Luigi was an excellent tour guide. His enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of where we were going was so greatly appreciated. We did a private tour of Tuscany and it was everything we dreamed of And More. He even took us to the American cemetery. We had a lovely lunch at a privately owned Vineyard with a wine tasting. That was fabulous.

We had a wonderful tour with our knowledgeable and personable driver, Luigi, who went above and beyond our expectations. He was prompt, courteous, communicative, and made the entire day enjoyable and informative. We drove through the Florence American Cemetery, which was peaceful and very moving. Luigi shared so much fascinating information about Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano, making the experience even more meaningful. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch at Fattoria Sant’Appiano near San Gimignano. The winery was beautiful, and recommend adding this experience to the tour. On the way back, we stopped at Piazzale Michelangelo for some beautiful pictures overlooking Florence. We highly recommend this tour—you will not regret it! 🇮🇹❤️

I am not usually one to leave reviews, but I actually made a note to myself that I had to write one for Gino because he truly deserves it. From the very first time I contacted him, Gino was incredibly helpful and patient. I went back and forth quite a bit trying to plan the perfect day—where we should go, what we could realistically fit in, and how we could see as much as possible while still taking the time to actually enjoy and experience Tuscany. He never made me feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. He offered great suggestions and helped us put together a day that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Our day/evening took us through some of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany, including San Gimignano, Siena and the Chianti countryside, before ending with an unexpected stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for an incredible panoramic view of Florence. Somehow, Gino helped us fit so much into one day without ever making the day feel rushed. On the day of our tour, Gino arrived a few minutes early but immediately let us know to take our time coming down. From the moment we met him at the car, he treated us like family. He is so warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. As we drove through Tuscany, he pointed out different places along the way and shared little bits of history and information about what we were seeing, which made the drive itself part of the experience. At every stop, Gino would get out of the car and take pictures for us. He was never watching the clock or making us feel rushed. He would always tell us, “Take your time, enjoy,” and we would simply agree on a time and place to meet before heading off to our next stop. One of the best parts of the day came from taking his advice. We had originally planned to have lunch somewhere up in the hills mainly for the beautiful view. Gino was more than happy to take us there, but he suggested that instead we go to Siena and have lunch there because he thought we would enjoy the experience more. We listened to him, and I am SO happy we did. Siena was amazing and absolutely worth changing our plans for. Then, on our way back to Florence, Gino told us he wanted to stop at Piazzale Michelangelo so we could see the incredible panoramic view of Florence. I had thought it was somewhere you could only reach on foot, so it never even occurred to me to ask about going there. I am so grateful that he suggested it on his own. It was the perfect way to end an already beautiful day. Tuscany itself was an unforgettable experience, but having Gino as our driver made the day even more special. He wasn’t simply someone driving us from one place to another—he genuinely cared that we enjoyed our day and experienced the best of Tuscany. If you are visiting Florence and want to spend a day exploring Tuscany, I cannot recommend Gino enough. Call him. Listen to his suggestions. And enjoy every minute of it! Luigi was wonderful! We had 3 adults going for a specific visit to Siena and since we ended early, he suggested a vineyard on the way back - lovely! He was informative and helpful and we had a great day … so much so that when our train was cancelled 2 days later due to strike we reached out to see if he could be our driver to Venice and yes! I would highly recommend and use again if I am back in the area. Top notch service!

We spent an amazing day with Luigi in Tuscany. Luigi was incredibly knowledgable, a great driver, and such a nice guy. He took us to places we would never have found on our own. We visited Siena and San Gimignano which which are gorgeous towns and Luigi always brought us to the easiest access and most convenient locations. It was so easy with his help. We had an amazing wine tasting expreience at Arrigoni 1913 with delicious boutique wines and gorgeous views. It was just outside of San Gimignano. Overall it was an unforgettable day and Luigi made it happen for us. His Mercedes van was state of the art and brand new. 5 stars.

The driver was not very friendly nor gave us infos. He was just a driver. In both cities he gave us a paper in the hand, one page with a map and few words about the places. This I could find much better on internet. No value for money. And in the end he repeated that his tour finishes at 17.00… we finished at 17.15 so 15 min later due to traffic, because we always returned on time to the Meeting points. So if you want to pay 650 eur for driving from Florenz to Sienna and San Giminiagno and back, its ok. But I guess that normal taxi or car rental is cheaper.

