Isabella was excellent guiding our small group through the masterpieces (and crowds) at Uffizi Gallery. Her knowledge was unmatched and her narrative skill weaved the different periods, rooms and artists together. As we had earpieces, we never missed a detail of Isabella's description, which in turn deepened our appreciation of these renaissance masters. I would not have attempted to see the Uffizi Gallery without a guide.

Itinerary
Meet your host and passionate art historian guide—your key to the Uffizi’s secrets. After a warm welcome, enjoy priority access with timed entry and step straight into the heart of Renaissance art.
Kick things off in the Eastern Corridor, where you’ll check out the amazing works of Giotto and his contemporaries. These early pieces really set the stage for the rise of Italian art and give you a peek into the roots of the Renaissance.
Dive into Botticelli’s world, stopping to admire his iconic pieces, Venus and Primavera. Explore the stories and hidden meanings behind these masterpieces, and see why they’re still celebrated today.
Then it’s on to the High Renaissance, where you’ll discover the brilliance of Raphael, Da Vinci, and Michelangelo. Your guide will share the fascinating stories behind their masterpieces, helping you truly appreciate the lasting influence these artists have had on the world of art.
The tour ends after the second floor, but there’s no rush! Relax with the stunning panoramic views from the terrace, or continue exploring another 300 years of masterpieces on the first floor!

The organizer provided no extra value to justify my entry through the original entrance—it was exactly the same as if I had simply bought a standard ticket. Disappointing.
Gabrielle did an excellent job leading us through the Uffizi, explaining the progression of Western art and the Renaissance from Giotto to Botticelli. She also explained the buildings, architecture and the symbols found in the adornments. We gained much more insight and are thankful to her for her university art history expertise! We recommend this tour to anyone who really wants to see and understand what works are in the Uffizi Gallery and their significance to the world of art. Viator was excellent, communicating clearly and frequently the meeting spot and details of the tour. Grazie, Gabrielle!
Wasn’t so good. Didn’t know in advance or missed it in the motes that my phone needed to be charged and need ear buds. Was not highlighted never the less. Also told to meet by fountain , but not in back so that was an issue. Rented a headset inside , but didn’t work well. Michelangelo only portable piece of art however was beautiful and impressive.
The Uffizi Gallery is packed with so much incredible art to see, and booking a skip-the-line ticket is 100% worth it to save time. Finding our tour representative at the meeting location was super easy, and the audio tour provided great insight into the artwork as we moved through the museum. The only downside was our timing, we booked our slot for 4PM, which didn't leave enough time to explore everything thoroughly before they closed at 6:30 PM. I highly recommend booking your visit in the morning so you can take your time and see all the masterpieces without feeling rushed!
Booking was straightforward and collecting the tickets was too however the audio guide did not work so there was no benefit to using this option instead of just booking a ticket yourself and getting the audio guide at the museum (it is only €6 and there was no queue for them)
Excellent… Guide was very knowledgeable and passionate… Would definitely recommend
The collection is incredible. I did a guided tour which was awesome. I advise you to do the same, otherwise you're just looking at things without any context. Be warned though: it's packed no matter what time of the day you go. If you are looking for that perfect photo, you will need to be patient.
Excellent experience. Alfonso was a very interesting and knowledgeable guide. It's definitely worth the extra money to take this guided tour. 10/10
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and upbeat making this tour a lot of fun. She pointed out a lot of details that you would otherwise not be aware of.
We should have known to order tickets way in advance but we didn’t so this tour worked out really well, the line wasn’t long at all and it came with an audio and visual guide and a map. It’s not my first time using Viator and I yet have to have a bad experience. So far so good! This museum is a must see and if you, like us, didn’t realize these tickets sell out months in advance, this is the next best thing and it’s not that much more expensive for how last minute this was.
The guide was not where they said they would be. We, around 20, customers managed to collect together. We all kept contacting the operator. A rep finally showed up, though this was not "our" rep. "Our" rep finally also showed up. By this time our start time had passed. The pair of them point blank lied that they had been waiting at the meeting point and that none of us had shown up (again, there were around 20 customers). We were also bombarded with forms to fill in and apps to download. The tickets weren't available on their app (even though it said they were), and I had no signal (fortunately my friend had saved the QR code). We did finally got our tickets, we finally did get in. We didn't use the audio tour (needed yet another app). The Gallery itself is lovely and worth a visit, although we found the one way system a bit confusing and wound up not bothering with the first floor as it can only be accessed from the second floor. But we wouldn't recommend this "organiser".
Laura was absolutely outstanding. Her story telling skills to bring the Uffizi to life was very memorable. She looked after our 80 year old mother perfectly too. Highly recommended tour. Everyone was great, from meeting to tour. Laura went above and beyond. 😌
Very knowledgeable and kind!
The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful in every way. She fielded questions with ease and was efficient at maneuvering through a very crowded Uffizi.
This is a great way to see highlights at the Uffizi! Tour is well-paced and informative. The guide was wonderful! Highly recommend.
Claudia was a great tour guide
A great way to see the highlights of the Uffizzi Gallery is with a guide in a small group. Communication about when and where to meet was good and the guide shared lots of interesting information. We really enjoyed it.
