Cinzia was a delight to spend time with. A patient instructor, an excellent chef, and a sparkling conversationalist (and a fine soprano!). We had a spectacular evening learning about tagliatelle, herbs, cheeses, seafood, bruschetta, panna cotta, etc. and the proper way to make and enjoy each. Cinzia has our highest recommendation!

Itinerary
Begin your Florence cooking class in your local host Cinzia's home with a freshly prepared Tuscan appetizer! Then roll up your sleeves and learn to cook regional Italian pasta from recipes passed down through generations of Cinzia’s family during a hands-on Tuscan cooking class. Choose when making your booking between a cooking menu that includes either three handmade pastas and sauces (cut pasta such as pappardelle or tagliatelli, stuffed pasta such as tortellini and gnocchi) or one pasta and a meat main course. You will also learn to create a seasonal side vegetable or dessert with either menu. End your meal with a traditional Italian dessert you’ve created such as a tiramisu, panna cotta or brutti ma buoni ("ugly but good") biscuit and hazelnut dessert. Enjoy learning about the tricks and techniques involved in cooking Italian family recipes before you sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare. Your meal includes prosecco and wine. Please note that Cinzia can host a max of 6-7 guests in her kitchen. If there are 8 or more guests, she hosts at a different venue in Florence. She will send you the exact address upon booking confirmation for larger groups.

Thank you so much, picking out the food and then cooking it with you was an amazing experience, Cinzia was the best person we could have ever imagined!
Cinzia was amazing and the food she had us make was absolutely wonderful. She was a kind and gracious host and we learned so much from her.
Everything was amazing. Cinzia was so knowledgeable about the area as well as cooking. Our family had a great time cooking and EATING the most delicious food!!! We will definitely recommend this tour to anyone coming to Florence.
Cinzia is literally the MOST AMAZING person, she made our experience so so special. She was so welcoming and kind, and so informative, my kids said it was like cooking with a friend. The food was amazing from start to finish, and she easily balanced helping both kids and adults participate in the preparation. Even the pickiest of our family ate every bite. Thank you, Cinzia, for a one-of-a-kind memory.
Oh my goodness we loved Cinzia and her entire energy. Her home is tucked back a little, so tricky to find, but she was right at the entry of her building waiting for us. We loved learning how to cook authentic Italian dishes on her patio with her-it was a really unique experience. She is very sweet, very relaxed and really gave us the confidence to cook our dishes/make pasta back home. Would definitely recommend this experience for couples or small group!
We had the most wonderful experience with Cinzia! The food was incredible and we felt that we had the true Italian cuisine experience! Would highly recommend to any and everyone who wants to slow down and cook a home cooked meal in Italy!
We had the most incredible experience led by Cinzia!! She brought us on a curated tour of food shops around Florence and provided great recommendations for other places to see and visit around the city. She was sure to ask our preferences at every step as we chose fresh ingredients to cook for dinner at her beautiful home. We made ravioli with pecorino cream and shallot pear sauce, chicken fricassee with asparagus, and panna cotta with brown sugar strawberries. Everything was so delicious and Cinzia was an excellent teacher— we will definitely be revisiting these recipes at home! It was so lovely meeting her and getting to know her on this trip.
Chensia was wonderful, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to be around and listen to. I’ll be referring her to everyone we know. Thank you Roberto & Andrea Miranda
The BEST place to go for a cooking class! It was so peaceful and it felt so nice to relax and cook. Miss Cinzia was the nicest lady, very sweet and loving in everything we did. This was such an experience and it could not ever be replaced.

Cinzia was a wonderful host. Not only did we learn to make pasta but she also shared with us stories about her family, her culture and the history of food in the area. What an incredible experience. Very great to learn all about the food culture and how to prepare some incredible dishes. This was hands down one of the coolest things we have done during our time in Florence.
This experience was beyond our expectations! We had a private class (just my husband and I) and made a 3 course meal at Cinzia’s home. It was the most authentic meal and evening that we had on our trip. She is also very knowledgeable and welcoming. I would recommend this to anyone considering it!
Cinzia was amazing! She hosted us in her home and taught us authentic Florentine dishes which we helped prepare with her instruction. We highly recommend this hands on experience for couples or small groups. She will explain all dishes, ingredients and backstory with connecting stories of her experiences and the guest. By the way, the food turned out excellent! It was an experience we will never forget. Thank you again Cinzia!
We had such an enjoyable experience with Cinzia in her home! We made 3 pasta from scratch followed by some amazing biscotti! We had a private class, but she often times does larger groups!! Highly recommend and we hope to be back or even return the favor soon in the US!