Francesco was awesome. Almost as awesome as the Tuscan countryside. He was flexible and we customized our trip even the day of. In the morning, we had on the agenda to pay respects to my great uncle who gave the ultimate sacrifice at the American Florence Memorial. However, it was overrun by local politicians on Memorial Day. We cut short a little our Sienna and San Gimignano portions but absolutely took all of the local vineyard, wine, and food in on our lunch stop. We did a lot of tours / excursions from Rome to Sorrento via golf cart and boat, but this was at or near the top of the list for most family members when asked. We did hit the Memorial last in the afternoon. Note, you tour Sienna and San Gimignano yourself but they are small and easy to navigate. We had no problem given our compressed timeframe. We bought wine, olive oil, pesto, truffle salt, shoes, belts, soap, custom socks along the way. Luckily it all fit on our way home!

Francesco is a very sweet and kind gentleman who really cared about our appreciation for Italy. We unfortunately, had rain all day, which really dampened our experience, however Francesco tried to accommodate and took us to an additional stop at a wine tasting cellar featuring hundreds of different wines and labels. Was super cool and made the day more special. The Mercedes mini van was nice and comfortable too.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on this private Tuscan tour with our driver Francesco. Francesco was very warm and engaging and he did a great job driving in the comfortable minivan. He was knowledgeable on the area and history and never tired of answering my questions. The church in Siena was very beautiful and we enjoyed the large piazza. The lunch at the winery was great for both the food and the wine...we ended up purchasing wine from them. San Gimignano was very interesting and charming and the views over the Tuscan countryside were stunning. The drive back to Florence was also beautiful before we ended the day at Piazza Michelangelo with a great view over the city of Florence. This was an amazing day and we really appreciated seeing all the sights and enjoying our day with Francesco.

We had the best time with Francesco. He was a wonderful tour guide and driver for us. It was a rainy day and he greeted us at our condo door with umbrella's to get us to the tour van. We super enjoyed Sienna, Tenuta Guardastelle winery and San Gimignano. Francesco told us the secrets of each place we went and the best things to do or to try. You will have the best time and make the best memories on this tour.

The driver was fantastic. The car was clean and felt safe. The wine tour and lunch was amazing. I felt like it was a little misleading that there was no tour for Siena. That was very disappointing.

I am soooo behind in posting this review, as we took this private planned tour on September 25th and it's now Ocotber 29th. But...I can NOT say enough wonderful things about Luigi. After finding his company on Trip Advisor, I had been working w/him via email since June in order to plan a more personalized private Tuscany tour that encompassed a combination of places. I was most concerned that all would be 'perfect', as I was planning this tour for not only me, but my best friend & her husband, who so graciously handled all the OTHER components to my amazing Italy trip. Suffice it to say that my silly worries of 'what might go wrong' never materialized. Luigi was the consummate host & tour guide! He continued to assure me that our plans would materialize just as I wanted. He arrived earlier than our 9:00 a.m. meeting time to pick us up in Plaza Santa Croce. His brand new Mercedes van was ever so comfortable. He played lovely music for us, and included some videos for us to watch as we drove, that captured the Tuscan region (Andrea Bocelli, Tuscany, etc). His knowledge and love for his beautiful country abounded. Our first stop was the Florence-American Memorial Cemetary...as he explained, gifted to the USA from Florence for American lives lost in WWII. It was incredible. We journeyed to Siena, gasping at the beautiful countryside en route. We enjoyed this lovely medieval town and it's outstanding cathedral. Next up was an awesome winery tour, lunch & tasting. Our last stop was to the town of San Gimingiano, another beautiful medieval town. It was a full day, returning to Florence at almost 6:00 p.m.My only regret was that we didn't get a photo with Luigi! We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our driver (Francesco) was very friendly, knowledgeable of the areas we visited, and provided safe & smooth transportation. We had a wonderful lunch and wine pairing at Sant'Appiano Winery. The staff there were very charming and friendly, especially Alex, who took great care with explaining the wine pairings and navigating my wife's dietary needs. The Super Tuscan wines we tried at their property were outstanding! The towns of Siena and San Gimignano rounded out the day nicely, and we enjoyed spectacular views of the Florence skyline from Piazzale Michelangelo upon our return. We highly recommend this private tour!

