The wine and food was all delish and we all relaxed together as we got to know each other better and talk about our experience. This team really takes good care of the group. We left having had a wonderful experience and feeling well taken care of. GREAT DAY, GREAT EXPERIENCE!

This was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Riding the vespas through the Tuscan Hills was amazing. The tour guides were really friendly and knowledgeable. The safety was top priority for them and overall it was a great tour. The food and the wine at the end were also amazing cooked by an Italian grandma and there was plenty for everyone in our group. Don’t hesitate to book this Tour well worth the money.

The absolute best day! The Vespa scooters were so fun to drive around to see the countryside. I have to admit, the driving test before the trip was giving me anxiety as I had never ridden one before. They did a great job showing you how to operate and made you practice before going out on the roads. The stop in the medieval village was amazing! The lunch at the vineyard was delicious and they gave you so much food. It was one of my favorite excursions that we did while in Italy. Definitely recommend~

Daniele our guide was great! The guides made sure we felt comfortable driving the Vespa and were very good teachers. Safety was a priority. Daniele was a lot of fun and provided us with pictures and video of our day. The lunch and wine tasting were wonderful.

I have always wanted to ride a Vespa, and returning to San Gimignano was on my list, so this excursion seemed a perfect choice. And it was! Our guide/van driver and the guys who assisted with the 20 km Vespa ride were fun, competent and helpful. They made sure our group of 8 was well-prepared before we hit the road. The ride was spectacular! Scenery so perfect it felt like a movie set. We had some free time in San Gimignano before we returned to the vineyard where we had started for wine tasting and a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this trip for everyone, both new and experienced riders.

This Vespa tour was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of our time in Florence. I know, I know, it wasn't actually a tour in Florence, but it was the highlight of that week we spent there. As soon as we met our tour guide Daniel, we knew it was going to be a good time! He was so great and so at ease. He knew so much about the area and San Gimignano. The team also did a great job with getting us comfortable with riding the Vespas. We had a great time at the agriturismo for lunch. It was a great group and we enjoyed talking with new people and the food was amazing. The wine pairing made it extra fun as well. I'm sure my husband and I will be smiling about this trip for years to come, and we would love to do it again some day. My only wish is that we had more time in San Gimignano, but perhaps we can just make a point to stay there ourselves in the future. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone I know that is going to Italy.

We were so fortunate to have to wonderful guides: Marco and Ricardo! They were encouraging, patient, and fun!!! We also met two wonderful women who joined our tour! 4 total therefore it felt like a private tour Great stop at 2 vineyards and a fabulous lunch at the farmhouse!

Instructors want you to pass your “test” so if you’re not comfortable at first, they will work with you. This was totally worth it and probably our highlight of the trip. Riding vespas through wine country was not on my bucket list, but it should be on yours. Daniel and Marco were great tour guides and made us feel safe driving on the roads. They also walked us around the medieval town of San Gimignano. We ended with a wine tasting and a full meal provided by a local winery. I would recommend this excursion to anyone planning a trip to Florence.

I can’t say enough about this experience.You can’t say you have seen to Florence or Tuscany until you do this excursion. Top notch tour guides , Ricardo and Mido were awesome. If you can’t drive the Vespa you can ride with them or they even have a 4 person Vespa cart where you can drink wine and listen to music . The farm where we did wine testing , and lunch was amazing . Family style atmosphere.Quality home cooked pasta , appetizers, desert. Titiano the owner was delightful also the chef .

Fantastico! The Tuscany Vespa and Wine Tour was so much fun! I was very worried about riding the Vespa but Mido and Andy were extremely reassuring and put me straight at ease. I traveled as a passenger so was able to relax and enjoy the scenery. Lunch was amazing, too. Don’t hesitate to do this tour!

What a fantastic day! Meeting place and Pick up process was perfect and our guide Daniel was seriously Magnifico! All the staff were so friendly, patient and FUN! Although I failed the Vespa driving test, the team made my experience fabulous and inclusive. The food was amazingggggg and the trip home was hilarious and the perfect day to a great day. Highly recommended.

