Itinerary
Enter the Accademia with timed entry tickets and begin the guided visit. Your guide will share how the museum became home to Florence’s most famous sculpture, the David, and what to look for as you move through the collection.
Walk through Florence’s historic center and pause for exterior views near the Duomo. Your guide will point out key details of the architecture and tie the city’s streetscape to the artists and patrons who shaped the Renaissance.
Stroll along Via Calzaiuoli as your guide continues the story between museums. This short walk connects the major landmarks and helps to orient you in the heart of Florence.
Follow your guide to the square where David once stood and where the Medici ruled. Hear how civic power and public art intertwined here. With a semi private group, it's easy to ask questions and dig deeper into the politics, art, and power struggles that unfolded in this spot.
Enter the Uffizi Gallery with timed entry tickets for a guided visit of Renaissance highlights. See works by Botticelli, Raphael, and Michelangelo while your guide explains the myths, symbolism, and techniques behind the paintings. Your guided tour ends inside the Uffizi. Feel free to continue exploring independently in the museum after the tour.

Marco was super knowledgeable (PhD in art history) and entertaining, and the timed entries were invaluable for avoiding massive queues. Well organised too.
Very great tour. In depth information, relatively quick entrance into the museums. The guide was very knowledgeable but didn’t overwhelm us with historic information.
"Our tour of The David and Uffizi was remarkable. Nothing we read could have prepared us for the experience. Marco was exceptional!!! He brought life to each sculpture and painting. His vast knowledge of art history and the connections of the artists, their lives and significance in Italy and the world , told a story that was truly captivating. We left wanting to take art history classes. We are so grateful for Marco in this experience!!"
The guide is very knowledgeable and spoke about a lot of art we would not have known otherwise.
We booked this tour because it was advertised as a skip-the-line guided tour, but that is not what we experienced. My husband and I waited in line for 80 minutes. The tour guide met us when we were almost at the front of the line, along with five other guests and purchased everyone's tickets right there. From my perspective, that is not a skip-the-line experience. We were the ones who spent over an hour waiting in line. I was also disappointed that no audio devices were provided. I've taken many guided tours, and audio headsets have always been included. Without one, I couldn't hear many of the guide's explanations during the one-hour tour. To be fair, my husband did receive an email the night before explaining that the guide was unable to secure tickets in advance and would try again that morning. My husband and I arrived early to try and buy our own tickets and enter on our own without a guided tour but then realized since we already paid for the tour and were told we couldn't get a refund, we felt we had no choice but to continue. Ironically, the only people who actually benefited from not waiting in line were the other five guests in our group, because my husband and I had already spent the 80 minutes in line before the guide arrived. If a company advertises a skip-the-line tour but cannot provide that service on a particular day, customers should be notified in advance and given the option to cancel for a full refund. Overall, this experience was not what we paid for or expected, and I will be requesting a refund.
Cortence (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) was wonderful and so informative as we walked through and admired the art!
Went with a small group to see the David. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. She kept us all organized with so many people and helped the appreciation of the David.