Cinzia was a wonderful host! She took us around to the markets to get the ingredients for our meal that we would be preparing and gave us great shopping and restaurant tips as well as sharing interesting information of areas we passed along the way. She took us to her beautiful house outside of the city and we prepared our meal and dined on her beautiful patio. She taught us how to make the most amazing pasta, and Panna cotta dessert. Chef Cinzia was a delight. We had a wonderful late afternoon/early evening learning, enjoying and eating/drinking. Chef was approachable and knowledgeable -- without the overtones of authoritative pomposity. We had a delight!!
This was an amazing, utterly magnificent experience!!! The cooking aspect was wonderful but even better was just the ambience, interaction, and conversation!!! Highly recommend and will definitely do again when we return another time!!! Grazi, Cinzia!!!
One of our favorite things we did in Florence. We loved cooking with Cinzia and having true Italian food. She is an amazing cook and host!
As my clients travel advisor I received this message. "We had such a great time. Cinzia was a lovely host and we felt so welcome at her home. We are all excited to use our new skills when we get back home! Thanks again so much for organizing this for us!!"
Cinzia was a lovely host and taught us how to make some amazing delicious food. First, we were greeted with cheese, bread, and Prosecco. Then, we made bruschetta, homemade ravioli, a pork and apples dish, and tiramisu. We were also offered delicious wine throughout our visit, as well as a blueberry grappa to end our evening. Cinzia is very kind and friendly, and knows a lot of history of Florence and cooking. I will definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Florence that wants an authentic cooking experience. Thank you again for hosting us!!!
My wife and I were warmly welcomed into Cinzia’s home and shown to her BEAUTIFUL Tuscan patio where the table was set among here beautiful flowers and garden. She walked us through making three traditional pasta dishes and then guided us through preparing, cooking, and eating them (along with a delicious dessert we made first!). Book her if you can, we DEFINITELY will cook with her again when we return to Florence!
Our family had a wonderful time cooking with Maria at her beautiful home outside of Florence. As a party of five, Maria met us at the planned spot and drove us the rest of the way to her house. Upon arriving, Maria had everything we needed to enjoy an amazing meal. We began by making a tasty bruschetta appetizer before learning how to make pasta from scratch. Maria even gave us options and we ended up making both tagliatelle and ravioli. Our three teenage children were engaged and had an amazing hands-on experience. To top it all off, we learned how to prepare a simple and delicious tiramisu dessert. We enjoyed all of our creations at a beautiful table outside Maria’s lovely villa. I highly recommend this experience to all who will be traveling in and around Florence.
An amazing hands-on experience for our family of 5 (age 10 - adults) in the private home of an expert. We made pasta from scratch, prepared a chicken dish, made panna cotta and enjoyed a beautiful meal together. Great memories!
We had a great evening with Alessio Vallini, aka Fungomaniac, at his apartment about a mile and a half from our hotel on the east side of Florence. Allessio had fresh mushrooms HE HAD HUNTED earlier that week! We prepared them in a delicious crostini. For our main course, Alessio taught us to make pasta ravioli (first time). We felt like we had a friend living in town. Everything was incredibly delicious! To cap things off, we had a wonderful orange shortbread with fresh whipped cream that was his grandmother’s recipe and was delightful. He also shared the recipes freely so we can try them when we are home. I would highly recommend a class and dinner with Allesio when you are in Florence. You will love it.
Outstanding host makes for an outstanding experience. Thank you Cienza for teaching us your craft and sharing a wonderful meal and evening.
the host cenzia was great and very informative plus the food was excellent. she was very attentive to our questions and presented in a way that was helpful to understand.
So fun! Cinzia taught us about the traditional Tuscan method of making pasta. First, we prepared a protein pasta dough. Next we let the dough rest while we prepared a potato and spinach gnocchi. Then we prepared tagliatelle with a classic tomato garlic sauce, pecorino stuffed ravioli with pear and shallot sauce and gorgonzola cream sauce for the gnocchi. For dessert, we prepared a coffee mousse. My family had a lot of fun. For planning purposes, I had difficulty getting a taxi to Cinzia's and back to the hotel so I would recommend making arrangements for transportation in advance. Her home is roughly a 15 minute drive from the Piazza del Duomo.
We had a great experience. It was fun, informative, encouraging and most importantly delicious! We purchased gift certificates for our driend to have an online course. Do this, you won't regret it.
Cinzia is a delight! I would highly, highly recommend booking this experience with her. Our boys loved making their own pasta, and we had so much fun putting all the ingredients and courses together. Cinzia was a terrific host, and I would love to book her again to come to our flat if we have a full kitchen.
