Small-group Wine Safari: Half/full Day Tuscany Wine Tasting Tours

Beautiful views. Very knowledgeable tour guides and wonderful wines and food. I would say this was the best day we spent in Italy!

We were so unprepared for how beautiful Tuscany is! Sara was such an amazing guide and made the day absolutely worth it! We had one of our top meals on this excursion and the wine was to die for!

We did this experience while in Florence during our trip across Italy for our honeymoon and would deff recommend! Sara was great. Very informative and friendly. Driver was great too but unfortunately can’t remember his name. The second winery where we had lunch was our favorite! Nonnas cooked the best pasta we had while in Italy.

The 4x4 vehicle was great. The wines and food were excellent. The star of the show is Tony, the tour guide.

The places I saw on this trip were straight out if a postcard. 😍 Beautiful. The wine was top tier. Overall very informative for someone who knew nothing except how to drink the wine. The lunch was also better than anticipated. Really tasty! Me and my fiancé had a great time.

This was a fabulous experience and I'm sure all 16 people on the bus thought Sara was a knowledgeable guide with excellent English which made it easy. It was fun, she was funny and interested in our personal expenses and made sure we got the best out of the tour. Cost was reasonable for the full day experience and the views were only matched by the wine and the company. The only minor blemish was our confusion about the pick up point. But all was resolved and we were on our way. We highly, highly recommend taking this tour. For two 60y/os this was perfect.

We had the most amazing experience! Fabio and Tony were absolutely fantastic! We loved learning about the winemaking process, enjoying a wonderful wine tasting, and then taking a beautiful ride through the Tuscan countryside. The experience ended perfectly with a private dinner featuring authentic Italian cuisine and incredible local wines. What a special evening! Tony was so engaging, funny, and entertaining. You can genuinely tell how much he loves what he does, and his passion made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Fabio and Tony made us feel so welcome, and every part of the tour was thoughtfully put together. I can certainly see why this experience has a 4.9 rating! The day was amazing. Emiliano drove the safari vehicle like a pro and Sara was truly a fantastic guide. We did the full day tour option. Would 100% recommend to do this option as there is a third stop included and the last villa was an absolutely incredible property. You really get bang for your buck with this tour. The first stop includes charcuterie and 3 wine tastings. The second stop for lunch was in the middle of a Tuscan forest and made by two lovely nonnas who brought everything out. I think it was my favorite pastas so far this whole trip. There’s also many wine tastings and olive oil tasting here. Then the 3rd stop was a magical villa that felt like it was out of a Tuscany storybook. Multiple tastings here as well, along with cheeses, bread and olive oil. Sara was very informative, sweet, and funny throughout the day. It was a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

The wine safari hosted by Fabio was hard to put into words. It was so much more than we expected even. Fabio is a wealth of knowledge about everything wine and olive oil and he is very entertaining as well. The vehicle was an outstanding means of transportation to enjoy the ride and the beautiful countryside. We highly recommend this experience and we keep reliving it even now that we are back home.

This experience was very unique, our guide Sara was brilliant and funny and made the trip so special. The wines were amazing and the lunch was so delicious in a beautiful setting in the woods of Tuscany. Our off road experience was so fun and Fabio was a great driver. Absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide SARA and our Driver FABIO. They took us across the Tuscan countryside with the at most luxury and experience that we could ask for. Totally would recommend this store if you are visiting Firenze. They were so warm and welcoming and stop at each site made us fall in love with the Tuscany countryside even more.

This was a very fun wine tour. Our tour guide was funny and informative, and the winery was gorgeous. The lunch at the end was delicious and we had a great group of people on the tour with us.

It was very interesting. Sara did a very good job explaining the olive oil and wine making process and we enjoyed going into the back rooms to see how the process works.

The Wine Safari was great and well worth the day spent in the Tuscany region - first at the Poggio Torselli vineyards with a tour of the wine-making and beautiful Villa plus a tasting and then for a long lunch and more tasting at a nearby (and off-road) wine curator shop. Our guide at the 600 year-old vineyards was of course named Leonardo and provided a great tour and insights of the vineyward plus a cool story about the new owner who came back to Italy a few years ago to focous the vineyard on highlest quality wine-making. Why was it a "Safari"? ... the off-road trek to the second location for lunch was off the paved roads ... but not too bumpy and the beauty of the Tuscaan countryside takes your mind off of any bumps in the road.