Excellent knowledgeable generous with her time and knowledge guide Easy to find Just the right length Reasonable price
Well organized and efficient tour offered insights into the artists of the Renaissance as well as some of their most recognizable pieces of work.
We had a great tour with Crown Tours. Isabella did a wonderful job not only explaining the art but the history of Florence with respect to the art. Everything was very easy- meeting up, getting g through the lines and hearing the audio on the tour. I’d definitely do it again
We were so pleased with our tour. We met the tour guide where asked to and we were guided all the way through the process. Isabella was wonderful in teaching us so much history, not only of the art but of Florence at that time.
Highly recommend this tour! Our guide Emmanuella was excellent. She provided a wealth of information which included all sorts of fascinating stories about the artists, Florence history and more. The tour was paced well and the museum wasn’t too crowded.
Laura was very knowledgeable and imparted information with passion One of us had been before, for the other it was a new experience For both it was a great experience
We had a great Loredanna - she was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the paintings in the Uffizi
It is a VERY busy area with many people and tours. Give yourself plenty of time to your meeting point early. Make sure to note what exactly you are looking for (The hosts shirt color or sign color). It would have been easy to miss if we weren’t paying attention. If you wish to visit the gallery, DEFINITELY purchase the skip the line pass. People looked like they had been waiting all day. The gallery itself was definitely unique with some incredible works of art. For my wife and I, we enjoyed the experience but we wouldn’t go again on a future visit. Personally, I enjoyed sitting in the shade outside drinking a bottle of water people watching and soaking in the vibe. It is an incredible setting.
Our guide Andrea was amazing very knowledgeable friendly and so accommodating- this is an awesome tour and it’s a must “Do” when you go to Florence
The museum is amazing, but what enhanced to the top was our great guide Alfonso, he was extremely knowledgeable and make to understand the magnificent and porpoise of the this masterpieces.
Very disorganized. Meeting point was changed without notice. Tour started late and felt rushed. Very crowded (not their fault) but I would not recommend to anyone and didn't see anything crazy
Great visit, Alfonso was really knowledgeable and open to questions. Did really well to steer the group through a crowded visit. Managed to giude us to the front to explain in detail the artwork explains the meaning and iconography of the paintings. Can't recomend enough.
Excellent tour Alfonso was very knowledgeable and approachable. He was also very calm on a very busy day and managed to get us to see all the important art close enough for him to explain the iconography and techniques of the art. Really good tour, highly recommended.
What a knowledgeable and interesting tour. We loved it. Alphonso made it so special. Go!
Fantastic experience, very knowledgeable guide. It helped to enhance the experience of the beautiful artwork.
Excellent tour guide! We appreciated skipping the line as they were long and there was some rain when we were visiting Florence. The headphones that were provided made it easy to hear everything. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Laura was an excellent tour guide. She was both knowledgeable and passionate when explaining the history of Florence and the artwork of uffizi. She was very approachable as a tour guide and I felt we could ask any question and she would give time and consideration to her answers. Her English language ability was excellent as well, so communication was easy. Overall great first impression of Florence.
Alfonso, the guide, was amazingly knowledgeable. His brief description of the development of the paintings from one artist to another was clear, educational, precise and concise.
A spectacular museum. Isabella was very knowledgeable and knew so much about the art, she was incredible. Highly recommend
Alphonso was a phenomenal guide, articulate, knowledgeable. The pace was excellent, as were the rooms and paintings selected for examination. Extremely good value! Thanks, Alphonso
Our tour of the Uffizi with Lori was absolutely wonderful! She explained the history, artists and art in great detail! Thank you Lori!
10/10 Unforgettable Florence Experience! This was easily one of the absolute highlights of my time in Florence. The entire team was wonderful, but a special shoutout goes to the coordinator with the curly hair. I didn’t catch his name, but he truly went above and beyond to help me out. His genuine warmth made all the difference!
Why I’m obligated to write here lol The experience was amazing
We had a fantastic experience on the Uffizi Gallery Guided VIP Small Group Experience on 23 August 2026. Our guide was absolutely lovely—really pleasant, engaging and exceptionally knowledgeable about the art and history of Florence, the Medici family and the Uffizi itself. We saw a number of important works in the gallery, brought to life by our guide’s expert narrative and fascinating insights. At the end of the tour, we were also directed towards other areas of the gallery so we could continue exploring independently, which was a great way to finish the experience. I’d have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this tour. An excellent experience from start to finish—100%!
We really enjoyed our tour and learned so much. This is very much a highlight tour as it’s tough to get through much of the art in only 1.5 hours. Loradonna was exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the material which made the experience so much better.
A great experience with Ocsana!
Very knowledgeable guide and friendly staff. He even offered to take photos of us. We learned so much!
It was great!! It was a very valuable experience. I'd love to do it again sometime.
Oksana led a very interesting chronological tour of the Uffizi and showed amazing knowledge of the details behind all the paintings. We didn't need to rush, it was methodical and well timed to finish with the Michelangelo and Rafael exhibitions. We recommend this tour!
Aksana was great! really nice tour