I can not find the words to express what an EXCELLENT day this was!!! Vespas through some Tuscan countryside, an AMAZING lunch with wine on a family farm who made or grew everything we ate and drank, a bit of time in San Gimignano and THE BEST guides in the business!!! It was such a wonderful tour, we would do it again when we go back. Thank you to Osvaldo (our driver and guide) for his excellent driving and teaching us so much about this wonderful part of the world!!

Awesome tour. We have been on many tours like this, in Italy and elsewhere, and this was the best. Our guide was fun, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. We highly recommend this trip. They accommodated people who were not confident on the vespas and made sure we all had a great time. The sights and trips down scenic and beautiful toads were great and everything was well organized and delightful. Highly recommend this trip!!

Beautiful ride to/from San Gimignano! It is a bit intense for first time riders like my wife and I, but the guides provided coaching and other options for anyone uncomfortable. Lunch was amazing at a small family farm!

It is just Amazing. We went in the pouring rain 🌧, but woth ever penny. The experience on the farm with food and wine tasting was great. I'm definitely repeating this......Do not expect a Villa. This is a beautiful working farm. Everything you want

Absolutely incredible and fun experience! Once you get the feel of the Vespa you’re off and enjoying the beautiful countryside! The guides were awesome, knowledgeable, and prioritized safety. 10/10 recommend!

Nice experience but many people did not pass the Vespa driving test and had to ride on the back of Vespa’s driven by the guides which was very disappointing, especially for the premium you pay for the Vespa. I’ve now done this tour and the bus tour operated by the same group that also takes you to Sienna and Pisa. I’d recommend the bus tour over this one. When you’re driving the Vespa, you don’t really get to take in the views and then you only get an hour to explore San Gimigano. In comparison, the bus tour included guides that gave a lot more historical context for the places you visit and it felt like a richer experience overall. The lunch was by far the best part of the tour in my experience.

Our family of 5, kids ages 15, 19, 21, had the best day on this tour. The tour guides were amazing and very patient in teaching us how to use the scooters, and very entertaining on the tour itself. The lunch at the end of the day was an amazing way to end a fabulous day. Everything that was served was delicious.

Lorenzo and his team gave us one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Italy! The entire Vespa tour through Tuscany was incredible from start to finish. The Vespa riding itself was the perfect combination of fun, adventure, and safety. Lorenzo and the team were extremely professional, gave clear instructions, and led the group at a comfortable pace. We always felt safe and well taken care of, while still getting the full experience of riding a Vespa through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Our stop in San Gimignano was fantastic, especially getting gelato at the famous Gelateria Dondoli. But one of the biggest surprises was the lunch afterward at the small villa. The setting was beautiful, the food was amazing, and it felt intimate and authentically Tuscan—the kind of experience you simply wouldn’t find on your own. Lorenzo and his team were friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely seemed to love sharing Tuscany with us. Everything about the day felt relaxed and personal rather than like a typical tourist excursion. If you’re considering a Vespa tour in Tuscany, book this one. It was an unforgettable experience and easily one of our favorite days in Italy. We cannot recommend Lorenzo and his team highly enough. Absolutely 5 stars!

This was a fantastic tour!! Our guide was superb and very diligent about ensuring that we knew how to drive our Vespas. His training to prepare us was wonderful. He took great pictues during our tour and we had an absolute ball driving through the gorgeous Tuscan hills, past vineyards and flower fields...it was fantastic! The Vespas were in superb condition, helmuts required, backroads were gorgeous and so fun and the lunch location was just beautiful...lovely farm...stone walls...had superb views, both indoor dining that was air conditioned wonderfully and outdoor terrace with amazing views of San Gmignano...and their olive oil was fantastic, as were their wines...we ordered some of both to be shipped home! And, the food was out of this world. I have taken alot of tours and this meal is absolutey the best I have ever had on a tour...the pasta was all homemade and the ragus and fillings were wonderful...great salads and charcuterie as well as dessert and great ambiance, kind tour guide and wonderful farm hosts and servie could not be beat and superb conviviality!! Just perfect!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Guides were engaging with great customer service. For those that didn’t pass the Vespa test the guides game them a ride on Vespa or tuk tuk. Dinner at the winery was amazing with spectacular views!! We only were able to spend about an hour in town. We could have used more time to explore.