A fantastic experience. Enjoyed the whole day with Ginevre (hopefully i spelled that correctly), who was very knowledgeable about tuscany and all things wine. The monster truck was alot of fun, and the food and wine pairings superb. The nonna's food at the second winery was to die for.

Really enjoyable day. Sara our guide was so knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about the region, the wines, how to taste and do much more. The off road part was quite exciting and added some adventure to the trip. Would recommend this trip for couples.

We decided to do the 2:30 departure and dinner and wine tasting experience. Beautiful views along the way to the winery and a very intimate and delicious dinner experience after. I learned a lot and tried new wines! Tony was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and Fabio was our driver who got us to our locations safely! We had an awesome time with them both and enjoyed getting away from the city for the evening. Bring comfy shoes and a sweater.

Lots of wine, delicious food, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a beautiful drive off the beaten path in Tuscany. We all loved it and thought it was well worth the price. We did the evening tour and the dinner plus all of the wine pairing with dinner and the olive oil samples were a lot of fun.

Gen and Fabio were amazing for us. The day was well coordinated, highly informative (specifically learning about the wine making process), explorative (taking time to show us the intricacies of each winery), and personable. We were pleased with the boutique wineries we visited, topped by an awesome lunch experience at the wine club, which introduced us to deliciously cooked meals by the two nonnas there, alongside observing Fior Di Latte gelato being made live. I would recommend this to any wine enthusiasts who are interested in a non-pretentious, local and humble experience across the Chianti region. Thank you!

The safari is very well organized and informative. We did two tours with this operator, a pizza class and the wine safari, and both were very good.

We had an amazing time on this wine-tasting safari in Tuscany! My sister and I both really enjoyed the experience, and a huge thank you goes to our fantastic guide, Tony, and our driver, David. Both were incredibly welcoming, funny, enthusiastic, and made the whole trip so much fun. We had a great time along the way, and their energy really made the experience special. The tour was not only fun but also really interesting. We learned about local Tuscan wines, how they are made, and the whole winemaking process. Experiencing the Tuscan countryside in this way was something truly special. One little tip: I would recommend visiting during the summer or grape-harvesting season if you want to see the grapes on the vines. We visited after the season had ended, so unfortunately, we missed that part. However, it was still absolutely worth it! My advice is to go with an open mind, without too many expectations, and simply enjoy the experience, the scenery, the wine, and the atmosphere. We would definitely do this again, exploring a different part of Tuscany next time. Thank you, Tony and David, for such a wonderful experience and for making our day so memorable! This is an awesome trip! The “safari” into the Tuscan countryside, led by our guide Sarah and expertly driven by Sergio, took us to several incredible wineries. This was both educational, learning about the winemaking processes, and DELICIOUS, as we got to taste a variety of wines and foods at each stop. Particularly loved the lively last stop at Valigondoli where the energy was high and we got to participate/observe the gelato making demonstration. The people on the safari weee delightful, ranging from 3 newlywed couples to those married 45+ years. Highly recommend!

Terrific full-day tour at two phenomenal Chianti Classico vineyards and one wine club led by our very knowledgeable tour guide, Sara. Bonus: Freshly harvested olives were being weighed and pressed for olive oil during our visit, so seeing the machinery strip the olives of their leaves and experiencing the strong smell was an extra special treat. The wine club lunch stop that showcased an assortment of wines from different local vineyards was wonderful, and the freshly prepared pasta lunch they served in addition to their wine tasting was terrific. Highly recommend this tour.

Such a great experience. Val, our tour guide was awesome, she provided lots of information regarding the history of Florence, the wine countries and so much more. The first vineyard was absolutely beautiful! Matteo, the host at the vineyard was wonderful. He shared information about the stunning villa, the vineyard, the wine process. It was very informative. We had delicious appetizers and tasted a variety of wines. It was well organzed for a group of 25 people. We left the vineyard and traveled about 40 minutes on a winding, bumpy road the the hilltop of another vineyard where we were greated by a wonderful host with wine tasting, dinner and gelato (made at our table). The tour lasted about 6.5 hours. It was awesome and would highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! The wine was good, but the atmosphere, scenery, and guide were truly 1000/10. The wineries we visited were indescribable. Sara, our guide, was so knowledgeable and fun, and she really made the experience. Stop reading reviews and book this!
