Small Group Day Tour In Cinque Terre And Pisa From Florence

Our small group was 7 people, perfect for this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had plenty of time at each stop.

Incredible day trip along the Cinque Terre! Well worth the money, with the 12 hr trip being just the perfect amount of time! Guide was able to point out all the most important monuments and cuisine to try at each stop. Plenty of time at each town, with a small group of 8 people total. Best for those looking to get a taste of many cities with an incredible guide!

My wife and I loved the tour with Lilium Travel Florence! The early pickup was crucial to avoid trafic both on the road and in our first stop. We stopped at 3 of the five villages along the coast and had just enough time to enjoy and explore the towns. Amilino was our tour guid and made the experience wonderful. He provided just the write amount of info to educate and enhance the experience but not too much to be distacting. We loved the idea that we got to experience the tour from the water aw well as the train. The views and quaintness of the towns are spectacular and the local shops were friendly. As we walked up the stairs to take pictures from the castle we found a mountain side resturaunt and had an delicious seared fresh tuna dinner. Loved the expererience from begining to end. The opperators are a small company of friwnds that take great pride in their tours and business. This was a highlight of our trip! Will highly recomend Lilium Travel Florence! They made every part of the tour simple and fun.

We had a great time! Our guide got us everywhere we needed to be, we got to see the towns from land and boat, got amazing pictures, climbed the leaning tower in Pisa, and he was very knowledgeable and super nice. Thank you!!!

Emelio was informative, kind and the best driver! We went to 3 out of the 5 towns and got to spend time in each. The kids swam in Vernazza and we had lunch in Riommagiore. There’s also some swimming option there but it’s off of rocks so we did not do it but the kids enjoyed climbing around. We arrived via 9 passenger van, parked in Monorolo. We then took the ferry to Vernazza and then train to Rio. Around 3pm we drove over to Pisa where we spent 1 hour, we did not climb the steps and if you want to best to pre it tickets for the time. If I had questions before the tour they were answered promptly. I recommend this family and kid friendly tour for a day visit to CT and Pisa with kids!

This is a perfect sampling of Cinque Terra and Pisa without staying there. The day trip was smooth and our tour guide, Emilio was incredible, he was our driver and guide and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had plenty of time to explore (and eat, drink, and shop) on our own. We walked, a lot but the boat ride, van ride, and train broke up the pace nicely. The weather was amazing, we had a great day!

Emilio was a GREAT travel guide/host. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Highly recommend this tour of Cinque Terre- one of the top five destinations I’ve ever visited.

Fantastic time Emilio was great so much information and super nice . Our group actually became friends by the end of the trip. Such stunning colors and pictures. Pesto and anything lemon is amazing to eat or bring home .

This is an excellent tour for those who would like to explore Cinque Terre but do not want to do all of the planning. This tour was so easy and everything was taken care of for our group.

The day was perfectly planned and timed. You get to visit 3 of the villages in Cinque Terre with plenty of time to explore, shop, and grab a few bites to eat! The drive out of Cinque Terre is so scenic and goes right along the ocean side cliffs. Pisa was a great addition to end the day on with the right amount of time for a photo op and go walk around the area a bit. Our guide was very friendly and accommodating throughout the experience.

After being ripped off twice by Viator our third scheduled trip was a successful primarily because of our wonderful guide, Emilio. Viator is so overpriced and non-supportive that we will never book with them again

One of the highlights of my trip. I'm so glad this company runs this tour even in the off season as it allowed me to experience gorgeous Cinque Terre yesterday as well as cross off Pisa from my bucket list. Such a fun day led by Emilio! Give him 5+ stars. Punctual, great driver, fantastic tour guide, and such a kind man in general. Learned so much from him along the way as he shared facts on history as well as Italian culture. Love the small group format; it was a comfortable ride all day, and with such a balanced itinerary. Even with the slow season and many businesses in the villages closed, I loved being able to experience a bit of what makes them truly special. An absolutely lovely day. Thank you again Emilio, and for sacrificing holiday time to open the eyes of a few of us humble tourists. You definitely made your mark on us and served as a great representative of what makes Florentines so special.

Cinque Terre was a bucket list item for us. This tour from Florence was so easy & we didn’t have to think or figure out where to go. Emilio was amazing and shared so much information and recommendations and made our experience top notch! Would recommend!

Our tour guide Emilio was truly the highlight of our tour! 5+ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 He was knowledgeable, accommodating and though the tour is a long day, it flowed so beautifully. There are a lot tour companies to choose from but I highly recommend this company. Our transportation was comfortable and Emilio took care of everything so we didn't have to. ex. purchasing train tickets, etc. Was in Florence for a week and this was the most magical experience I had. Seeing three towns was just enough and not too much. Pisa on the way back was great. Tour was jammed packed but flowed so well. Again, I can't recommend this company and Emilio was fantastic!

Been booked for more than a month and on our way to Florence, 18 hours prior to the tour happening they messaged us to say “ you have booked with us the tour for tomorrow morning to Cinque terre and Pisa. Unfortunately we haven't reached out the minimum number of guests for the tour of tomorrow. For this reason I'm writing asking if you can change the date”. We had other tours booked for our other days in Florence, so impossible to change the date. They then simply cancelled the booking and notified us we would receive a refund. It is a small group tour, that’s why we paid extra. Very poor, recommend you don’t book with them.

