Visiting my college student who is studying abroad, this was a fun experience to do together. Trying to knead the dough and whisk the tiramisu cream brought a lot of laughs. The teacher and staff were very nice and helpful. Next one respect how much effort actually goes into making Italian food from scratch – incredible! Afterwards, we got to eat what we made and take our aprons home, which was fantastic! I would highly recommend this experience; it’s an entertaining bonding activity and you learn a lot.

I’m generally skeptical of this kind of experience, but this class was excellent. Our teacher was Rafa and it was clear he has a passion for his art. I left feeling like I could actually make the pasta and tiramisu at home. I highly recommend this experience.
This was very fun cooking class. The instructor Rafa was so igood and funny. It was truly one of the best activities we did in Italy.
I highly recommend this cooking class! Catalina is a wonderful teacher and chef. We had a wonderful time with great food and wine. You should definitely book this class!
We really enjoyed it! It was a pleasure. We made pasta from scratch and then we ate it, so delicious!
We had so much making pasta! Sam was super helpful and friendly and made the whole experience extra special. We made two different kinds of pasta, long tagliatelle and ravioli stuffed with spinach and cheese. Then the chef prepared our pasta with two different sauces. We also had wine! Lots of it too. We also helped with making a delicious tiramisu. I normally don’t eat it but it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour!
This experience was great fun and a very welcome opportunity to have a good reason to escape the July heat of Florence, and visiting the many museums and churches. Topping off the experience with lunch was perfect timing
We all enjoyed learning to make pasta and tiramisu and the food was delicous. Great fun and Chef Kevin was great!
Kevin’s cooking class was a fabulous experience, and it’s in a historic building—Napoleon Bonaparte’a stables! Kevin (the owner and chef) was very friendly and clear in his instructions with the group, assisting everyone as needed at different steps while making two different pastas and tiramisu. This was such an enjoyable class that I highly recommend, and that’s after previously taking a cooking class in Florence that I thought I liked. When I return, I’ll be sure to take other classes offered through them!
The chef was fun and the class was great but the heat was a little unbearable. It was during a heat wave and we baked as well as the pasta.
Sam was wonderful!! My family had such a great time! The aprons gave us a laugh and the food was great. We learned so much about the origins of food and proper preparation. It was a wonderful evening! I would highly recommend. two types of pasta and tiramisu were filling.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class! Our chef was awesome and the finished food for lunch turned out great!
Excellent chef and perfect accommodations. We made two different kinds of pasta and tiramisu. Instructions were clear, easy to follow and just a lot of fun. The only thing is they did not offer us any aprons at the end.
This was such a fun experience! The chef Raffa made it worth every penny! And we loved the entire thing!
Absolutely wonderful experience. It was more than just a class on how to cook pasta. It was an educational experience that taught us a lot more than we had anticipated. The chef was amazing and the staff was great as well.
Really enjoyed the class. I would definitely recommend. The food was delicious and the teacher very knowledgeable and helpful.
This was a wonderful cooking experience, learned about Florence culture, food and life along with some pasta making skills. The food was amazing. Loved the experience!!
Had an absolutely fabulous time with Raffa! He was very entertaining and informative. Gave you all the tools to be able to make delicious Italian pasta on your own. If you’re deciding between different experiences, please take this as your sign to book with them.
What an amazing experience & a must do in Florence. Rafealo our host was the absolute best! He was kind, passionate, knowledgeable & gave us so much insight about the culture & food. We not only learned how to make pasta & tiramisu but the history & love behind it. Sam was our chef & she was lovely. She was funny, engaging, & helpful. The hands on experience was absolutely memorable. Everything that was written in the description of this activity they far exceeded. We made two types of pasta (pappardelle & spinach ravioli) . The two different sauces were made by them. The tiramisu was mostly a demo by them with volunteer participation to learn some of the techniques. It was delicious & tasted better than anything I’ve ever had in the USA. We got hilarious statue of David aprons that were included in our package that we love as a souvenir from this great experience. They also served unlimited wine (red & white) & water. They served delicious bread with olive oil & prosciutto & salami in between cooking. There’s short bursts of free time for bathroom breaks, photo opts, to go outside for fresh air, or just sit & relax & have wine. The room was intimate & the perfect size (13 adults). It was fun interacting with people from around the world & the small group experience was intimate & the perfect size to be able to enjoy the experience without feeling overcrowded. If you don’t do this experience you’re missing out. This was a definite highlight of my trip. Grazie!
We had an amazing time in this class. We have two younger children (5 and 8) and the instructor both did not slow down the class so the other 10 adults could still enjoy it, but also made sure the kids understood what was happening and helped them where needed. It was the perfect balance of allowing everyone to fully partake in the class and have a good time.
This was an AMAZING experience. I took 5 teen girls (only 2 of who had an interest in cooking) and everyone had a great time. Chef Marvela was excellent! Her expertise, patience and passion for cooking made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend booking and asking for her because she can teach everyone from learning how to crack an egg to perfecting a delicious pasta meal with ease! This is an experience that we will never forget! Grazie Chef Marvela!
A lot of fun learning how to make pasta and tiramisu. Our chef was funny, energetic and informative. Made the whole experience very enjoyable.
Chef Kevin was a great teacher! We made two kinds of pasta and tiramisu. This young man has a passion for cooking and loves what he is doing. He and his staff were very friendly and helpful and made this a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this fun and delicious event.
