Small Group Wine Tour & San Gimignano Visit

The tour operator delivered as promised. The tour was above expectation and was perfect. Daniel our tour leader/driver was excellent and was informative and helpful. The wine experience was first class and the small group was the right choice . Overall , I recommend this particular tour and rate it a a must do.

Excellent tour of the Tuscany wine region. The two wineries we visited were completely different experiences, and the side stops were a bonus. Tour guide did an excellent job job driving and keeping us informed. He was very helpful.

This small-group Tuscany tour was one of my favorite experiences during my Italy trip! The countryside was beautiful, and I loved the wine tasting. As the only solo traveler alongside three couples, I felt comfortable and easily connected with the group. It was a wonderful way to experience Tuscany, and I would happily do it again. Highly recommend for solo travelers!

A wonderful tour though Tuscany wine region. Visited two wineries and the beautiful town of Sangimignano. The wine tastings, foods and hospitality were outstanding. We highly recommend!

We enjoyed our driver Osvaldo very much. He was knowledgeable and fun. The first Villa Il Pozzo had the most wonderful enthusiastic guide named Constantina - you will be lucky to get her. Very charming. San Gimignano was a neat medieval village. The second winery where we had lunch had excellent views. All in all a very nice experience.

The tour was so much fun. Daniel was a blast and he knew his stuff. Wineries were also great with great food!

Daniel was great. Easy-going and light hearted. Both wineries were lovely. Really enjoyed Francesco Corbucci's story and his passion for his work. Hearing from the the winemaker himself was really special.

This Wine Tour was fantastic. Easy meet location. Our guide and driver was Cecelia. She was the BEST! Great job describing sites as we drove and on stops. Both wineries were a great experience. The wine and food were fantastic. Quick stop at SanGeminano to try a Gelato and some quick shopping. I would highly recommend this tour.

A highlight of our time in Tuscany! Christian was an amazing guide. We loved the first vineyard, and enjoyed being able to explore San Gimignano. The lunch was filling and views remarkable. 10/10 experience and great value for the cost.

This was the best winery tour we have ever been on. It ruined our college aged kids for all other winery tours. Went to 2 different wineries with copious amounts of delicious wine and food. At the first winery, the winemaker himself was our passionate host. Quick stop at San Gimignano was perfect- climbed to the top of the tower to see the town from the top. The drive to and the location of the second winery was breathtaking. Cannot recommend this enough. I wish I could give it more stars!

My experiences with Viator were always good, and this time was no exception. The wine tasting sessions were amazing, the second one with a full exquisite meal in the paradise like landscape of Tuscany. Our guide Daniele was very friendly and drove keenly on the small winding roads. Only the time in San Gimignano felt to short, but it was the only way to get there without a car.

The wine tour was amazing! Lorenzo, the tour guide, was amazing with a lot of information about the history of Tuscany and Florence. Both vineyards were out of this world. The lunch was simply delicious. I would recommend everyone to take this wine tour.

Our driver Christian is such a happy pleasant person. My husband and I enjoyed our visit to the Terre Di Sovernaja in San Gimignano. The wine guide Lucina was an absolute delight. We toured the castle grounds and did a little shopping and then off to lunch and all of the views were fantastic. Christian took us to our hotel. Absolutely a must tour.

This was an amazing tour from the start to finish. There were a total of 6 in our tour, including my husband and I. Daniel was our driver and tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. We stopped at two small vineyards. Excellent wine, food, and commentary by each vineyards representative. We also were able to spend some quality time in San Gimignano. I highly recommend this tour!!

What a wonderful day trip! I can’t express enough how worth it this is! We got to visit a boutique family owned winery first that had gorgeous views. It was so quiet and peaceful! Food was amazing and wine was even better. Then our amazing guide Giacomo took us to San Giminanno which was the most beautiful town. Giacomo gave us facts about the city and was so personable. Then second winery had a fantastic lunch and great views. We ended the day at Piazza de Michelangelo for sunset views of Florence! It was truly the perfect day! The van was comfortable and clean and the company was amazing! 10/10 experience!

We loved our trip to the wineries!!! The views were stunning, the gelato was unbeatable, and the lunch and wine was amazing!! The first winery was everyone’s favorite. There was plenty of time for pictures and chatting. It was nice to not worry about transportation as we travelled with a large group!

At both stops, we sampled a large variety of exceptional white and red wines. From crisp, refreshing whites to deep, robust Chianti Classicos, the tastings perfectly showcased the incredible depth and quality of the region's grapes. The culinary highlight of the day was a wonderful, authentic Tuscan lunch served right at one of the estates. The food was spectacular, featuring fresh regional ingredients that paired beautifully with the wines we were tasting. Sharing this delicious meal allowed us to truly connect and enjoy the company of the other tour guests, creating a warm, lively atmosphere filled with shared laughs and great conversation. Our tour guide, Cecilia, was the true star and a positively wonderful companion throughout the day. She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history of Florence, San Gimignano, and Tuscany region with effortless charm. Her beautiful Italian accent added an extra layer of authenticity and melody to her storytelling, making every explanation engaging and delightful. Overall, it was an amazing day that exceeded every expectation. The combination of stunning scenery, world-class wines, delicious food, and fantastic company made this tour the absolute highlight of our time in Italy. We cannot recommend this experience, and the wonderful Cecilia, highly enough to anyone visiting Florence/Tuscany.

