The ticket pick up and entry was very chaotic! There was nobody at the meeting spot until less than 15 minutes before our entry time. When he got there, I said my friends were not there yet but were walking towards us and he said we had to go to the (red) public entry line. I said no, that’s not what I paid for and my friends arrived just then. He was not very friendly or even courteous at all—rushed us to a line. When we got to the front of the line the gallery workers were saying we weren’t with a tour and weren’t going to let us in. Finally, the one gallery worker talked to the first gallery worker who let us in the line and we were let in. It was VERY stressful. So disappointed that I paid so much extra for very poor customer service.

Viator and the partners they worked with were very helpful and understanding when we were unable to arrive to our tour at our reserved time. We had an incident with the train and had to back track, which made it impossible to get there in time. They gave us another time slot that worked perfectly and the museum was amazing.
It’s a scam… the museum was free all along, and there was no line…. Best was that NO ONE showed up to designated area.
The chaos is finding your ticket group and getting checked in. Basically your ticket is suppose to give you easy access to the Gallery and a bit of background knowledge. Probably good if it is a very crowded day. For a quiet off-season day it is not worth the structured hassle of trying to find your assigned group.
There were hundreds of people there to see The David! We had skip the line and actually arrived 45 min early. The tour guide was able to get us in immediately so it was wonderful. The David was a sight to behold as well as the museum attached.
There is zero organization and not really skipping any lines. I would not recommend. Cannot recommend.
Nice that we were able to skip the line. Didn’t realize this was an unguided tour, so you will have no audio or guide to explain the art. Great tour - completed in less than 1 hr.
Skip the line tickets very worthwhile and pick up well organised. Self guided tour was excellent and good value.
Venue is very busy so beware of big crowds especially around the statue of David. Take advantage of the other areas of the museum
Our tour of the statue of David was amazing. We had a tour guide, Mario, that was so informative and passionate about everything in that museum. It was absolutely beautiful to see how much she loved all the history involved in the museum. I do have to say that having three boys under the age of 17 it was a little difficult for them because they weren't as engaged as perhaps was needed for this length of tour and information. As an adult, I would recommend it, especially because the Mario was so great at telling us all the ins and outs of the stories and history that none of us Americans really know. He was amazing!
Maria was fantastic! She provided us with so much more than a “food tour”. Her knowledge about Florence is vast and she imparts that to her clients. She gave us great recommendations for our stay after we left her. I highly recommend Maria as a guide!
This was very well organized Good communication and easy to find our meeting place Arrived, received our tickets and entered the gallery
It was pretty confusing. Just ask some one from another tour company. Our person was not holding the flag
Everything went smoothly and we collected our tickets as directed. It saved us so much time and there were no difficulties getting into the museum.
It was very convenient to purchase the ticket into the museum on Viator as the tickets on the museum website were sold out & the line to wait for a ticket at the museum would have been hours long. The 2 contact persons were very friendly when we arrived to check in. The check-in point was in front of building down the street from museum. There was an issue with the tickets however when we arrived. We had a 1pm reservation and the museum was sold out of tickets for that time so they needed to give us 1:45pm tickets instead. We were able to adjust our plans and make this work but something to keep in mind when booking that the time you reserve may not be the actual time you get in.
This was amazing to show up and get tickets and be able to skip the line and go right into the museum. Just perfect.
The highlight is David. Though there are many other statues and paintings David is the main attraction. This was a good one time experience, since how often can you say you’ve seen this masterpiece. Just know there is a replica that you can see for free elsewhere in Firenze. So if you want to see the original then this is for you, if you just want to see a statue that is identical then save your money.
.if you go in the morning the wait time is 15 to 20 minutes, the lines were much shorter in the afternoon.
The skip the line was great. Getting the tickets was easy and fast. The museum was not busy or full in Oct/Nov.
We had the best tour guide Martina , very knowledgeable and spoke to the group in English, Spanish, Italian The tour was fantastic and we got in very quickly
Really good experience with skip the line. Broker found us quickly and escorted us to the proper line. Very professional.
Being able to spend as much time as we liked to fully check out everything and the statue of David was just brilliant
Very easy to get our tickets and we were in the gallery within minutes. Great communication on where to meet.
I liked seeing David. I feel that the seller is scalping tickets and are jacking the prices up. The seller is in a private residence and are various prices. Buy directly from the museum.
Even with Skip the Line tickets we waited 40 minutes to enter. It was pouring rain. The guide let uds to The David statue and left. Very disappointing. The museum was beautiful.
