Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Francesco was an excellent guide. Engaging and great with a cranky child in the group. Patient and funny with savvy inside information about food restaurants meals bakeries gelato. As well as pointing out sites and other activities to do in Florence. Small group of eight and nicely paced tour Especially good info about leather and a tip to go to the school of leather for best quality leather items.

Our guide was very pleasant, had a good sense of humor, was very knowledgeable, and personable. The six stops for food samples were mostly from family-owned shops and were the best of Florence’s cuisines.
Serena was a wonderful guide - informative and genuinely seemed to love her work. The stops were efficient and plenty of food was tasted, which is not always the case with food tours. I highly recommend!
Don't eat prior to the tour, the samples of food and wine is plentiful. Our guide Martina was wonderful and helpful, she was full of information and helpful hints that she shared. Doing the tour on the first day was perfect due to her helpful hints to plan our next couple days
This tour was great! Great way to orient ourselves for our first day in Florence and learn more about the food here. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
This food tour was a fantastic experience and a great way to get a sense of a variety of foods Florence has to offer. At 2.5 hours long, you get to try multiple sweet and savoury bites in multiple locations across the city. Our guide Valeri was super friendly and engaging, with lots to say about the food and history of Florence, cannot recommend enough!
Guide, Anna, provided very good information about the food of the region and was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
Outstanding tour of street food in Florence - Serena was perfect and such a great guide. Would do it again. Can’t say how great it was!
Tour was ok, however guide was disappointing. She talked very softly and we had difficulty hearing her. Biggest issue was that she walked so fast during the tour and did not make sure everyone was following her. We had someone who was struggling to keep up with the group and she never checked to see if everyone was there.
Our tour guide was amazing and shared a lot of fun facts about Florence and it’s rich history. The food was great and she shared some of her local favorites with us to explore during our time in Florence. This is a great day 1 activity to get oriented to the city and great food options and know what you may want to order at other eateries when you go out on your own.
It was outstanding! I loved the pace and the choices of restaurants and food items. I do these tour often and did a few in italy. This one is on top of my list. I highly recommend this tour. It was beyond my expectations, it was exceptional!
Great way to try different foods and learn about their provenance. Tour guide Marielisa was excellent.
The tour was super informative and the guide was so friendly! It was a great experience! We tried things we would have never tried on our own!
A well paced tour with interesting stops. We particularly enjoyed visiting the market stall which specializes in Tuscan oils, truffle products and balsamic vinegars. The enthusiastic owner was very informative. Our guide was knowledgeable and we felt the tour provided great value for money
Some walking involved. Serena was/is Awesome. Welll informed in local culture and history. Good choice of food stops.
It was a fun time for all. We met a lovely group of people from Canada, Australia and New York. Our guide, Dilara was the best as she taught us so much about Florence. Grazie Dilara!
I never took a food tour before because I am a foodie and curious person .I am very interested to explore different foods that I see on my own.I thought “What can a food tour show me that I can’t see for myself”? A LOT! I really enjoyed this food tour and plan to take one everytime I travel! Francesco was fun and full of information. There was added tidbits on the history of Florence/ wine windows etc. as well as tastings ! Plus, it was fun and our group had a nice time together. I highly recommend!
Great food we tasted. Definitely recommend . Great communication . What a wonderful experience! The bakery was amazing!
Our tour guide Valeri was excellent! She was so knowledgeable about all things Florence and took great pride and detail In explaining everything. Her enthusiasm was infectious and made the tour so much fun. The tastings were also very generous and we appreciated that they patronized local, family owned shops. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Florence!
Tour guide was great and very personable. Variety of places we visited were nice and provided insight into local history
Lots of walking and a lot of knowledge shared about Florence and food! Serena was our guide! Very sweet and had great stories and information !
Wonderful experience with Anna, she is very knowledgeable and such an accommodating host. Thank you so much cheers!!!!
Our guide was great. Come hungry, food was excellent! A lot of walking but well worth it. Many sights aling the way
The walking tour was approximately 2-3 hours depending on how long the stops. The guide was lovely and spoke Clear English but her voice was quite in the noisy street. The food samples were many and very good. I agree with other posts that the 11am tour is a better option and it covers your lunch needs. My only suggestion is to book at the beginning of your trip so you have time to revisit some of the stops. I would recommend.
Fantastic way to learn about Florence, see the sights and experiences the culture through food. Our guide Miriam was amazing and very knowledgeable. There was quite a lot of food so go with an empty stomach! We would highly recommend 👏
Dilara our guide is amazing & passionate about food and her city. It shows when she showing us the food stops & history of the city. Loved the tour.
The tour was wonderful. Our tour guide Anna was knowledgeable and attentive to our group. All the food was Delizioso! My favorite was the tasting of the olive oils and of course the gelato. I definitely recommend this tour.
The food was solid but our guide Valeria, although funny at times, did not provide much history or context as we walked through the streets nor did she facilitate conversation among other guests. It felt like she couldn’t wait for her time with us to end so she get on to the next thing in her life. I would consider other established tour operators.