So great and fun. Ralpha was the best! Taught our family how to put love in the making of pasta. Experience was unforgettable
Teacher was smart and fun! Worked with everyone and made sure we enjoyed and did well. Our family enjoyed both the experience and the food we made
Everything was amazing. Nice food and lots of wine. Our group was very nice and all the people that participated great
This was such a fun class! Highly recommend! The pasta was delicious and easy to make! The tiramisu was delicious!
Everything was amazing! Kevin was very friendly and had a great conversation with us. The pasta and Tiramisu were delicious
Great experience! Our chef made the experience entertaining & a lot of fun. The food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone in our family.
Fantastic! I would suggest this class for anyone except young kids. Very informative, made great pastas, learned about tiramisu. Sat down and ate as a large group. So much fun! And lots of great wine!
This cooking class was over the top excellence. First of all, Giuseppe and Anna's house is beautiful with a fantastic view of Naples. They are a welcoming, friendly couple. When we arrived, they were all set up and we dove right in. The instruction, ingredients and final result we more than we expected out of ourselves. Absolutely delicious! We would go back and highly recommend this experience regardless of your cooking prowess or lack thereof.
Happy fun would definitely do it again. Right on time. Chifzcjhdzbnhxcnnczbmmjkkidxzgfdssgjjfdfjjfxhccj
We couldn't recommend this more! I have done other Florence cooking classes, which were all fun, but this one is is absolutely next level. We learned SO much, not about just how to cook this meal but why, mixed in with Italian philosophy and history that impacted our entire trip and everything else we experienced too. We loved how this class was not just for entertainment value, but for actual deep learning along with the joy of making an amazing meal. Book this immediately!
The hosts were fun and knowledgeable. We all had fun trying to make pasta. We made our own pasta but we did not make tiramisu. The chef made the dessert and shared it with us.
My daughter and I enjoyed making fresh pasta and tiramisu. The chef made it an enjoyable. She was funny and entertaining. She explained and helped us make delicious dishes. I would recommend this to anyone.
The pasta making class was a lot of fun. The aprons provided were a great conversation starter. The class was a bit crowded, not a lot elbow room. The pasta was delicious and the tiramisu was wonderful. The wine was flowing and conversation with whole group was very interesting and entertaining. And a bonus, this restaurant has a wine window. Just a fun photo op.
Great time. Learned a lot. Very gracious hosts Lots of wine and good times. Good size class and they handled it well
You can go alone and still feel comfortable. You will eat your dinner after you prepare and at is very informative and fun
Such a fun time! Nice size class. Learned a lot. Pasta was outstanding. Tiramisu great too. We took recipes home with us. Delightful
We weren’t sure if this would be with it, but turned out to be one of our favorite dinners. Worth it!
Very fun! We did it our first night in Florence and it was a great way to start the trip. The staff were amazing, the food we made was good. 10/10
Rafa was amazing and entertaining. We learned so much about making pasta and tiramisu as well as the history of Florence. I would give 5 stars but I think the group was too big so it was hard to hear all of the instructions and tidbits. Highly recommend this class for the delicious food that we made and ate as well as the endless red and white wine! Rafa was great at answering questions and they had another assistant who was wonderful too. I’m excited to try making pasta at home.
There were a few positives and negatives with this experience. While chef Maggie was great and most of the guests were nice and friendly, one of the other guests consumed too much of the unlimited wine and ending up throwing up at the table and causing issues for the group and the establishment that were gracious enough to host us. I also believe that the group size was a bit too large, leading to a slower time to have everything prepped and too much time with wine before food. The food was generally ok but could have used more salt across the board. Overall still interested in this experiences but this one had some major flaws causing me to rate it as I did.
It was a great experience! Kevin was knowledgable and passionate. He made sure everyone was engaged and understood what to do, while also balancing some fun chat between! We enjoyed the group setting and the sauce and spinach we used in our pasta was great. Unlimited wine was great too! The location was in an easy spot in relation to the other sites and hotels. Would definitely recommend!
There were only 12 people in the group so instruction was very personalized and fun! Making the pasta was very enjoyable and the wine was fantastic- and unlimited! All the raw pasta was collected and cooked but it wasn’t just randomly served- what YOU made YOU ate. The staff, Maggie and Leonardo, were very kind yet firm with the instructions and took time to help give tips along the way. They did a great job keeping control of the flow. 12/10 recommend!
We had a little "down time" so my daughter and I took this cooking class on our last night in Florence. The class was far in the back of an actual open restaurant. What a shame if we had missed this fun experience. When we got to the class, a couple realized that their class was "yesterday," yet the restaurant welcomed them into our class and extended the work table. Very accommodating. Our instructor was funny, patient and professional. I'm so glad that we didn't miss this class. My daughter and I had such a great time and talked about it long after.
This was such an incredible experience, we were a large group of 7, we were able to get great hands on instructions. The instructor was amazing, very helpful, kind and funny! We had a blast with all the members of the cooking class and will forever remember this experience in Florence!
Kevin was amazing. Highly recommend this tour. There was 18 of my family members and we had so much fun. Food was fantastic!
We booked this class last minute and we are glad we did. Rafa and Lucy were great teachers and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. I’m so excited to go back home and try to do what we learned.
This was such a great experience for the whole family. Our chef was amazing and so knowledgable, the wine was flowing and the pasta was delicious. We learned so much about Florence through this class. The tiramisu was next level. I would highly recommend this pasta making class for the whole family!
