We toured a lot of Florence including across the river Plus time in Pisa. We were able to get into the museum to see the original Statue of David

In Pisa you will be dropped by the main square where you will have time on your own to discover this Ancient Maritime Republic; the Cathedral, the Baptistery and of the course the Leaning Tower - for that all-important photo opportunity!
A scenic, hour-long drive through the wonderful Tuscan countryside brings you to Florence city centre where you can decide to visit it on your own or to upgrade to a private guided tour to get the most out of this great Renaissance gem. With the guided option you'll also visit the Accademia gallery to see Michelangelo's David.
You will be driven back to your cruise ship in time for the next part of your journey with fond memories of Italy.

Itinerary
After a comfortable drive in an airconditioned minivan from Livorno cruise port, you'll have the morning to visit this marvellous Renaissance city. Upgrade to the option with an expert art historian guide to get the most of the highlights of Florence. You'll take a stroll towards the River Arno to see one of the most well-known bridges in Italy, the Ponte Vecchio and then to Florence’s Cathedral, the Duomo. This breathtaking edifice is topped by Bruneleschi’s magnificent Dome. You will also see the wonderful bronze doors of the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower. Finally you'll visit the Accademia Gallery, with skip the line tickets, and see the astonishing Michelangelo's David.