Well it started with great communication with Gino. Very quick to respond. Gino picked us up not too far from our apartment and was greeted with a smile. He first took us to an overlook with an amazing view of Florence in the background. From there the journey began. We asked a lot of questions he gave us a lot of answers. And I think this is what makes it a memorable experience. Ask questions. !!! We did have a little bit of a delay on the main Highway. Turned out it was a fatality accident and we were stuck. We made the best of it and had good conversation. Once we got past that Gino was very motivated to get us to see as much as we possibly could. First stop was Sienna, the main Square is definitely a sight learning a little bit of history and about the annual horse race they have in the Square. That would be something to see. Next stop was San Gimignano, another great location with Incredible views . Walked to the top of the hill and enjoyed a nice glass of Chianti. Last was the winery. All were terrific. We did feel a little pressure at the winery because we got there so late. Again no fault of anybody and we were understanding of that. On the ride home with the evening glow of sunset, Gino put on screen an Andrea Bocelli video recorded in a Tuscan Hills Amphitheater. A great way to end the day. Day dreaming, looking out the window of all the wineries and Vineyards. Wow this is Italy.

It was a very pleasant day trip and very informative. Francesco gave us lots of little insights throughout the tour. If you add the lunch and wine tasting - you will have a wonderful experience on a centuries old farm. The new owners (60 years ago) have done a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome to their home.

From the moment I booked the trip, Gino was in contact with details and advice for the trip. When we met Gino the morning of the trip, he was friendly, polite and welcoming. The van he uses, is in perfect condition and impeccably clean. Gino is an excellent driver and he made stops at places we hadn’t expected but were fantastic for sites and views. Throughout the trip, Gino taught us the history of the area and the towns that we would be visiting. He was very flexible with the schedule. And having Gino was a benefit because of his intimate knowledge of the area and ability to get us close to the sites to minimize walking distances. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy and a lot of that had to do with Gino.

Francesco was a wonderful driver and guide for our day in Siena and San Giminagno. We especially enjoyed the Santa Appiano Winery and lunch.

The beauty of Tuscan hill country cannot really be conveyed in writing. Our guide, Gino, made the experience that much better. Lunch at Fattoria Sant’appiano winery was the absolute best part of the tour.

Luigi promptly picked us up at our Florence hotel and provided thorough information about the area we drove through. We really appreciated his knowledge as it added to the whole experience. He also stopped at a cemetery in Greve that was beautifully maintained for American service men who died in WW2. It was very moving and a complete surprise to us that this memorial even existed. It was really beautiful. We visited 2 lovely cities with free time to walk around and in between we had lunch at a private winery. The winery views and service was wonderful. Luigi played an informative video and beautiful music in the car during long stretches of driving. We would highly recommend this full day tour! It was one of our best days in Tuscany.

There was no tour. The driver played a Rick Steve's video about Siena on the way there. He dropped us off at both cities and told us what time he would be back. The tour was actually just a real expensive taxi ride!

What a fantastic day! Our driver Gino prepared us for every stop and the drive was lovely. The best part for us was the stop at the winery. We had the best food and wine we’ve eat in Italy and the family was very gracious and kind. Highly recommend Gino and this excursion!

We told Francesco that we wanted to change the trip a little and go to an extra winery and he was so accomodating and planned us an absolutely amaaazing day! Really wonderful and relaxing way to see Tuscany. Francesco was our driver and was superb! He dropped us directly in the Siena plaza and accommodated us by picking us up directly at the Siena Duomo, which my grandmother appreciated. Everything was so well-taken care of for us that it was a very easygoing day and highly recommend doing a private tour and driver over a large tour bus.

My wife, my kid, and my friends and I decided to take a private tour of Chianti during our trip in Tuscany. It was the best thing we did. Our driver, Francesco, picked us up a our hotel at 9 for the full day tour. He was very friendly and he made us feel welcome. First stop was Piazzale Michelangelo, where we could see the beauty of Florence. Then we went to Siena and afterwards we had lunch in a lovely winery, where we had the chance of enjoying a lovely Tuscan meal while overlooking the hills: it was absolutely a life-changing experience! After lunch we visited a wonderful village called San Gimignano. Francesco -our driver- made the tour! He didn’t rush us at all and made the experience feel hand-tailored. Our 5 yo wasn’t too enthused about spending a whole day in the country side but Francesco made sure little Sam could participate in the activities with fun trivia for both adults and kids. He told us all about the history and the wine making of the area: we learned a bunch while having a blast and seeing breath taking landscapes. We highly recommend Francesco as your driver for this luxury tour.

The driver, Dario made our trip a perfect experience. My husband and I, our four boys and daughter in law traveled from Florence. Dario was on time to pick us up in the morning from the place we are staying. He could not have been more accommodating. He had water available for us to drink, the van was comfortable for 7 people plus the driver. I was pleased how informed Dario was with the region and wine. My boys thoroughly enjoyed a long conversation about cars, travel and soccer. In fact he went out of his way to show us the historic soccer in Florence. The two wineries we visited were beautiful and the wine even better. The staff were so knowledgeable and accommodating. The only thing that would have been helpful would have been to know the cost of the tastings/lunch in advance. It was my fault for not asking. I found the cost to be very fair for what was provided. I highly recommend this trip.