The best day of our trip. The staff is enthusiastic and patient, the ride and San Gimingano were stunning and the wine and lunch were perfect. Don’t pass on it out of anxiety about handling the Vespa; they coach you up and keep you safe and you have a lot of fun.

This Vespa trip was an amazing way to experience the Tuscan countryside. The ride itself was beautiful and exciting, the stop in San Gimignano was a lovely break to the day, and the lunch at the agroturismo may have been the best meal we had all trip. Our tour guide, Cecilia, ensured we all had lots of fun, and there were several other guides with us throughout the ride to ensure our safety. Anybody who was not comfortable driving was able to ride on the backs of other Vespas, which allowed them to fully take in the views without worries. The lunch was back at the starting point (driven to and from by van), so the wine and liqueor flowed freely since we were done driving. Everyone had a great time and we'd highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get out of the city for a day and enjoy the country.

This tour gave myself and two adult children a chance to get away from the busyness of Florence, to enjoy the Tuscan countryside. The pick up point was easy to find. Our small group was transported in a comfortable spacious van and our driver highlighted notable monuments and vineyards on the way to the first destination. We spent a little bit of time learning how to ride the Vespa and then we hit the road to San Gimignano. The route was beautiful and it included a panoramic stop on the top of the hill in front of a vineyard where we took pictures. We then went on escorted by two guides to San Gimignano. We walked up the big hill to the centre Square and had award-winning gelato! We did a little bit of shopping, wandered around an outdoor market and wished we had another hour to spend there. The only disappointing part of this trip was that the journey home on the Vespas was less than 10 minutes long where we had taken the long way to our original spot. It would’ve been fantastic to have an equally long journey back. Once we were done with the Vespas, the tour guide then drove us essentially across the street to a lovely olive and beef cattle farm that also functions as a B&B. The food was lovely, the company was great and the vistas were wonderful. Our tour guide took us for a walk on the property to show us some of the farming and Winery practices. Afterwards, he extended our journey home by stopping at Michelangelo Square and another viewing space a little higher. It was unexpected and fantastic! We wouldn’t have made it to those two places otherwise. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience! We were picked up in time, taken to an extra stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for pictures, and then out to the Vespas. After training and practice, we were off! After picture stops we arrived in San Gimignano just in time for the end of the medieval festival! What a treat! After a perfect amount of time, we headed out to dinner! There are no words to describe the meal, the service, or the fun! The guides were knowledgeable, patient, and more fun than we could have imagined! The care taken to be sure everyone from our 30-82 year old friends had fun was perfection! This afternoon was the best day ever. Joseph, Ricardo, and Giacomo are the greatest! You made the day perfection!!

We had Lorenzo and Sicilia as our tour guides, which I cannot speaking more highly of! They were amazing, fun and fabulous. Incredible with children. Fun in Tuscany was absolutely incredible tour group and staff. We rode vespas around Tuscany and enjoyed all of the sights. We laughed, we sang, we danced, we ate delicious food and wine. The cherry on top of the tour was a dance party after lunch and Queen karaoke in the car ride back home! Thank you so much for a spectacular and unforgettable experience. Our children will speak of this day forever as it was our best tour during our stay in Italy! Lorenzo and Sicilia (as well as all of the staff- our son Rocco loved his Vespa driver) we cannot thank you enough!!!

It’s a lovely ride (in a van) from Florence to Moltepulciano. Then practice driving the Vespa and then you go for a magical ride through the Tuscany hills. After about an hour and a half we arrived in Sa Giacomo (sp?). It’s a sweet small town. Then it was on to an absolutely magical sunset dinner overlooking the Tuscany hills. The only disappointment is that they took lots of photos and videos which they promised to give us, so we didn’t take our own photos. We never got a single photo from them. That was very frustrating as we followed up to request them and they still did not send us any.

Don’t leave Florence without doing this tour! Our family of 6 had the absolute BEST time and our guide Cecelia was amazing!!! What an experience!