This was a wonderful experience that matched local food with history and cultural at the same time. Our guide was so sweet and knowledgeable it made the experience extra fun. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to have a great food experience.
My husband and I, and our friends took the tour and loved it! Valeri, our guide, was terrific. Had a great sense of humor, was very knowledgeable, answered any and all questions and always had a smile on her face. We learned lots from her explanations, and enjoyed it all - especially the gelato at the end! We highly recommend the tour!
A fun way to visit restaurants and get to know the history of the recipes and importance of the certifications
Valerie made this tour! We did the Tasty Florence Street Food walk last night and she was amazing! She has so much energy and it never felt like a script. She really knows Florence. the streets, the restaurants, and the people. It honestly seemed like she knew nearly everyone in town. She’d walk us into a place, greet the owner like an old friend, and then tell us the story behind what we were eating: where the dish came from, why Florentines make it that way, a little history mixed in with the food. That’s what made it more than just a string of tastings. The food was excellent and the walking was a great way to see the city at the same time. We left full, happy, and with a much better sense of Florence than we would have gotten on our own. I f you book this tour, hope you get Valerie. We would do it again in a heartbeat and we’d tell anyone visiting Florence to take it.
A fun experience with other foodies 🤩 traditional and well reviewed bakeries, restaurants and shops which you may not know existed. I enjoyed visiting the market which closes around 2pm, so make sure you book the morning tour for this. Wine and famous gelato included! You learn about the medieval wine windows 👌😁 The only recommendation to improve would be to change the alcohol free offering. There's so many options these days but if not, a fruit juice would be a more interesting alternative. Currently, those who did not drink were offered a bottle of water. Practical but boring! Thankfully I drink wine 😆
we had a rather large group, but our tour guide was very personable. We got to try a lot of different foods.
Francesco is very knowledgeable and very personable. We visited different places that were off the beaten path that most tourists wouldn’t know about. We tasted a variety of food that was delicious.
I’ll just say Anna. Charming, informative, knew the area because she grew up here. Nicely timed, good variety of tastings and settings (pastry shop, then olive oil and balsamic tasting inside central market, then sit down pasta at nice restaurant, cooling off, then secluded cool alley with wine and gelato near nice area by Duomo. Only negative were some walks between places due to the heat, but that’s Florence, not Anna. I could tell she arranged it so we ended with cool down places. Anyway, we did this early morning m our visit and it was a nice way to learn about Florence history, food, and getting around the streets.
It is a fun food tour of the streets of Florence! A great introduction about their local foods and their history. My husband and I enjoyed the bites around the city, at the end of the tour you will not be hungry! Olive oil and truffle tasting, cantucci (biscotti for many of us), gelato, ragú pasta in a Trattoria. The only thing the Schiacciata is just a taste, don’t think you will have the giant panini, so if you want to try one pick one of the local places for the whole experience. Our tour guide Francesco was fantastic!! Super nice guy with a great food background. He kept us fascinated with all his knowledge of history and stories! Grazie mille!!
Absolutely perfect tour, including history sites and delicious food and lots of tastings. Come hungry.
Absolutely fabulous tour, the guide was very knowledgeable, the tour was varied, all the tastings were great, I would highly recommend this tour
Excellent and knowledgeable guide, Francesco
A great introduction to the city. A good mix of food to sample mixed with history of the food, the city and the region. Our guide Anna was brilliant very knowledgable and passionate and made us feel very welcome to the city and the area. Would definitely recommend the tour especially if you only have a short amount of time to get a feel and flavour of the city!
Fancesco was a fabulous guide sharing such wonderful stories & guiding us to some great food experiences- we would do this again
There was 7 in our family group and we’re on a tour with 4 others ands our lovely Guide Valerie(probs spelt wrong). The tour was at just the right pace and the food and guide were amazing. We did the 11am tour which meant that we were able to visit the food market that closes at 3pm which was a great experience in itself( worth noting when choosing the morning or evening tour), and we didn’t need and additional meals until late evening. It was worth the money . Enjoy
We booked this last minute and was pleasantly surprised just how good the tour turned out. Our guide Francesco was a host of knowledge and clearly well liked with the owners and businesses that we visited. He also brought a light hearted and funny influence to the tour. Well thought out trip, superb food, the correct amount of history and an excellent experience all round. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Wonderful walking tour with local lore and oh so much food! Paolo was a fantastic host and we are SO GLAD we did this on our first morning/full day in Tuscany!
We had the best time with our lovely guide Vale! The food was amazing, she was so interesting and we would definitely go again.
Excellent experience with a very knowledgeable friendly guide (Valeri). Not only do you visit some places you would not find on your own but lunch is included on your trip. Skip lunch one day and do the 2.5hr trip instead.
It was a great experience. Francesco was really knowledgeable and took us to some great places! The gelato was excellentB
We had a great experience and our three teenagers had a great time too! Guide was very knowledgable and kept the tour fun!
Francesco was an engaging guide, full of knowledge about Florence and its history. His commentary was fresh sounding, though he must have been through the details many times before. He has great English and tried to include everyone in the group. The food was interesting and, on the whole, good to eat. Finishing on the gelato was a great way to end the tour.