Wow, hands down one of the greatest experiences we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. We were back and fourth whether to do the group or private tour of Tuscany and boy are we glad we did private. Francesco was THE BEST driver, friend, tour guide, and experience guide we could have ever ever asked for. He was the nicest person we met in all of Italy, beyond friendly, and gave us the greatest experience that we will never forget. He even took us on a back route on the way home and brought us to some of the most picturesque places we have ever seen in our lives. I would recommend private tours because you are on your time, and if you decide to leave a place early, like we did, you will have extra time for sight seeing on the long and scenic drive home. I cannot recommend this tour enough and especially with FRANCESCO!!! BEST GUIDE EVER!!

My family and I recently used this service for a tour outside of our Tuscany base in Florence. We all enjoyed our time seeing the sights and visiting two different wineries. Our driver, Francisco, was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Be warned, however, that if you want to learn more details about your trip ahead of time, or the opportunity to customize the trip, that you should call not email. If you email as I did you will get an AI sounding response that just repeats the words in your questions. If you email after the trip complaining about the lack of communication you will also get an AI sounding response back.

I would highly recommend this private tour. Francesco was a fantastic guide who listened to our preferences and delivered a day beyond our expectations. My family and I had one day designated in our two-week Italian adventure to visit the Tuscan countryside (which was part of my mom's bucket list) and this tour packed in all of our "must sees." Even though the tour covered a lot of territory, it was not rushed. We had the perfect amount of time in both Sienna and San Gimignano. We had explained beforehand that we weren't wine drinkers and wanted to spend most of our day sightseeing but we would still like to sample some local wines if we had time. Francesco took us to the perfect place in Greve, Enoteca Falorni, a beautiful cellar with self service wine tasting stations. We enjoyed a variety of Italian wines and a delicious charcuterie there. This stop made our tour run a little late but Francesco insisted he was in no hurry as he pointed out wines for us to try (helpful to non-wine drinkers for sure) and took time to tell us about different wineries in the Chianti region. It was evident he wanted us to enjoy our day and that meant a lot. Aside from the beautiful scenery, one of our favorite parts of the day was talking to Francesco and learning more about the region/Italian way of life. He was so kind and engaging. Thank you Francesco for a wonderful day and taking me to see the rooster! We hope to visit again soon.

Francesco was absolutely wonderful, and this trip was the absolute highlight of our time in Italy! He suggested a winery for lunch and made the arrangements, and it was so special and authentic — exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for. This was a highlight of our vacation in Florence. What a day! Our guide Francesco designed a fabulous tour of the incredible Tuscan countryside. Pienza, San Quirico, the Abby at San Galgano, Montefioralle, Greve In Chianti. So many breathtaking sights. Francesco was a perfect guide; happy to answer questions and offer interesting information about the places we were seeing but giving us plenty of time to take it all in on our own. He did a great job moving us along without ever feeling rushed. His love of the area comes through brilliantly. The van was roomy and comfortable. An unforgettable day.

Francesco was a delightful and informative driver and tour director. He truly wanted us to have a great time, which we did. Our lunch in the wine dollar with tasting was one of the highlights of our day. But Siena and San Gimignano were wonderful experiences, being allowed free time to explore. All six of us enjoyed all aspects of the tour, with Francesco being the center.

Francisco did an excellent job taking care of us. Every recommendation he made was perfect. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of the area. Being dropped off at the entrance of each plaza, restaurant, etc. was so convenient a major timesaver. The restaurant he recommended Tartufo Ristorante in Siena was one of the best restaurants of our entire vacation. The two owners set a special table for us and waited on us providing exceptional service explaining each dish. Francisco’s van was a newer Mercedes. It was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend Francisco.

This was probably the most amazing thing we did during our trip to Italy. We really wanted to see the Tuscany countryside but did not know how to fit in during our short time in Florence. At the last minute (the day before) we contacted Gino to bring my mom and me to these areas for an afternoon half day and he accommodated us right away. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and we had the most amazing time. The view in San Gimignano was breathtaking. From start to finish Gino was excellent. He reached out a few days prior to the trip to discuss logistics. He was prompt in picking us up. His driving is superb. He tailor made the trip to our interests. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. We will be using Gino again!