The Chianti and San Gimignano day tour was the highlight of our Florence trip. We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano on foot, the lunch location was absolutely stunning, and the wine tasting felt thoughtfully curated. Most importantly, our guide Christian was like a ray of sunshine - always keeping the mood light, fun, and engaging. His playlist made the ride back to Florence vibey and memorable

This was a great tour! Daniel was a great driver and guide and we also really enjoyed the stop in San Gimignano. It was clear that Daniel had the business have a good relationship with the wineries and take pride in only taking clients to places where they will have a good experience.

Christian was FANTASTIC!! He selected great wineries based on many factors. We visited two places, amazing wine and food across the board! His knowledge was well versed in the area. He was so good with our daughter which gave us more time to relax. Highly, highly recommend this tour and if you can, request Christian!

Daniel was an amazing guide. The wines were wonderful and the views were the most beautiful we have seen in Italy. The lunch was delicious and handmade by the wine makers mother - DELICIOUS. Cannot recommend this experience enough.

This was by far our best tour of the trip! It was beautiful (the countryside, San Giamiano) personal and educational. The wine is superb and the food was delicious! Our guide Daniel went above and beyond.

The wineries were awesome. Having a home cooked meal at the Sovernaga winery was the absolute best. And the vino was delish The hospitality at Corbucci was over the top. The choices made for us were spot on and our guide was perfecto!

My adult daughter, her husband, and I took the tour in February 2026. It was we everything I expected and more. The food and wine at the wineries was terrific and the driver ensured we were well informed and comfortable, giving us tidbits of information along the way and keeping the vibes high. The money for the tour takes the hassle out of the experience. YOLO so just take the tour.

This was SUCH a wonderful experience. Out of the hundreds of tour options, we are SO glad we chose this one. I suppose any similar tour will showcase the beautiful countryside and breathtaking vineyards... But the service and enthusiasm of the guides certainly couldn’t have been beat! Our guide and driver Danielle was extremely knowledgeable. And, at the first vineyard (Villa il Pozzo), the sommelier Donaldo was the most enthusiastic and passionate! He made the experience better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you Donaldo! PS, I went with my husband for our honeymoon, but our tour group also contained a set of 3 siblings and, separately, a mother-daughter pair. The small group size was lovely!

We absolutely loved our tour with Lorenzo! He was so fascinating to talk to and full of information and history! He took us to the best locations for scenic photos at all our stops and along the way! We can’t wait to go back to Florence to meet up with Lorenzo again and maybe go mushroom hunting and drink more Tuscan wine!

My wife and I found this tour to be AMAZING! It was our final and best day in Florence. The tour started with our wonderful guide, Cecelia, who started our day with a view of Florence from the piazza Michelangelo and then drove up to the first winery where we got a tour of a beautiful vineyard and some delicious cheese and delectable wine. Cecelia then gave us a tour of the beautiful town of San Gimignano followed by a another winery and an amazing Tuscan lunch! Would absolutely recommend and would definitely take it again. Wow! What a great day! Many thanks to our driver/guide, Christian, for an excellent day filled with wine, fun, and laughter. We enjoyed a tour and tasting at Poggio Alloro, followed by a walk about the walled city of San Gimignano, and then lunch at Il Colombaio di Santachiara. It was definitely one of the most fun things we did in Tuscany. I'll be booking with this company on our next trip to Italy!

My wife and I did the small group tour to Tuscany and San Gimano and had the best time. We would highly recommend this anyone wanted a fun experience with good company.

This tour was AMAZING! we started off seeing the view of Florence from the piazza Michelangelo and then drove up to the first winery where we got a tour of the vineyard and some cheese and wine. And then got to tour the beautiful town of San Gimengano followed by a Tuscan lunch and wine tasting at a family home with a meal cooked by Nonna herself!

Daniel was an amazing guide to an absolutely stunning tour of Tuscany! Our day was full of stunning vistas, friendly conversation, and multiple wine tastings. We really enjoyed the extra bonus excursion into San Gimignano! A day trip from Florence not to be missed!

Guide was fantastic. But Viator lied to me about what winery we were going to. Overpriced for the experience we had. Did not like that Viator sales people compete to get commission so they say anything to get the sale

Great visit to two exceptional wineries. Personal experience with the winemakers and incredibly crafted, organic wines! The passion of both winemakers shows in the quality of the wine,! The first had a beautiful food experience under an outdoor arbor where we could see the vineyard & the countryside. The 2nd was a private terrace overlooking the gorgeous vineyard, olive grove & the distant countryside. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch with award winning Safrin Gelato made with saffron grown on his property! San Gimignano is a beautiful little gem added to this tour!

This was a highlight of our Italy trip! Both wineries were so beautiful and the owners treated us like family, including a lunch made for us by a nonna! We tried so many great wines, ate well and enjoyed exploring San Gimignano immensely. 10/10 recommend this tour. Be prepared to purchase wines and olive oils and spend some $$ after each tour. We sent a bunch of product back home 😊
