Semi Private Florence Highlights Walking Tour With David

Cancelled by the tour operator because not enough people had signed up. We had no notification of the cancellation from Viator. The app still indicated all was on schedule right up to the tour start time but no one showed up. Very disappointed.

Brian was an exceptional guide!! Really enjoyed all of his insights and he was so friendly and helpful. He made the tour the best!

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the pleasure to visit. The tour was excellent very informative. A tour guide was wonderful. Walk in the streets and hearing about the history was excellent. Obviously the highlight was seeing Michelangelo‘s sculpture of David.

Great walking tour or Florence. A fun and informative tour with optional stop off for coffee or gelato. Highly recommend!

Our guide was Francesca Messina. From the moment we met her, the genuineness of the tour came alive! She was incredibly knowledgeable, conveying interesting facts and hidden gems with a warm, welcoming attitude! there were no delays, everything on the tour was exactly what we wanted and there was no wait to see the Davide. It was a fantastic experience, much of which was due to Francesca and the rest due to the beauty and history of Firenze !!

I'd love to say we had a great time, but the tour operator canceled this tour at the start time with no reason given. Thankfully, Viator refunded our money immediately, and they tried to find us a comparable tour. Unfortunately, nothing comparable was available and we were left scrambling.

Brian was an excellent guide and not only shared many interesting historical facts and highlights of Florence but answered questions brilliantly about shopping, restaurants, off the beaten path things to consider to avoid the crowds

A highlight of our entire trip. Jessica really brought Renaissance history to life for us - the context she provided for the art, buildings and landmarks we saw deepened our understanding and appreciation enormously. Knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, she provided a wonderful introduction to Florence. My husband and I both agreed it was one of the best things we did on our trip. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Tour got canceled last minute by email that I almost did not see because of WiFi.

Brian is an outstanding guide. Smart, energetic and well-spoken, Brian led a beautiful walk around Florence. He was good to answer our questions. He also pointed out some of his favorite local eateries and shared insight into buying from the outdoor markets. His tour provided the perfect overview of Florence, and the Accademia to see David.

Great combination of history, culture as well as recommendations for shopping and other places to visit in the City. The skip the line to see the Davis was well worth this ticket, especially with the record breaking heat! Would highly recommend this tour - our groups of 5 including two teenagers loved it!

Very good overview of Florence, its history, and Michelangelo's developmental years in Florence. Our Guide Christina was really knowledgeable and enthustiastic even though I'm sure she gave this tour a hundred times and the streets were hot and crowded. So glad we booked this tour!

I think this was my favorite tour of our trip. It was our first time in Florence, and Caterina was absolutely wonderful! She gave us lots of info and tips, and showed us her personal recommendations for food and shopping. I’d do this again, totally.

Great history. Lots of interesting stops. Skip the line was great— was a 3 hour wait otherwise. Would recommend.

Seeing the statue of David up close is amazing. You can actually see the veins in his arms. A must see tour.

Great experience. The walking tour covered many sites in Florence and the only way to see David is with skip the line tickets. We had no waiting and our tour guide was excellent led us thru the crowds like a pro.

If you’re ever in Florence you 100/10 need to book this tour and you should 1000% hope you’re lucky enough to get Andreas as your guide!! He was so informative, we understood him 100% of the time, and he was thoughtful of everyone!

Wear good walking shoes, Lots of cobblestone and uneven pavers... typical of town centers. "David" was amazing and the main reason we booked the tour. Our tour guide was ok, good with the facts but kind of dry and monotonous. Little to no humor or personal stories.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable however she spent way too much time and depth on certain topics that were beyond a need to know for a general guided tour of the city. I understand it was pouring down rain and we stood in one spot talking certain topics to death and completely skips multiple sights on the itenary because of rain. We were all drenched anyway so would’ve made no difference. We had to circle back at the end of the tour which was not planned for and clearly not the itenerary that we paid for.

This was a fabulous overview of Florence. Giacomo was extremely knowledgeable but he did not overwhelm us with too much information. He took extra time to make sure we found a cafe with a view at the end of our tour.

There was no skip the line. We waited like everyone else. I would suggest buy your own tickets. The tour was informative but not worth it.

This is the perfect tour to see the sites of Florence as well as learn its history. Manuela was a great guide and a joy to be with. Getting to skip the line to get into the Academia and see David was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