Emilio was fantastic guide! We had a train strike and it was raining and windy (no ferries) so we had to alter our stops due to the diversions but we saw 2 of the 3 towns in Cinque Terre and Emilio took us instead to Ponte Verde which was an AMAZING stop! Maybe even a better stop than the one we missed. We loved being by the sea, seeing the castle and enjoying a fantastic fresh seafood lunch. We topped the day off with a visit to Pisa and a comfortable ride back to Florence. Couldn’t have asked for a better day, or guide. Thanks Emilio! Highly recommend. Ciao!

I can highly recommend this day trip. It’s a great way to see the Cinque Terra. Our tour guide did an amazing job. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and made the entire day. Fun and interactive highly recommend.

Absolutely an amazing day exploring Cinque Terre! Our guide Emilio was honestly the BEST!! He highlighted the quaint towns and the history behind each, all while stopping along the route for the best picture opportunities. He even helped Grandma up and down the stairs! I would give this entire day a 6 stars but only have an option for 5. I highly recommend!!!

Emilio was terrific. He speaks very good English and is very informative. We were briefed about the schedule and how the day would work. This helped a lot with being able to enjoy the day. The van is comfortable.

Excellent tour. It’s a beautiful contrast to the hustle and bustle of busy Florence. Located only a couple of hours out of town the beautiful fishing villages give you a lot to see, eat, swim and buy. Highlight was Pisa!

We had Emilian as our guide! He was knowledgeable and skillful. When there was a busy area he guided us through a side street. I had fallen a week earlier and hurt my knee and he graciously offered me his arm to navigate through the steps and inclines. He also guided us to the part of the. boat to get the best seats and the part of the train to get seats. He shared his vast knowledge of these beautiful villages and Pisa. along with so many other important facts of our tour! We met a couple we met on this fabulous day trip who were fantastic and we not only had lunch them in Cinque Terre, but met them for dinner in Florence the next day. We became fast friends. Don’t miss the opportunity to take this amazing day trip. One of our favorite memories of our trip to Italy!

Wonderful day in Cinque Terre. Each town has its own special charm. Enjoyed the variety of travel from one to another by van, train and ferry. Emilio was an excellent guide. The weather was perfect which was a bonus!

We had absolutely fantastic time. Our guide Emilian was very knowledgeable, informative and patient. The tour is very well balanced between time in group and personal time when we were able to explore places on our own. The only bad thing that this company doesn't do more tours to different places around Florence.

Very nice guide, Emilio. We were escourted to 3 different villages. Once at each village, we were given an orientation and advice on eatery's and then allowed to explore each city independently which was great. Lots of walking up steep inclines. We also were visited Pisa as well. I would recommend this trip.

My friend and I had a great day trip to Cinque Terre with Emilio. The van was comfortable. The drive was long from Florence, but thankfully Emilio gave a bit of the history of the landscape along the way. Suggestions for travelers: eat at the second village as the options are limited at the third, bring euros if you wish to go into the castle, and bring earbuds for the journey back. Our day trip to Cinque Terre & Pisa were wonderful! We started early and got to experience both the boat and train rides between the charming villages, each offering its own stunning views. There was plenty of time to take photos and soak in the beauty of the colorful coastline. Emilio, our tour guide, was great —knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We returned to Florence right on schedule, making it a perfectly organized & memorable day.

Emilio was fantastic - knowledgeable, respectful, funny, and adaptable - all and all the consummate guide. The logistics and itinerary were planned well and thought out. We got an early start on our way to Cinque Terre. Had time for a coffee break en route & started in one of the middle villages, which we were able to enjoy without crowds of people. Vernazza was beautiful but definitely crowded by the time our delayed train arrived. We still enjoyed a hike up to the castle ruins and the view from the overlook. The boat back to Riomaggiore afforded a different perspective. We had a fabulous lunch at Trattoria La Grotta (100% recommend the eggplant parm & I’m not a fan of eggplant normally). The small group was the perfect size and by the end of the day we made some new friends. Pisa was ok, but less enjoyable. Beautiful structures, but too many people and quite a tourist trap before the entrance. There’s no need to ever visit again. We got a small taste of Cinque Terre and would definitely go back for a longer visit to enjoy the villages after the day trip tourists leave. We heard about a tour offered for Parmesan making followed by a visit to Modena to see how Balsamic vinegar is made. Would definitely sign up for that with Emilio. This was one of our favorite days of our visit to Florence/Tuscany. Loved it!

The guide and driver Emilio was excellent. He is very personable and knowledgeable, and did a great job explaining about the towns and what we might want to do in each of them during our short visits. It was great that I was able to book a visit to climb the tower in Pisa ahead of time, and we arrived there right on time for my timed ticket. Thanks!

After reading reviews on some of the larger-group tours, we decided to splurge on a small group trip. It was a great decision. My daughter and I got to enjoy a relaxed van ride from Florence with two other couples and our friendly, knowledgeable guide. We had a nice amount of time to explore the towns of Cinque Terre and the leaning tower on our own. I would definitely recommend!

Good combination of locations to tour. Very much enjoyed all of it. Lots of walking, just in case someone needs to know that.