We got lost and missed the tour. Left in plenty of time to get to the Accademia, but somehow made a wrong turn. We were very disappointed but that is on us not you.
Well worth the cost. When we arrived at the Accademia the entry line was unbelievably long, hundreds of people waiting to enter. We met the representative and he walked us to a separate entrance from the crowds, no waiting.
There’s no such a thing as Skip the Line!! The long 3.5hr line up in the rain was not fun plus finally getting to the door only to be asked for a paper ticket we didn’t have (purchased them online). Nowhere on our Viator emailed link said anything about picking up paper tickets from a random dude on a random address… luckily the person at the door was kind enough to give us said address and let us get through after we got the tickets. Between the absolute lack of proper signs outside the museum and the lack of proper info from Viator the whole thing was the most chaotic experience ever… we stopped “skipping the line” since and rather bought tickets direct from museums instead.
Well organized but note: Meeting point was outside the entrance to Acadamia. Look for the orange flag. Do not follow the google maps directions as they send you to the square on the other side of the building.
Operator was easy to locate and friendly. Wait was minimal. Museum was everything I expected. Great experience.
Definitely worth the extra money!! Walked up, exchanged our voucher for tickets and were escorted to the front of the line of at least 500 people! In the museum in less than 3 minutes. Phenomenal experience!
This was not worth the cost. It was way more than the standard price, you still have to wait in line, and they didn’t have tickets for the time we booked. We had to wait for the next session. Would not recommend to anyone.
It was amazing to see David in person. I highly recommend. I wouldn't want to stand in line wasting precious time.
Was glad we had tickets prearranged with the heat. Of course, the gallery was amazing and well worth the visit!
The Accademia was a wonderful experience. The skip the line ticket was the best thing to do. The lines are so long and we would have had to wait very, very long without it.
Quick and easy to get in. Difficult to find the ticket location. The building was a great escape from the extreme heat. Lots of great air conditioning inside.
An astounding demonstration of human ingenuity on display at this museum. The David is a must-see for anyone in Florence! I highly recommend a visit to this museum!
Everyone was super helpful. Boy, does Italy know how to pack em in, but the statue of David does not fail to impress.
David was spectacular! Our guide Martina was entertaining and informative as well. Great way to spend an hour in Florence.
So easy! Highly recommend skipping the line, especially with teenagers. Took minutes to enter and admire. Beautiful to see the history and artistry. Slightly lost on 16-18 year olds but amazing nonetheless.
They had to delay my entry by 1 hour so I wasted my time as I already had other plans. Still stood in line to get in… I did not get any benefit with purchasing with them.
Super quick, convenient, and efficient. Smooth entry process, once we found our particular company rep.
The most memorable parts of our experience began when your associate put us in the wrong line. I asked several times if we are paying $149.00 to skip the line why weren’t we skipping the line!!! The tickets cost us 4x$4=$16.00 so the additional $133 was to skip the line.!!! 30 minutes later I managed to find the right line. I was followed by 6 other people who had paid for your service. Not only will I not use Viator again I will make sure no one I know will either
The lines were too long. There was no such thing as skipping the line. Very dissatisfied. I don’t have anything nice to say about it.
When reaching the reservation line at the Accadamia I was directed to an address on my receipt. After locating the building, a PRIVATE multi apartment building, we found a sign propped up on the ground against the building. After a certain amount of time a unidentified man asked if we we wanted to tour the museum, pulling tickets out of his pockets. Reluctantly showing our Viator receipt he put us in a line to the far right if any entrances and proceeded to hawk tickets he held in his pockets. Long past our entrance time we were directed to join the long lines. No one at the Accademia ticket office would acknowledge your receipt except to point out we were in the wrong place. Have friends who had purchased tickets for a fall visit and advised them to SKIP Viator's line. Very unorganized system!
Seems initally sketchy but ticket providers were very friendly and delivered the experience as promised.
Horrible experience. Don’t purchase through Viator. We bought “skip the line” tickets for 11am (Academia Gallery to see David) and it ended up being a scam. They didn’t even have that slot available for us when we arrived and had to come back 5 hours later to get entry. This then caused us to upend all our plans for the afternoon and we only had a day and a half in Florence. I complained to Viator and they offered no solutions or compensation. Buyer beware.
Fast service, guide right in front of the gallery. Best way to enter! Enjoyed the gallery, February not too many people inside.
Loved seeing the statue of David didn't love picking up a dodgy 2nd hand ticket from a man in an alley.
Worst experience ever with getting our tickets. Would never recommend the company you outsource this to. They are rude and dishonest.
